- 만일 우리가 우리 하나님의 이름을 잊어버리고 이방 신을 섬겼다면
- 우리 마음의 비밀까지 다 아시는 하나님이 이것을 모르실 리 있겠습니까?
- 우리가 주를 위해 하루 종일 죽음의 위험을 당하고 도살장의 양 같은 취급을 받습니다.
- 여호와여, 깨소서! 어째서 주무십니까? 일어나시고 우리를 영원히 버리지 마소서.
- 어째서 주는 우리를 외면하시고 우리가 당하는 고통과 압박을 잊으십니까?

- If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god;
- Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.
- Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.
- Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, cast us not off for ever.
- Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression?
