- 왕이 옳은 것을 사랑하고 악한 것을 미워하시므로 왕의 하나님은 왕에게 기쁨의 기름을 부어 다른 왕들보다 높이셨습니다.
- 왕의 모든 옷은 몰약과 침향과 계피의 향기를 풍기고 상아궁에서 흘러나오는 현악기의 연주 소리는 왕의 마음을 즐겁게 합니다.
- 왕이 거느린 여인들 가운데는 여러 나라의 공주들이 있으며 왕의 우편에는 오빌의 순금으로 단장한 왕후가 서 있습니다.
- 딸이여, 내 말을 듣고 생각하며 귀를 기울이라. 너의 친정집 식구들을 다 잊어버려라.
