누가복음 5:29-6:11

 예수님께서는 세리 마태를 제자로 삼으신 것을 비방하는 자들에게 자신은 의인이 아닌 죄인을 불러 회개시키러 오셨다고 말씀하시고 자신을 안식일의 주인으로 천명하셨다.
  
  금식 논쟁(5:29-5:39)    
 
  1. 레위가 예수님을 위하여 자기 집에서 큰 잔치를 베풀자 많은 세무원들과 그 밖의 사람들도 예수님의 일행과 함께 식탁에 앉았다.
  2. 이것을 본 바리새파 사람들과 그들의 율법학자들이 예수님의 제자들에게 '어째서 당신들은 세무원이나 죄인들과 함께 식사하시오?' 하고 따졌다.
  3. 예수님은 그 말을 들으시고 이렇게 말씀하셨다. '건강한 사람에게는 의사가 필요 없고 병든 사람에게만 의사가 필요하다.
  4. 나는 의로운 사람을 부르러 온 것이 아니라 죄인을 불러 회개시키려고 왔다.'
  5. 그들이 예수님께 '요한의 제자들과 바리새파 사람들의 제자들은 자주 금식하며 기도하는데 당신의 제자들은 먹고 마시기만 하니 어찌된 일입니까?' 하고 물었다.
  1. And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them.
  2. But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
  3. And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.
  4. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
  5. And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?
  1. 그래서 예수님은 그들에게 '신랑이 함께 있는데 어떻게 손님들을 금식하게 할 수 있느냐?
  2. 그러나 신랑을 빼앗길 날이 올 것이다. 그 때에는 그들이 금식할 것이다.' 하고 대답하셨다.
  3. 그리고서 예수님은 그들에게 비유를 들어 이렇게 말씀하셨다. '새 옷에서 천 조각을 찢어 낡은 옷에 대고 깁는 사람은 없다. 그렇게 하면 새 옷도 못 쓰게 되고 찢어 낸 천 조각도 낡은 옷에 어울리지 않을 것이다.
  4. 또 새 포도주를 낡은 가죽부대에 넣는 사람도 없다. 그렇게 하면 새 포도주가 부대를 터뜨려 포도주는 쏟아지고 부대도 못 쓰게 된다.
  5. 그러므로 새 포도주는 새 부대에 넣어야 한다.
  1. And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?
  2. But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.
  3. And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old.
  4. And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.
  5. But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.
  1. 묵은 포도주를 마셔 본 사람은 새 포도주를 마시려 하지 않는다. 그들은 묵은 것이 더 좋다고 여기기 때문이다.'
  1. No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.
 
  안식일의 주인(6:1-6:11)    
 
  1. 안식일에 예수님이 밀밭 사이로 지나가실 때에 제자들이 밀 이삭을 잘라서 비벼 먹었다.
  2. 그러자 몇몇 바리새파 사람들이 '어째서 당신들은 안식일에 해서는 안 될 짓을 하시오?' 하고 따져 물었다.
  3. 그래서 예수님은 그들에게 이렇게 대답하셨다. '너희는 다윗이 자기 일행과 함께 배가 고팠을 때 한 일을 읽어 보지 못했느냐?
  4. 다윗이 하나님의 집에 들어가 제사장 외에는 아무도 먹을 수 없는 차림빵을 먹고 자기 일행에게도 주지 않았느냐?'
  5. 그리고서 예수님은 '나는 바로 안식일의 주인이다.' 하고 말씀하셨다.
  1. And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.
  2. And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days?
  3. And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him;
  4. How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?
  5. And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
  1. 또 다른 안식일에 예수님이 회당에 들어가 가르치고 계시는데 거기에 오른손이 오그라든 사람이 있었다.
  2. 율법학자들과 바리새파 사람들은 예수님을 고발할 구실을 찾으려고 안식일에 병자를 고쳐 주는가를 지켜보고 있었다.
  3. 예수님이 그들의 생각을 아시고 그 불구자에게 '일어나 앞으로 나오너라.' 하시자 그가 앞으로 나왔다.
  4. 그때 예수님은 그들을 향하여 '하나 물어 보자. 안식일에 선한 일을 하는 것과 악한 일을 하는 것, 사람을 살리는 것과 죽이는 것 중에 어느 것이 옳으냐?' 하고 물으셨다.
  5. 그리고서 예수님은 그들을 둘러보시고 손이 오그라든 그 사람에게 '네 손을 펴라.' 하고 말씀하셨다. 그래서 그가 손을 펴자 오그라든 그의 손이 완전히 회복되었다.
  1. And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.
  2. And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.
  3. But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.
  4. Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?
  5. And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
  1. 그러나 그들은 화가 잔뜩 나서 예수님을 없애 버릴 방법을 의논하였다.
  1. And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.
