신명기 32:48-34:12

 하나님께서 모세를 부르셔서 그가 약속의 땅이 바라보이는 산 위에서 운명하게 될 것을 말씀하셨다. 모세는 이스라엘 백성을 지파별로 축복하고 작별을 고했다. 자신의 사명을 다한 모세는 느보 산에 올라 약속의 땅 가나안을 바라보며 운명하여 모압의 한 골짜기에 장사되었다.
  
  모세의 축복(32:48-33:29)    
 
  1. 바로 그 날 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. '너는 여리고 맞은편 모압 땅에 있는 아바림 산맥의 느보산에 올라가서 내가 이스라엘 백성에게 줄 가나안 땅을 바라보아라.
  3. 너의 형 아론이 호르산에서 죽었던 것처럼 너는 그 산에서 죽게 될 것이다.
  4. 이것은 너희가 진 광야에 있는 가데스의 므리바 샘에서 범죄하여 이스라엘 백성에게 나의 거룩함을 나타내지 않았기 때문이다.
  5. 너는 내가 이스라엘 백성에게 줄 그 땅을 멀리서 바라보기만 하고 들어가지는 못할 것이다.'
  1. And the LORD spake unto Moses that selfsame day, saying,
  2. Get thee up into this mountain Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession:
  3. And die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people; as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people:
  4. Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of MeribahKadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.
  5. Yet thou shalt see the land before thee; but thou shalt not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Israel.
 
 
  1. 하나님의 사람 모세는 죽기 전에 이스라엘 백성에게 이렇게 축복하였다.
  2. 여호와께서 시내산에서 오시고, 세일산에서 일어나시고, 바란산에서 비취시고, 수많은 천사들과 함께 오셨으며 그 오른손에는 타오르는 불이 있었다.
  3. 여호와께서 자기 백성을 사랑하심으로 모든 성도가 그의 보호를 받으며 그의 발 아래서 교훈을 받는구나.
  4. 내가 전한 율법은 우리 민족의 소중한 유산이다.
  5. 여호와께서 이스라엘 백성의 왕이 되셨으니 모든 지파와 백성의 지도자들이 한자리에 모였을 때이다.'
  1. And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.
  2. And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.
  3. Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words.
  4. Moses commanded us a law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.
  5. And he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered together.
  1. 모세는 르우벤 지파에 대하여 이렇게 축복하였다. '르우벤은 죽지 않고 살아 남아 번성하기를 원하노라.'
  2. 그는 유다 지파에 대하여 이렇게 축복하였다. '여호와여, 유다의 부르짖는 소리를 들으시고 그를 자기 백성과 하나 되게 하소서. 그들을 위해 싸우소서. 그들을 도우셔서 원수들을 물리치게 하소서.'
  3. 그는 레위 지파에 대하여 이렇게 축복하였다. '여호와여, 경건한 레위 지파에게 우림과 둠밈을 주소서. 주께서는 맛사에서 그들을 시험하시고 므리바 물가에서 그들의 진실함을 입증하셨습니다.
  4. 그들은 자기 부모와 형제와 자녀들까지 외면하면서 주의 명령에 순종하고 주의 말씀을 지켰습니다.
  5. 그들은 주의 백성에게 주의 법을 가르치고 제단에 분향하며 주의 제단에 온전한 번제를 드릴 자들입니다.
  1. Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few.
  2. And this is the blessing of Judah: and he said, Hear, LORD, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be thou an help to him from his enemies.
  3. And of Levi he said, Let thy Thummim and thy Urim be with thy holy one, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah;
  4. Who said unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; neither did he acknowledge his brethren, nor knew his own children: for they have observed thy word, and kept thy covenant.
  5. They shall teach Jacob thy judgments, and Israel thy law: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt sacrifice upon thine altar.
  1. 여호와여, 그들에게 거룩한 능력을 주시고 그들이 하는 일을 기쁘게 받으소서. 그들을 대적하고 미워하는 모든 원수들의 허리를 꺾어 다시는 일어나지 못하게 하소서.'
  2. 그는 베냐민 지파에 대하여 이렇게 축복하였다. '여호와여, 그들은 주의 사랑을 받는 자들입니다. 온종일 그들을 지키시고 주의 품 안에 그들을 보호하소서.'
  3. 그는 요셉 지파에 대하여 이렇게 축복하였다. '여호와께서 하늘의 소중한 이슬과 땅 속 깊은 물로 그들의 땅을 축복하시기 원하노라.
  4. 해와 달로 자라는 제일 좋은 산물과
  5. 산과 언덕의 제일 좋은 산물과
  1. Bless, LORD, his substance, and accept the work of his hands; smite through the loins of them that rise against him, and of them that hate him, that they rise not again.
  2. And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders.
  3. And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath,
  4. And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon,
  5. And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills,
  1. 땅의 풍성한 보물과 불타는 가시덤불 가운데서 말씀하시던 하나님의 은혜로, 그들이 복받기를 원하노라. 그 형제들 가운데 으뜸인 요셉, 그의 지파에게 이런 축복이 내리기 원하노라.
  2. 요셉의 위엄은 수송아지와 같고, 그의 힘은 들소의 뿔과 같구나. 그가 이 뿔로 세상의 모든 민족을 들이받아 땅 끝까지 밀어붙일 것이니 이 뿔은 에브라임 만만의 자손이요 므낫세 천천의 자손이라'
  3. 그는 스불론 지파와 잇사갈 지파에 대하여 이렇게 축복하였다. '스불론이여, 너는 밖으로 나가는 것을 기뻐하라. 잇사갈이여, 너는 집 안에 있는 것을 즐거워하라.
  4. 그들은 외국인을 자기들의 산에 초대하여 의로운 제사를 드릴 것이며 바다의 풍성한 산물과 모래 속에 감추인 보배를 얻으리라.'
  5. 그는 갓 지파에 대하여 이렇게 축복하였다. '갓을 도우시는 하나님을 찬양하라. 그가 사자처럼 웅크리고 있다가 팔과 머리를 찢는구나.
  1. And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.
  2. His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.
  3. And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents.
  4. They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand.
  5. And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown of the head.
  1. 그가 자기를 위해 제일 좋은 땅을 선택하였으니 지도자의 몫으로 예비된 것이었다. 백성의 지도자들이 함께 모였을 때에 그가 여호와의 의로운 뜻과 법에 순종하였다.'
  2. 그는 단 지파에 대하여 이렇게 축복하였다. '단은 바산에서 뛰어나오는 사자의 새끼이다.'
  3. 그는 납달리 지파에 대하여 이렇게 축복하였다. '납달리 지파여, 너희가 여호와의 풍성한 은혜와 축복을 받으니 지중해 연안과 남쪽 네겝 지방을 얻으리라.'
  4. 그는 아셀 지파에 대하여 이렇게 축복하였다. '아셀은 그 형제들 중에 가장 많은 복을 받은 자이다. 그가 자기 형제들의 사랑을 받으며 그 발이 기름에 잠기기 원하노라.
  5. 네가 철과 놋쇠 빗장으로 보호를 받아 항상 안전하게 살리라.
  1. And he provided the first part for himself, because there, in a portion of the lawgiver, was he seated; and he came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of the LORD, and his judgments with Israel.
  2. And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion's whelp: he shall leap from Bashan.
  3. And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the LORD: possess thou the west and the south.
  4. And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil.
  5. Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be.
  1. 이스라엘아, 너의 하나님과 같은 신이 없구나. 그가 너를 도우시려고 하늘에서 위엄 있게 내려오신다!
  2. 영원하신 하나님이 너의 피난처이시며 그의 영원하신 팔이 너를 붙드신다. 그가 원수들을 네 앞에서 쫓아내시며 '그들을 멸하라.' 하시는구나.
  3. 그래서 이스라엘이 곡식과 새 포도주가 많은 땅에서 평화롭고 안전하게 살 것이니 하늘에서 이슬이 내리고 땅에서 샘이 솟는 곳이다.
  4. 이스라엘이여, 너는 정말 행복한 자이다. 너처럼 여호와의 구원을 받은 민족이 어디 있느냐? 그는 너의 방패와 칼이 되어 너를 지키고 너에게 승리를 주시는 분이시니 네 원수들이 네 앞에서 굴복할 것이며 네가 그들을 짓밟으리라.'
  1. There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky.
  2. The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.
  3. Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob shall be upon a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew.
  4. Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.
 
  모세의 죽음(34:1-34:12)    
 
  1. 그 후 모세가 모압 평야에서 느보산으로 올라가 여리고 맞은편에 있는 비스가 산꼭대기에 이르자 여호와께서는 길르앗에서 단까지의 모든 땅을 그에게 보여 주시고
  2. 또 납달리와 에브라임과 므낫세의 모든 땅과 지중해까지 뻗어 있는 유다의 모든 땅과
  3. 남쪽 네겝 지방과 종려나무 성인 여리고에서부터 소알까지의 평야를 그에게 보여 주셨다.
  4. 그런 다음에 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다. '이것은 내가 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 맹세하여 그들의 후손들에게 주겠다고 약속한 땅이다. 내가 그 땅을 너에게 보여 주었지만 너는 그리로 들어가지 못할 것이다.'
  5. 그래서 여호와의 종 모세는 여호와께서 말씀하신 대로 모압 땅에서 죽었다.
  1. And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the LORD shewed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan,
  2. And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea,
  3. And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar.
  4. And the LORD said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.
  5. So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.
  1. 여호와께서 모압 땅의 벧-브올 맞은편 골짜기에 그를 장사하였으나 오늘날까지도 그의 무덤을 정확하게 아는 자가 없다.
  2. 모세가 죽을 때 그의 나이 120세 였으나 그는 눈도 흐리지 않았고 기력이 쇠하지도 않았다.
  3. 이스라엘 백성은 모압 평야에서 30일 동안 그의 죽음을 애도하였다.
  4. 모세가 눈의 아들 여호수아에게 안수하였으므로 그에게 지혜의 영이 충만하였다. 그래서 이스라엘 백성은 여호수아에게 순종하였고 여호와께서 모세를 통해 명령하신 것을 실행하였다.
  5. 그 후로 이스라엘에는 모세와 같은 예언자가 없었다. 그는 여호와께서 대면하여 말씀하신 자였으며
  1. And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
  2. And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
  3. And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.
  4. And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.
  5. And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,
  1. '여호와의 보내심을 받아 이집트에서 바로와 그의 모든 신하들과 그의 온 땅에 놀라운 기적과 큰 능력을 행한 사람이었다.
  2. 이와 같이 이스라엘 백성이 보는 가운데서 모세가 행한 것처럼 놀라운 일을 보여 준 사람은 지금까지 아무도 없었다.
  1. In all the signs and the wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
  2. And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.
