- (다윗의 시. 성가대 지휘자를 따라 '백합화' 곡조에 맞춰 부른 노래) 하나님이시여, 나를 구원하소서. 물이 내 목까지 흘러 들어왔습니다.
- 내가 깊은 수렁에 빠져들어가나 발을 디딜 곳이 없습니다. 내가 깊은 물에 빠졌는데 큰 물결이 나를 덮칩니다.
- 내가 부르짖다가 지쳐 목이 바싹바싹 마르고 내가 하나님을 찾다가 눈마저 쇠약해졌습니다.
- 이유 없이 나를 미워하는 자가 내 머리털보다 많고 죄 없는 나를 죽이려는 내 원수들의 세력이 막강하므로 내가 훔치지도 않은 것을 물어 주게 되었습니다.
- 하나님이시여, 주께서 나의 어리석음을 아시므로 내 죄를 주께 숨길 수 없습니다.

- Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.
- I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
- I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.
- They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.
- O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.

- 전능하신 주 여호와여, 주를 신뢰하는 자들이 나 때문에 수치를 당하지 않게 하소서. 이스라엘의 하나님이시여, 주를 찾는 자들이 나 때문에 망신을 당하는 일이 없게 하소서.
- 내가 주로 인해 모욕을 당하고 수치를 뒤집어썼습니다.
- 내가 내 형제들에게 나그네가 되고 내 가족에게 이방인처럼 되었습니다.
- 주의 성전을 위하는 열심이 내 속에 불타오르므로 주께 던지는 모욕이 나에게 돌아옵니다.
- 내가 울고 금식하였더니 사람들이 나를 조롱하고

- Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.
- Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.
- I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children.
- For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.
- When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.

- 내가 굵은 삼베 옷을 입었더니 오히려 내가 그들에게 웃음거리가 되었습니다.
- 성문에 앉은 자들이 나를 조롱하고 술주정꾼들이 나에 대하여 노래를 지어 부릅니다.
- 그러나 여호와여, 나는 주께 기도합니다. 이제는 주께서 들으실 때입니다. 하나님이시여, 주의 크신 사랑과 구원의 진리로 나에게 응답하소서.
- 진흙탕 속에 빠져들어가는 나를 건지시고 나를 미워하는 자들에게서 나를 지키시며 깊은 물에서 나를 건지소서.
- 홍수가 나를 덮치거나 대양이 나를 삼키지 못하게 하시고 내가 웅덩이에 빠지지 않게 하소서.

- I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.
- They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.
- But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.
- Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.
- Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.
