- 내가 만일 이런 것을 말했다면 주의 백성들에게 반역자가 되었을 것입니다.
- 내가 이 모든 문제를 이해하기가 무척 힘들었으나
- 내가 하나님의 성소에 들어갔을 때 악인들의 최후를 깨달았습니다.
- 주께서 그들을 미끄러운 곳에 두셔서 파멸에 밀어 넣으시므로
- 그들이 순식간에 멸망하여 끔찍한 종말에 이릅니다.

- If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children.
- When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;
- Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
- Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
- How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.

- 그들은 아침이 되면 사라지는 꿈과 같은 자들입니다. 그래서 주께서 일어나시면 그들이 꿈처럼 사라질 것입니다.
- 내 마음이 괴롭고 아플 때
- 내가 어리석고 무식하여 주 앞에 짐승같이 되었습니다.
- 그러나 내가 항상 주를 가까이하므로 주께서 내 오른손을 붙드셨습니다.
- 주는 나를 주의 교훈으로 인도하시니 후에는 영광으로 나를 영접하실 것입니다.

- As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.
- Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
- So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.
- Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
- Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

- 하늘에서는 나에게 주밖에 없습니다. 내가 주와 함께 있는데 이 세상에서 무엇을 더 바라겠습니까?
- 몸과 마음은 쇠약해질 수 있습니다. 그러나 하나님은 내 마음의 반석이시며 내가 필요로 하는 전체입니다.
- 주를 멀리하는 자는 망할 것입니다. 주께 신실치 못한 자를 주는 멸망시키셨습니다.
- 그러나 나에게는 하나님을 가까이하는 것이 정말 좋은 일입니다. 내가 여호와 하나님을 나의 피난처로 삼았으니 주께서 행하신 모든 일을 널리 전하겠습니다.

- Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
- My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
- For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
- But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
