- 그들은 그의 능력을 기억하지 않았으며 자기들을 원수들에게서 구해 주신 날도 생각하지 않았다.
- 하나님은 그때 이집트에서 기적을 행하시고 소안들에서 놀라운 일을 보여 주셨다.
- 그가 강을 피로 변하게 하여 이집트인들이 마실 물을 얻지 못하게 하셨으며
- 파리 떼를 보내 그들을 괴롭게 하고 개구리를 보내 그들을 해하게 하셨으며
- 메뚜기를 보내 그들의 농산물을 먹게 하고 그 농토를 해치게 하셨다.

- They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy.
- How he had wrought his signs in Egypt, and his wonders in the field of Zoan.
- And had turned their rivers into blood; and their floods, that they could not drink.
- He sent divers sorts of flies among them, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them.
- He gave also their increase unto the caterpiller, and their labour unto the locust.

- 그가 우박으로 그들의 포도나무를 죽이시고 서리로 그들의 무화과나무를 죽이셨으며
- 그들의 가축을 우박으로 그들의 양떼를 벼락으로 치시고
- 무서운 분노를 그들에게 쏟아 큰 고통을 당하게 하시며 벌하는 사자들을 그들에게 보내셨다.
- 그가 분노를 억제하지 않으셨으니 그들의 생명을 아끼지 않으시고 무서운 전염병으로 그들을 죽이셨다.
- 그가 이집트의 모든 장남을 죽였으니 이들은 다 함의 후손들이었다.

- He destroyed their vines with hail, and their sycomore trees with frost.
- He gave up their cattle also to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts.
- He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.
- He made a way to his anger; he spared not their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence;
- And smote all the firstborn in Egypt; the chief of their strength in the tabernacles of Ham:
