- 여호와께서 내 힘을 중도에서 꺾고 내 수명을 단축하셨으므로
- 나는 이렇게 말하였다. '나의 하나님이시여, 나를 중년에 데려가지 마소서. 주는 영원히 사시는 분이십니다.
- 옛날 옛적에 주께서 땅의 기초를 놓으셨고 하늘도 주의 손으로 만드셨습니다.
- 하늘과 땅은 없어질 것이나 주는 영원히 살아 계실 것입니다. 그것들이 옷처럼 낡아 주께서 버리시면 사라질지라도
- 주는 변함없이 한결 같으시고 주의 연대는 끝이 없을 것입니다.

- He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days.
- I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations.
- Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.
- They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:
- But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.
