- 사람이 흑암과 죽음의 그늘에서 살며 쇠사슬에 매여 고통하는 죄수처럼 되었으니
- 그들이 하나님의 말씀을 거역하며 가장 높으신 분의 가르침을 거절하였음이라.
- 그러므로 그가 고된 노동으로 그들의 기를 꺾어 버렸으니 그들이 엎드러져도 도와 주는 자가 없었다.
- 그때 그들이 고통 가운데서 여호와께 부르짖으므로 저가 그들을 그 고통에서 구해 내시고
- 흑암과 죽음의 그늘에서 그들을 끌어내며 그 쇠사슬을 끊어 버렸다.

- Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;
- Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:
- Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.
- Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
- He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.

- 그들은 여호와의 한결같은 사랑과 그가 행하신 놀라운 일에 대하여 그에게 감사해야 하리라.
- 그가 놋문을 부수며 쇠빗장을 꺾으셨다.
- 미련한 자들이 자기 죄 때문에 고통을 당하며
- 식욕을 잃고 죽음의 문턱에 이르렀다
- 그때 그들이 고통 가운데서 여호와께 부르짖으므로 저가 그들을 그 고통에서 구해 내시고

- Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
- For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.
- Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
- Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.
- Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.

- 자기 말씀을 보내 그들을 고치시며 파멸에서 그들을 건지셨다.
- 그들은 여호와의 한결같은 사랑과 그가 행하신 놀라운 일에 대하여 감사하고
- 그에게 감사제를 드리며 즐거운 노래로 그가 행한 모든 일을 선포해야 하리라.

- He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
- Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
- And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
