- 여호와께서는 강을 말려 광야가 되게 하시고 흐르는 샘을 마른 땅이 되게 하시며
- 좋은 땅을 그 주민들의 죄악 때문에 소금밭이 되게 하시고
- 광야도 연못이 되게 하시며 마른 땅도 물이 흐르는 샘이 되게 하셨다.
- 그가 굶주린 자들을 그 곳에 정착하게 하시므로 그들이 살 성을 건설하고
- 밭에 씨를 뿌리며 포도원을 만들고 풍성한 수확을 거두었다.

- He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground;
- A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
- He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.
- And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;
- And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.

- 그는 자기 백성을 축복하셔서 크게 번성하게 하시고 그들의 가축이 줄지 않게 하셨다.
- 그들이 잔인한 학대와 고통으로 인구 수가 줄어들고 비천하게 되었을 때
- 여호와께서 그들의 탄압자들을 멸시하시고 그들을 길 없는 광야에서 방황하게 하셨다.
- 그러나 그는 가난한 자들을 그 고통에서 구하시고 그 가족을 양떼처럼 많게 하셨다.
- 의로운 자들은 이것을 보고 기뻐하는데 악한 자들은 입을 다물고 침묵을 지키는구나.

- He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
- Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.
- He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.
- Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.
- The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.

- 지혜로운 자가 누구냐? 내가 하는 말을 듣고 여호와의 크신 사랑을 생각하라.
|
- Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.
