- 여호와여, 주의 법도를 나에게 가르치소서. 내가 평생 그것을 지키겠습니다.
- 나에게 깨달음을 주소서. 내가 주의 법에 순종하며 최선을 다해 그것을 지키겠습니다.
- 주의 명령에 순종하는 길로 나를 인도하소서. 내가 그것을 기뻐합니다.
- 내 마음이 주의 말씀으로 향하게 하시고 이기적인 욕심으로 치우치지 않게 하소서.
- 내 눈을 돌이켜 헛된 것을 보지 않게 하시고 주의 말씀으로 내 삶을 새롭게 하소서.

- Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.
- Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
- Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
- Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
- Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.
