- (성전에 올라가는 노래) 하늘에 계시는 주여, 내가 눈을 들어 주를 바라봅니다.
- 종이 자기 주인의 손을 바라보듯이 우리가 우리 하나님 여호와를 바라보며 주께서 우리를 불쌍히 여기실 때까지 우리가 기다립니다.
- 여호와여, 우리를 불쌍히 여기시고 불쌍히 여기소서. 우리가 심한 멸시를 받고 있습니다.
- 부자들이 우리를 조롱하며 교만한 자들이 우리를 경멸하고 있습니다.

- Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.
- Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
- Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
- Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.
