- 계획은 사람이 세우지만 그 결과는 하나님께 달려있다.
- 사람의 행위가 자기 보기에는 다 깨끗한 것 같아도 마음을 살피시는 여호와 앞에서는 그렇지 않다.
- 네가 하는 일을 여호와께 맡겨라. 그러면 네가 계획한 일이 이루어질 것이다.
- 여호와께서 모든 것을 자기 목적에 맞도록 만드셨으므로 악인들도 재앙의 날을 위해 존재한다.
- 여호와께서 교만한 자들을 미워하시므로 그들은 절대로 형벌을 면치 못할 것이다.
