- 의로운 사람은 일곱 번 넘어져도 다시 일어나지만 악인은 단 한 번의 재앙으로도 쓰러지고 만다.
- 네 원수가 망하는 것을 보고 기뻐하거나 즐거워하지 말아라.
- 여호와께서 그것을 보시고 기뻐하지 않으시며 분노를 그에게서 돌이키실지도 모른다.
- 너는 악한 사람들 때문에 안달하거나 그들을 부러워하지 말아라.
- 악인들에게는 밝은 미래가 없을 것이며 희망의 등불도 꺼질 것이다.

- For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
- Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:
- Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.
- Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked:
- For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.
