	미가 4:1-5:15 미가는 이스라엘과 이방 민족 모두가 참여하는 영광과 평화의 메시아 왕국이 도래할 것을 예언하였다. 또한 그날에는 남은 자들이 포로에서 귀환하여 이스라엘이 회복되고 승리를 누리게 될 것이라고 예언하면서, 이스라엘에게 바벨론에서의 구원의 날을 기다리며 인내하라고 권면하였다. 그리고 미가는 메시아의 탄생과, 하나님의 왕국을 거룩하게 하실 그 분의 사역에 대해 예언하였다.

	메시아 왕국과 사역(4:1-5:15)

마지막 때에는 여호와의 성전이 있는 시온산이 세계에서 가장 유명한 산으로 알려질 것이며

수많은 민족들이 그리로 몰려들어 이렇게 말할 것이다. '자, 여호와의 산으로 올라가자. 이스라엘의 하나님이 계시는 성전으로 올라가자. 그가 우리에게 진리를 가르치실 것이며 우리는 그 진리대로 살 것이다.' 이것은 율법이 시온에서 나오고 여호와의 말씀이 예루살렘에서 나올 것이기 때문이다.

그가 많은 민족을 심판하고 강대국간의 분쟁을 해결할 것이다. 사람들이 칼을 두들겨 보습을 만들고 창을 두들겨 낫을 만들 것이며 나라끼리 전쟁을 하거나 군사 훈련을 받는 일이 다시는 없을 것이다.

모든 사람들이 자기 포도원과 무화과나무 아래에서 평화롭게 살 것이며 아무도 그들을 두렵게 할 자가 없을 것이다. 이것은 전능하신 여호와께서 약속하신 일이기 때문이다.

모든 민족이 다 자기들의 신을 믿고 의지할 것이나 우리는 우리 하나님 여호와를 영원히 믿고 의지할 것이다.

But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.

For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.

여호와께서 말씀하신다. '내가 벌할 백성, 곧 포로로 잡혀가서 병들어 절며 고통당하는 자들을 내가 모을 날이 있을 것이다.

그들이 절며 고국을 멀리 떠났으나 내가 그들을 남은 자들과 함께 새 출발을 하게 하겠다. 그들은 큰 나라를 이룰 것이며 나는 그 날부터 시온산에서 그들을 영원히 다스릴 것이다.

이스라엘 백성의 망대와 같은 예루살렘아, 네가 이전처럼 회복되어 다시 이스라엘의 수도가 될 것이다.'

너희는 어째서 크게 부르짖느냐? 너희를 인도할 왕이 없어졌고 너희 지혜로운 자들이 죽었으므로 너희가 해산하는 여인처럼 고통스러워하느냐?

시온의 백성들아, 너희는 해산하는 여인처럼 뒹굴며 괴로와하여라. 너희는 성을 떠나 빈 들에서 살게 될 것이다. 너희가 바빌론까지 끌려갈 것이나 여호와께서 거기서 너희를 원수들의 손에서 구해 내실 것이다.

In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted;

And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.

And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.

Now why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail.

Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.

지금 많은 나라들이 너희를 치려고 모여 '예루살렘은 멸망되어야 한다. 우리는 이 성이 파괴되는 것을 보아야겠다.' 하고 말하지만

그들은 여호와의 생각과 뜻을 알지 못하며 여호와께서 그들을 벌하시려고 곡식단을 타작 마당에 모으듯이 그들을 모았다는 사실을 깨닫지 못하고 있다.

그러므로 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '시온의 백성들아, 너희는 일어나 너희 원수들을 쳐라. 내가 너희를 철뿔과 놋쇠 발굽을 가진 소처럼 강하게 하겠다. 너희가 많은 나라를 쳐서 짓밟고 그들이 약탈한 재물을 온 세상의 주재인 나에게 바칠 것이다.'

Now also many nations are gathered against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion.

But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor.

Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.

이스라엘 사람들아, 병력을 동원하라. 우리가 포위되었으니 원수들이 막대기로 이스라엘 통치자의 뺨을 칠 것이다.

여호와께서 말씀하신다. '베들레헴 에브라다야, 너는 유다에서 가장 작은 마을 중의 하나이지만 너에게서 이스라엘을 다스릴 자가 나올 것이다. 그는 영원 전부터 있는 자이다.'

이스라엘의 수난이 끝날 때까지 하나님이 자기 백성을 이방인들의 손에 맡겨 두실 것이며 그 후에 흩어져 있는 그의 동족들이 이스라엘 땅으로 돌아올 것이다.

그가 오면 여호와의 능력과 그의 하나님 여호와의 위엄으로 자기 백성을 다스리고 그들을 안전하게 살게 할 것이다. 이것은 온 세상 사람들이 그의 위대함을 인정하고

그는 우리의 평화가 될 것이기 때문이다. 앗시리아 사람들이 우리 땅을 침략하여 우리 요새로 쳐들어오면 우리는 많은 강력한 지도자들을 보내 그들과 싸울 것이다.

Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.

But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.

And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.

And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.

그 지도자들이 칼로 니므롯 땅 앗시리아를 다스릴 것이다. 앗시리아 사람들이 우리 땅을 침략할 때 그들이 우리를 앗시리아 사람의 손에서 구해 낼 것이다.

그때 살아 남은 이스라엘 민족은 여호와께서 내리시는 이슬 같고 풀잎에 내리는 단비 같을 것이며 그들은 하나님을 의지하고 사람을 의지하지 않을 것이다.

그들은 온 세계에 흩어져 살게 될 것이며 숲이나 목장에서 먹이를 찾는 사자와 같아서 한번 지나가면 마구 부수고 짓밟아 버릴 것이므로 피할 자가 없을 것이다.

이스라엘은 그 원수들을 정복하여 그들을 완전히 멸망시킬 것이다.

여호와께서 말씀하신다. '그 때에 내가 너희 말들을 없애 버리고 너희 전차들을 부숴 버리며

And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.

And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the LORD, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men.

And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.

Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will destroy thy chariots:

너희 성들을 파괴하고 너희 요새들을 무너뜨릴 것이다.

내가 너희 마법을 없애 버리겠다. 너희 가운데 다시는 점장이가 없을 것이다.

내가 너희 모든 우상을 없애 버릴 것이니 너희가 다시는 손으로 만든 것을 섬기지 않을 것이다.

내가 또 너희 가운데서 아세라 여신상을 뿌리째 뽑아 버리고 너희 성들을 파괴할 것이며

나에게 순종하지 않은 모든 나라에 내 분노를 쏟아 보복할 것이다.'

And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strong holds:

And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:

Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands.

And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities.

And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.
