레위기

  본서는 이스라엘 백성들이 성막을 완성한 후로부터 시내 산을 출발할 때까지의 두 달 동안 하나님께서 모세에게 지시하신 내용들을 기록하고 있다. 특히 제사 의식과 속죄에 관한 내용이 자세히 기록되어 있으며, 속죄의 피를 통한 성결과 하나님께서 지시하신 거룩한 삶에 대한 명확한 기준을 제시하고 있다.

  1장부터 16장까지는 하나님과 그의 백성간에 가로막혀 있는 죄의 담을 헐고 구속하시려는 하나님의 섭리를 담고 있으며, 17장부터 27장까지는 하나님의 백성들이 정결하고 거룩한 삶을 살기 위해 지켜야 할 일련의 실천적 기준들을 제시하고 있다.

 

 

레위기 1:1-3:17

 번제는 소, 양, 염소의 흠 없는 수컷, 또는 비둘기를 불살라 화제로 드렸다. 소제는 번제, 화목제와 함께 드리는 제사로서, 빻은 곡식을 그대로 드리거나 요리해서 드리되 누룩이나 꿀을 넣지 않고 부패를 방지하는 소금을 쳐서 화제로 드렸다. 화목제는 소, 양, 염소 중 흠 없는 것을 잡아 그 피는 제단에 뿌리고 기름은 단 위에 불살라 화제로 드렸다.
  
  번제(1:1-1:17)    
 
  1. 여호와께서는 성막에서 모세를 불러 이스라엘 백성에게 다음과 같은 명령을 전하라고 말씀하셨다.
  2. '너희 중에 누구든지 나 여호와에게 제물을 드리고자 하거든 너희 가축 중에서 소나 양을 바쳐라.
  3. 만일 그 제물이 소를 잡아 불로 태워 바치는 번제라면 흠 없는 수소로 하고 내가 기쁘게 받을 수 있도록 그것을 성막 입구 나 여호와 앞에서 바쳐라.
  4. 제물을 바치는 자가 번제물의 머리에 손을 얹으면 내가 그것을 그의 죄를 대신 속죄하는 희생의 제물로 받을 것이다.
  5. 그는 나 여호와 앞에서 그 수송아지를 잡고 아론 자손의 제사장들은 그 피를 가져다가 성막 앞에 있는 제단 사면에 뿌려야 한다.
  1. Then the LORD called to Moses and spoke to him from the tent of meeting, saying,
  2. "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'When any man of you brings an offering to the LORD, you shall bring your offering of animals from the herd or the flock.
  3. 'If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer it, a male without defect; he shall offer it at the doorway of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before the LORD.
  4. 'He shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, that it may be accepted for him to make atonement on his behalf.
  5. 'He shall slay the young bull before the LORD; and Aaron's sons the priests shall offer up the blood and sprinkle the blood around on the altar that is at the doorway of the tent of meeting.
  1. 그리고 그는 그 제물의 가죽을 벗기고 각을 뜰 것이며
  2. 제사장 아론의 자손들은 제단 위에 불을 놓고 그 불 위에 나무를 벌여놓은 다음
  3. 머리 위 기름을 포함하여 그 각 뜬 제물을 단의 불붙는 나무 위에 벌여 놓아야 한다.
  4. 그리고 그 사람은 내장과 다리를 물로 씻을 것이며 제사장은 그 모든 제물을 단 위에서 불로 태워야 한다. 이것은 불로 태우는 화제이며 나 여호와를 기쁘게 하는 향기이다.
  5. 만일 그 제물이 양이나 염소를 잡아 불로 태워 바치는 번제라면 그것은 흠 없는 수컷이어야 한다.
  1. 'He shall then skin the burnt offering and cut it into its pieces.
  2. 'The sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.
  3. 'Then Aaron's sons the priests shall arrange the pieces, the head and the suet over the wood which is on the fire that is on the altar.
  4. 'Its entrails, however, and its legs he shall wash with water And the priest shall offer up in smoke all of it on the altar for a burnt offering, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the LORD.
  5. 'But if his offering is from the flock, of the sheep or of the goats, for a burnt offering, he shall offer it a male without defect.
  1. 그 제물을 가지고 온 사람은 나 여호와 앞 제단 북쪽에서 그 짐승을 잡아야 하며 아론의 자손 제사장들은 그 피를 단 사면에 뿌려야 한다.
  2. 그리고 그는 그 짐승의 각을 뜨고 제사장들은 머리와 기름을 포함하여 각 뜬 그 제물을 단의 불붙는 나무 위에 벌여놓아야 한다.
  3. 또 그 사람은 내장과 다리를 물로 씻어야 하며 제사장은 그 모든 제물을 단 위에서 불로 태워야 한다. 이것은 불로 태우는 화제이며 나 여호와를 기쁘게 하는 향기이다.
  4. 만일 나 여호와에게 드리는 제물이 새를 불로 태워 바치는 번제이면 그것은 산비둘기나 집비둘기 새끼여야 한다.
  5. 제사장은 그것을 단으로 가지고 가서 목을 비틀어 끊고 그 머리를 단 위에서 불태우고 그 피를 단 곁에 흘릴 것이며
  1. 'He shall slay it on the side of the altar northward before the LORD, and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.
  2. 'He shall then cut it into its pieces with its head and its suet, and the priest shall arrange them on the wood which is on the fire that is on the altar.
  3. 'The entrails, however, and the legs he shall wash with water. And the priest shall offer all of it, and offer it up in smoke on the altar; it is a burnt offering, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the LORD.
  4. 'But if his offering to the LORD is a burnt offering of birds, then he shall bring his offering from the turtledoves or from young pigeons.
  5. 'The priest shall bring it to the altar, and wring off its head and offer it up in smoke on the altar; and its blood is to be drained out on the side of the altar.
  1. 멱통과 내장은 제거하여 제단 동쪽의 재 버리는 곳에 던져야 한다.
  2. 그리고 그는 그 새의 날개를 잡고 몸을 완전히 떼어내지 말고 찢어서 그것을 단의 불붙는 나무 위에서 태워야 한다. 이것은 불로 태우는 화제이며 나 여호와를 기쁘게 하는 향기이다.'
  1. 'He shall also take away its crop with its feathers and cast it beside the altar eastward, to the place of the ashes.
  2. 'Then he shall tear it by its wings, but shall not sever it And the priest shall offer it up in smoke on the altar on the wood which is on the fire; it is a burnt offering, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the LORD.
 
  소제(2:1-2:16)    
 
  1. '누구든지 곡식으로 나 여호와에게 소제를 드리려거든 고운 밀가루를 바쳐라. 제물을 바치는 자는 그 밀가루에 감람기름을 붓고 그 위에 향을 놓아
  2. 아론의 자손 제사장들에게 가져가야 할 것이며 제사장은 감람기름이 섞인 그 고운 밀가루 한줌과 모든 향을 집어 그 제물 전체를 나 여호와에게 바쳤다는 표로 그것을 제단 위에서 불로 태워야 한다. 이것은 불로 태우는 화제이며 나 여호와를 기쁘게 하는 향기이다.
  3. 그 소제물의 남은 것은 아론과 그 자손들에게 주어라. 이것은 나 여호와에게 바친 화제 중에서 아주 거룩한 것이다.
  4. 만일 너희가 화덕에 구운 것으로 소제를 드리려고 하면 그것은 고운 밀가루에 누룩을 넣지 않고 감람기름을 섞어 구운 빵이나 감람기름을 발라 구운 얇은 과자여야 한다.
  5. 만일 철판에 부친 것으로 소제를 드리려고 하면 그것은 고운 밀가루에 기름을 섞어 누룩을 넣지 말고 만든 것이어야 한다.
  1. 'Now when anyone presents a grain offering as an offering to the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour, and he shall pour oil on it and put frankincense on it.
  2. 'He shall then bring it to Aaron's sons the priests; and shall take from it his handful of its fine flour and of its oil with all of its frankincense And the priest shall offer it up in smoke as its memorial portion on the altar, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the LORD.
  3. 'The remainder of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons: a thing most holy, of the offerings to the LORD by fire.
  4. 'Now when you bring an offering of a grain offering baked in an oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, or unleavened wafers spread with oil.
  5. 'If your offering is a grain offering made on the griddle, it shall be of fine flour, unleavened, mixed with oil;
  1. 그리고 그것을 조각으로 나누어 그 위에 기름을 부어라. 이것은 곡식으로 드리는 소제이다.
  2. 만일 너희가 솥에 찐 빵으로 소제를 드리려고 하면 그것은 고운 밀가루에 감람기름을 섞어 만든 것이어야 한다.

  1. you shall break it into bits and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering.
  2. 'Now if your offering is a grain offering made in a pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.
  3. 'When you bring in the grain offering which is made of these things to the LORD, it shall be presented to the priest and he shall bring it to the altar.
  4. 'The priest then shall take up from the grain offering its memorial portion, and shall offer it up in smoke on the altar as an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the LORD.
  5. 'The remainder of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons: a thing most holy of the offerings to the LORD by fire.
  1. 너희는 나 여호와에게 곡식으로 드리는 소제물에 누룩을 넣지 말아라. 너희가 나에게 바치는 소제물에 누룩이나 꿀을 넣어서는 안된다.
  2. 누룩과 꿀은 제일 처음 추수한 예물로서 나에게 바칠 수 있으나 그것을 단에 올려 태워서는 안 된다.
  3. 너희는 곡식으로 드리는 모든 소제물에 소금을 쳐라. 소금은 너희와 나 사이에 맺은 계약의 상징이므로 너희 모든 예물의 이 소금을 쳐야 한다.
  4. 너희가 첫 이삭을 나 여호와에게 소제로 드리려거든 그것을 볶아서 찧은 다음
  5. 그 위에 감람기름을 붓고 향을 얹어 바쳐라. 이것은 곡식으로 드리는 소제이다.
  1. 'No grain offering, which you bring to the LORD, shall be made with leaven, for you shall not offer up in smoke any leaven or any honey as an offering by fire to the LORD.
  2. 'As an offering of first fruits you shall bring them to the LORD, but they shall not ascend for a soothing aroma on the altar.
  3. 'Every grain offering of yours, moreover, you shall season with salt, so that the salt of the covenant of your God shall not be lacking from your grain offering; with all your offerings you shall offer salt.
  4. 'Also if you bring a grain offering of early ripened things to the LORD, you shall bring fresh heads of grain roasted in the fire, grits of new growth, for the grain offering of your early ripened things.
  5. 'You shall then put oil on it and lay incense on it; it is a grain offering.
  1. 그리고 제사장은 그 모든 것을 나 여호와에게 바쳤다는 표로 찧은 곡식 일부와 감람기름 일부와 모든 향을 불로 태워야 한다. 이것은 나 여호와에게 불로 태워 바치는 화제이다.'
  1. 'The priest shall offer up in smoke its memorial portion, part of its grits and its oil with all its incense as an offering by fire to the LORD.
 
  화목제(3:1-3:17)    
 
  1. '화목제를 드릴 때 누구든지 소로 드리고 싶은 사람은 수컷이든 암컷이든 흠이 없는 것을 나 여호와에게 바쳐야 한다.
  2. 그 제물을 가져온 사람은 그 짐승의 머리에 손을 얹은 다음 그것을 성막 입구에서 잡아야 하며 아론의 자손 제사장들은 그 피를 제단 사면에 뿌려야 한다.
  3. 그는 화목제물 중에서 나 여호와에게 불로 태워 바칠 부분, 곧 내장을 덮고 있거나 그것에 붙어 있는 모든 기름과
  4. 두 콩팥과 그 위에 덮여 있는 허리부분의 기름과 간에 덮여 있는 간 꺼풀을 떼어낼 것이며
  5. 아론의 자손들은 그것들을 단의 불붙는 나무 위, 번제물 위에 놓아 태워야 한다. 이것은 불로 태우는 화제이며 나 여호와를 기쁘게 하는 향기이다.
  1. 'Now if his offering is a sacrifice of peace offerings, if he is going to offer out of the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without defect before the LORD.
  2. 'He shall lay his hand on the head of his offering and slay it at the doorway of the tent of meeting, and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood around on the altar.
  3. 'From the sacrifice of the peace offerings he shall present an offering by fire to the LORD, the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails,
  4. and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys.
  5. 'Then Aaron's sons shall offer it up in smoke on the altar on the burnt offering, which is on the wood that is on the fire; it is an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the LORD.
  1. 만일 나 여호와에게 드릴 화목제의 제물이 양이라면 암컷이든 수컷이든 그것은 반드시 흠 없는 것이어야 한다.
  2. 만일 그 제물이 어린 양일 경우 그것을 드리는 사람은 그 양을 나 여호와 앞에 끌어다가
  3. 그 머리에 손을 얹은 다음 성막 앞에서 잡을 것이며 아론의 자손들은 그 피를 단 사면에 뿌려야 한다.
  4. 그리고 그는 화목제물 중에서 나 여호와에게 불로 태워 바칠 부분, 곧 등뼈 부근에서 잘라낸 기름진 꼬리와 내장을 덮고 있거나 그것의 붙어 있는 모든 기름과
  5. 두 콩팥과 그 위에 덮여 있는 허리 부분의 기름과 간에 덮여 있는 간 꺼풀을 떼어낼 것이며
  1. 'But if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offerings to the LORD is from the flock, he shall offer it, male or female, without defect.
  2. 'If he is going to offer a lamb for his offering, then he shall offer it before the LORD,
  3. and he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering and slay it before the tent of meeting, and Aaron's sons shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.
  4. 'From the sacrifice of peace offerings he shall bring as an offering by fire to the LORD, its fat, the entire fat tail which he shall remove close to the backbone, and the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails,
  5. and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys.
  1. 제사장은 그것들을 단 위에서 불로 태워야 한다. 이것은 나 여호와에게 불로 태워 바치는 음식이다.
  2. 만일 화목제의 제물이 염소라면 그는 그것을 나 여호와 앞에 끌어다가
  3. 그 머리에 손을 얹은 다음 성막 앞에서 잡을 것이며 아론의 자손들은 그 피를 단 사면에 뿌려야 한다.

  2. 'Moreover, if his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before the LORD,
  3. and he shall lay his hand on its head and slay it before the tent of meeting, and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.
  4. 'From it he shall present his offering as an offering by fire to the LORD, the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails,
  5. and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys.
  1. 제사장은 그것들을 단 위에서 불로 태워야 한다. 이것은 불로 태워 바치는 음식이며 마음을 기쁘게 하는 향기이다. 모든 기름은 나 여호와의 것이다.
  2. 너희는 기름과 피를 먹지 말아라. 이것은 너희가 어느 곳에 살든지 대대로 지켜야 할 불변의 규정이다.'
  1. 'The priest shall offer them up in smoke on the altar as food, an offering by fire for a soothing aroma; all fat is the LORD'S.
  2. 'It is a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you shall not eat any fat or any blood.'"
