레위기 17:1-18:30

 하나님께서는 선민 이스라엘 백성들에게 생명의 상징인 피와 버려진 짐승의 시체를 먹지 말 것을 명령하셨다. 그리고 그들이 전에 살았던 애굽과 앞으로 들어가서 살게 될 가나안 땅의 악한 풍습을 본받지 말 것을 강력하게 명령하셨다.
  
  피에 관한 규례(17:1-17:16)    
 
  1. 여호와께서는 모세를 불러 아론과 그의 아들들과 이스라엘 모든 백성에게 다음과 같은 명령을 전하라고 말씀하셨다.
  2. (1절과 같음)
  3. '이스라엘 사람 중에 누구든지 나 여호와에게 제물로 바칠 소나 양이나 염소를 성막 앞이 아닌 다른 지역에서 잡는 사람은 제사법을 어기고 피를 흘린 죄로 내 백성 가운데서 제거될 것이다.
  4. (3절과 같음)
  5. 그러므로 이스라엘 백성은 들에서 잡던 희생제물을 성막 입구로 끌어다가 제사장에게 주어 나 여호와에게 화목제물로 드려야 하며
  1. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  2. "Speak to Aaron and to his sons and to all the sons of Israel and say to them, 'This is what the LORD has commanded, saying,
  3. "Any man from the house of Israel who slaughters an ox or a lamb or a goat in the camp, or who slaughters it outside the camp,
  4. and has not brought it to the doorway of the tent of meeting to present it as an offering to the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD, bloodguiltiness is to be reckoned to that man. He has shed blood and that man shall be cut off from among his people.
  5. "The reason is so that the sons of Israel may bring their sacrifices which they were sacrificing in the open field, that they may bring them in to the LORD, at the doorway of the tent of meeting to the priest, and sacrifice them as sacrifices of peace offerings to the LORD.
  1. 제사장은 그 피를 성막 입구에 있는 제단에 뿌리고 그 기름은 불로 태워 나 여호와를 기쁘게 하는 향기가 되게 해야 한다.
  2. 이스라엘 백성은 들에서 짐승을 잡아 염소 우상에게 제사 지내던 일을 버려야 할 것이다. 이것은 그들이 대대로 지켜야 할 규정이다.
  3. 이스라엘 사람이건 그들 가운데 사는 외국인이건 누구든지 다른 희생제물을 드릴 때
  4. 나 여호와의 성막 입구로 가지고 와서 드리지 않는 자는 내 백성 가운데서 제거될 것이다.
  5. 이스라엘 사람이건 그들 가운데 사는 외국인이건 누구든지 피를 먹는 자가 있으면 내가 그를 심판하여 내 백성 가운데서 제거하겠다.
  1. "The priest shall sprinkle the blood on the altar of the LORD at the doorway of the tent of meeting, and offer up the fat in smoke as a soothing aroma to the LORD.
  2. "They shall no longer sacrifice their sacrifices to the goat demons with which they play the harlot. This shall be a permanent statute to them throughout their generations."'
  3. "Then you shall say to them, 'Any man from the house of Israel, or from the aliens who sojourn among them, who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,
  4. and does not bring it to the doorway of the tent of meeting to offer it to the LORD, that man also shall be cut off from his people.
  5. 'And any man from the house of Israel, or from the aliens who sojourn among them, who eats any blood, I will set My face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from among his people.
  1. 모든 생물체의 생명은 피에 있다. 그래서 내가 피를 너희에게 주어 이것을 단에 뿌림으로써 너의 생명을 속하게 하였다. 이와 같이 생명이 피에 있기 때문에 이 피가 죄를 속하는 것이다.
  2. 그러므로 내가 이스라엘 백성에게 너희는 아무도 피를 먹지 말고 너희 가운데 사는 외국인도 피를 먹어서는 안된다고 하였다.
  3. 이스라엘 사람이건 그들 가운데 사는 외국인이건 누구든지 먹어도 좋은 짐승이나 새를 사냥하여 잡았을 경우에 그 피는 땅에 쏟아 흙으로 덮어야 한다.
  4. 이것은 피가 그 생명과도 같기 때문이다. 그래서 내가 이스라엘 백성에게 피를 먹지 말라고 명령하였다. 이와 같이 모든 생물체의 생명은 피에 있으므로 누구든지 피를 먹는 자는 내 백성 가운데서 제거될 것이다.
  5. 본토인이든 외국인이든 저절로 죽은 것이나 맹수에게 찢겨 죽은 동물의 고기를 먹는 자는 누구든지 옷을 빨고 목욕을 해야 한다. 그래도 저녁까지는 부정할 것이며 그 후에야 깨끗해질 것이다.
  1. 'For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement.'
  2. "Therefore I said to the sons of Israel, 'No person among you may eat blood, nor may any alien who sojourns among you eat blood.'
  3. "So when any man from the sons of Israel, or from the aliens who sojourn among them, in hunting catches a beast or a bird which may be eaten, he shall pour out its blood and cover it with earth.
  4. "For as for the life of all flesh, its blood is identified with its life. Therefore I said to the sons of Israel, 'You are not to eat the blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood; whoever eats it shall be cut off.'
  5. "When any person eats an animal which dies or is torn by beasts, whether he is a native or an alien, he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and remain unclean until evening; then he will become clean.
  1. 그러나 만일 그가 옷을 빨지도 않고 목욕도 하지 않으면 그는 그 죄의 댓가를 받게 될 것이다.'
  1. "But if he does not wash them or bathe his body, then he shall bear his guilt."
 
  비정상적인 성 관계 금지(18:1-18:30)    
 
  1. 여호와께서 모세를 통하여 이스라엘 백성에게 말씀하셨다. '나는 여호와 너희 하나님이다.
  2. (1절과 같음)
  3. 너희는 오랫동안 살았던 이집트 땅의 풍습을 좇지 말고 내가 너희를 인도할 가나안 땅의 풍습도 좇지 말아라.
  4. 너희는 내 법에 순종하고 내가 명령한 것을 그대로 준수하라. 나는 너희 하나님 여호와이다.
  5. 그러므로 너희는 나의 법과 규정을 지켜야 한다. 사람이 이것을 행하면 살 것이다. 나는 여호와이다.
  1. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  2. "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'I am the LORD your God.
  3. 'You shall not do what is done in the land of Egypt where you lived, nor are you to do what is done in the land of Canaan where I am bringing you; you shall not walk in their statutes.
  4. 'You are to perform My judgments and keep My statutes, to live in accord with them; I am the LORD your God.
  5. 'So you shall keep My statutes and My judgments, by which a man may live if he does them; I am the LORD.
  1. 너희는 가까운 친척과 성관계를 하지 말아라. 나는 여호와이다.
  2. 너희 자녀들은 부모에게 절대로 부끄러운 짓을 해서는 안 된다.
  3. 또 너희는 아버지의 첩에게 부끄러운 짓을 하지 말아라.
  4. 너희는 친자매이든 의붓자매이든, 그들이 너희와 한 집에서 태어났든지 다른 곳에서 태어났든지 일체 그들과 성관계를 해서는 안 된다.
  5. 너희는 친손녀나 외손녀를 욕보이지 말아라. 그들은 가까운 친척이다.
  1. 'None of you shall approach any blood relative of his to uncover nakedness; I am the LORD.
  2. 'You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father, that is, the nakedness of your mother. She is your mother; you are not to uncover her nakedness.
  3. 'You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's wife; it is your father's nakedness.
  4. 'The nakedness of your sister, either your father's daughter or your mother's daughter, whether born at home or born outside, their nakedness you shall not uncover.
  5. 'The nakedness of your son's daughter or your daughter's daughter, their nakedness you shall not uncover; for their nakedness is yours.
  1. 너희는 의붓누이와 성관계를 하지 말아라. 그녀도 역시 너희 자매이다.
  2. 너희는 너희 고모에게 부끄러운 짓을 하지 말아라. 그녀는 너희 아버지와 가까운 친척이다.
  3. 너희는 너희 이모에게 부끄러운 짓을 하지 말아라. 그녀는 너희 어머니와 가까운 친척이다.
  4. 너희는 너희 아버지 형제의 아내를 가까이하여 부끄러운 짓을 하지 말아라. 그들은 너희 백모와 숙모이다.
  5. 너희는 너희 며느리를 욕보이지 말아라. 그녀는 너희 아들의 아내이다.
  1. 'The nakedness of your father's wife's daughter, born to your father, she is your sister, you shall not uncover her nakedness.
  2. 'You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's sister; she is your father's blood relative.
  3. 'You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister, for she is your mother's blood relative.
  4. 'You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's brother; you shall not approach his wife, she is your aunt.
  5. 'You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter-in-law; she is your son's wife, you shall not uncover her nakedness.
  1. 너희는 너희 형제의 아내와 성관계를 하지 말아라. 그들은 너희 형수와 제수이다.
  2. 너희는 너희가 성관계를 가진 여인의 딸이나 손녀를 욕보이지 말아라. 그들은 피를 함께 나눈 자들이므로 이런 짓은 악한 행위이다.
  3. 너희는 아내가 살아 있는 동안 그녀의 자매를 또 다른 아내로 맞아 그들이 서로 시기하는 일이 없도록 하라.
  4. 너희는 월경 중에 있는 부정한 여자와 성관계를 하지 말아라.
  5. 또 너희는 남의 아내와 간통하여 너희 자신을 더럽히지 말아라.
  1. 'You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother's wife; it is your brother's nakedness.
  2. 'You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and of her daughter, nor shall you take her son's daughter or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness; they are blood relatives. It is lewdness.
  3. 'You shall not marry a woman in addition to her sister as a rival while she is alive, to uncover her nakedness.
  4. 'Also you shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness during her menstrual impurity.
  5. 'You shall not have intercourse with your neighbor's wife, to be defiled with her.
  1. 너희는 너희 자녀를 이방 신 몰렉에게 주어 불로 태우는 제물이 되게 함으로써 너희 하나님의 이름을 욕되게 하지 말아라. 나는 여호와이다.
  2. 너희는 절대로 동성 연애를 해서는 안 된다. 이것은 추잡한 짓이다.
  3. 남자이든 여자이든 누구든지 짐승과 음란한 짓을 하여 자신을 더럽히지 말아라. 이것은 무서운 죄이다.
  4. 너희는 이런 추잡한 일로 자신을 더럽히지 말아라. 내가 너희 앞에서 쫓아낼 이방 민족들이 이런 죄로 더럽혀졌고
  5. 그들의 온 땅도 더럽혀졌으므로 내가 그 땅에 사는 사람들을 벌하여 그 곳에서 쫓아낼 것이다.
  1. 'You shall not give any of your offspring to offer them to Molech, nor shall you profane the name of your God; I am the LORD.
  2. 'You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.
  3. 'Also you shall not have intercourse with any animal to be defiled with it, nor shall any woman stand before an animal to mate with it; it is a perversion.
  4. 'Do not defile yourselves by any of these things; for by all these the nations which I am casting out before you have become defiled.
  5. 'For the land has become defiled, therefore I have brought its punishment upon it, so the land has spewed out its inhabitants.
  1. 그들은 이런 악한 짓을 하여 그 땅을 더럽혔으나 너희만은 그렇게 해서는 안 된다. 너희는 이스라엘 사람이건 너희 가운데 사는 외국인이건 모두 나 여호와의 법과 규정을 따르고 지켜야 한다.
  2. (26절과 같음)
  3. 너희가 만일 그 땅을 더럽히면 내가 쫓아낼 민족과 마찬가지로 너희도 그 땅에서 쫓아내겠다.
  4. 누구든지 이런 악한 일을 하나라도 범하는 자는 내 백성 가운데서 제거될 것이다.
  5. 그러므로 너희는 내 명령에 순종해야 하며 이런 악습을 따라서는 안 된다. 너희는 앞으로 들어가 살 그 땅의 백성들이 행하는 악한 풍습을 좇아 너희 자신을 더럽히지 말아라. 나는 너희 하나님 여호와이다.'
  1. 'But as for you, you are to keep My statutes and My judgments and shall not do any of these abominations, neither the native, nor the alien who sojourns among you
  2. (for the men of the land who have been before you have done all these abominations, and the land has become defiled);
  3. so that the land will not spew you out, should you defile it, as it has spewed out the nation which has been before you.
  4. 'For whoever does any of these abominations, those persons who do so shall be cut off from among their people.
  5. 'Thus you are to keep My charge, that you do not practice any of the abominable customs which have been practiced before you, so as not to defile yourselves with them; I am the LORD your God.'"
