- 우리도 우리 조상들처럼 범죄하여 악을 행하였습니다.
- 우리 조상들이 이집트에 있을 때 주의 놀라운 일을 깨닫지 못하며 주께서 수없이 베푸신 사랑을 기억하지 않고 홍해에서 주를 거역하였습니다.
- 그러나 여호와께서 자기 이름을 위해 그들을 구원하셨으니 그의 위대한 능력을 알게 하기 위해서였다.
- 그가 홍해를 꾸짖자 물이 말랐으니 그가 자기 백성을 인도하여 사막을 지나듯이 바다를 지나가게 하셨다.
- 저가 그들을 원수들의 손에서 구출하셨고

- We have sinned like our fathers, We have committed iniquity, we have behaved wickedly.
- Our fathers in Egypt did not understand Your wonders; They did not remember Your abundant kindnesses, But rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea.
- Nevertheless He saved them for the sake of His name, That He might make His power known.
- Thus He rebuked the Red Sea and it dried up, And He led them through the deeps, as through the wilderness.
- So He saved them from the hand of the one who hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
