- 주의 종 다윗을 생각해서라도 주께서 기름 부어 세운 왕을 물리치지 마소서.
- 주께서 다윗에게 엄숙하게 약속하셨으니 이 약속을 취소하지 못하실 것입니다. '나는 네 아들 중 하나를 네 왕위에 앉히리라.
- 만일 네 아들들이 내 계약과 내가 그들에게 가르치는 법을 지키면 그들의 자손들도 계속 너를 이어 왕위에 앉을 것이다.'
