이사야 20:1-22:25

 이사야는 삼 년 동안 벗은 몸과 벗은 발로 행하며, 앗수르의 공격으로 애굽과 구스가 당할 치욕을 몸소 보여 주었다. 바벨론, 두마, 아라비아, 게달이 멸망을 당하게 될 것이고, 하나님을 존경하지 않은 예루살렘에는 심판이 임할 것이라고 하였다. 또한 하나님의 집에 수치를 끼친 셉나를 관직에서 쫓아내고 대신에 엘리아김을 세웠지만, 후에 그도 부패하게 될 것이라고 예언하였다.
  
  애굽, 구스, 바벨론의 멸망(20:1-21:17)    
 
  1. 앗시리아의 사르곤황제가 자기 군대의 총사령관을 보내 아스돗을 공격하여 점령할 당시
  2. 여호와께서 아모스의 아들 이사야에게 '네 삼베 옷과 신발을 벗어라.' 하고 말씀하셨다. 그래서 그는 순종하여 벌거벗고 맨발로 다녔다.
  3. 그러자 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. '내 종 이사야는 지난 3년 동안 벌거벗고 맨발로 다녔는데 이것은 앞으로 이집트와 이디오피아가 당할 일의 상징이다.
  4. 이와 같이 이집트 사람들과 이디오피아 사람들이 앗시리아 황제에게 포로로 잡혀갈 때 젊은 사람, 늙은 사람 할 것 없이 다 옷을 벗은 채 엉덩이를 드러내 놓고 맨발로 끌려갈 것이며 이것이 이집트의 수치가 될 것이다.
  5. 이디오피아를 의지하고 이집트를 자랑하던 자들이 당황하고 부끄러워할 것이며
  1. In the year that the commander came to Ashdod, when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him and he fought against Ashdod and captured it,
  2. at that time the LORD spoke through Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, "Go and loosen the sackcloth from your hips and take your shoes off your feet " And he did so, going naked and barefoot.
  3. And the LORD said, "Even as My servant Isaiah has gone naked and barefoot three years as a sign and token against Egypt and Cush,
  4. so the king of Assyria will lead away the captives of Egypt and the exiles of Cush, young and old, naked and barefoot with buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.
  5. "Then they will be dismayed and ashamed because of Cush their hope and Egypt their boast.
  1. 그 날에 블레셋 해안 지역에 사는 자들이 이렇게 말할 것이다. '앗시리아 왕에게서 우리를 보호해 줄 것으로 믿었던 자들이 당한 일을 보아라. 이제 어떻게 하면 우리가 살아 남을 수 있단 말인가?'
  1. "So the inhabitants of this coastland will say in that day, 'Behold, such is our hope, where we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria; and we, how shall we escape?'"
 
 
  1. 이것은 바빌로니아에 대한 말씀이다. 사막을 휩쓰는 회오리바람처럼 공포의 땅에서 적군이 밀어닥칠 것이다.
  2. 나는 속이고 약탈하는 비참한 모습을 환상에서 보았다. 엘람군아, 공격하라! 메디아군아, 포위하라! 하나님은 바빌론 때문에 고통당하는 모든 민족의 탄식을 그치게 하실 것이다.
  3. 환상에서 보고 들은 것으로 인해서 내가 두려움에 사로잡혀 해산하는 여인처럼 고통을 당하는구나.
  4. 너무 무서워서 내 마음이 떨리고 내 심장이 두근거리며 내가 기다리던 희망의 서광은 공포로 변하고 말았다.
  5. 보라, 그들이 잔치를 베풀어 식탁에 음식을 잔뜩 차려 놓고 먹고 마시고 있다. 장교들아, 너희 방패를 들고 싸울 준비를 하라.
  1. The oracle concerning the wilderness of the sea As windstorms in the Negev sweep on, It comes from the wilderness, from a terrifying land.
  2. A harsh vision has been shown to me; The treacherous one still deals treacherously, and the destroyer still destroys Go up, Elam, lay siege, Media; I have made an end of all the groaning she has caused.
  3. For this reason my loins are full of anguish; Pains have seized me like the pains of a woman in labor. I am so bewildered I cannot hear, so terrified I cannot see.
  4. My mind reels, horror overwhelms me; The twilight I longed for has been turned for me into trembling.
  5. They set the table, they spread out the cloth, they eat, they drink; "Rise up, captains, oil the shields,"
  1. 그때 환상 가운데 여호와께서 나에게 말씀하셨다. '너는 가서 파수꾼을 세우고 그가 보는 대로 보고하게 하라.
  2. 만일 그가 쌍쌍이 말을 타고 오는 사람들이나 나귀와 낙타를 타고 오는 사람들을 보면 세심히 관찰하게 하라.'
  3. 이때 파수꾼이 외쳤다. '주여, 내가 매일 밤낮으로 망대에 서서 지켜보고 있습니다. 보십시오! 저기 말 탄 자들이 쌍쌍이 오고 있습니다.' 그때 나는 이런 음성을 들었다. '함락되었다. 함락되었다. 바빌론이 함락되었다. 그들이 섬기던 모든 우상들이 다 부서져 땅에 떨어졌구나.'
  4. (8절과 같음)
  5. 타작 마당의 곡식처럼 짓밟힌 내 백성들아, 이스라엘의 하나님 전능하신 여호와에게서 내가 지금까지 들은 것을 너희에게 다 말해 주었다.
  1. For thus the Lord says to me, "Go, station the lookout, let him report what he sees.
  2. "When he sees riders, horsemen in pairs, A train of donkeys, a train of camels, Let him pay close attention, very close attention."
  3. Then the lookout called, "O Lord, I stand continually by day on the watchtower, And I am stationed every night at my guard post.
  4. "Now behold, here comes a troop of riders, horsemen in pairs." And one said, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon; And all the images of her gods are shattered on the ground."
  5. O my threshed people, and my afflicted of the threshing floor! What I have heard from the LORD of hosts, The God of Israel, I make known to you.
  1. 이것은 에돔에 대한 말씀이다. 어떤 사람이 세일에서 나를 불러 '파수꾼, 밤이 어떻게 되었소? 파수꾼, 밤이 얼마나 남았소?' 하고 물었다.
  2. 그래서 나는 이렇게 대답하였다. '아침이 오고 있으나 밤도 올 것이오. 묻고 싶으면 다시 와서 물으시오.'
  3. 이것은 아라비아에 대한 말씀이다. 아라비아 사막에 머물고 있는 드단의 대상들아,
  4. 물을 가져다가 목마른 자들에게 주어라. 데마에 사는 사람들아, 피난민들에게 먹을 것을 주어라.
  5. 그들은 전쟁에서 칼과 화살의 위협을 피해 도망한 자들이다.
  1. The oracle concerning Edom One keeps calling to me from Seir, "Watchman, how far gone is the night? Watchman, how far gone is the night?"
  2. The watchman says, "Morning comes but also night. If you would inquire, inquire; Come back again."
  3. The oracle about Arabia In the thickets of Arabia you must spend the night, O caravans of Dedanites.
  4. Bring water for the thirsty, O inhabitants of the land of Tema, Meet the fugitive with bread.
  5. For they have fled from the swords, From the drawn sword, and from the bent bow And from the press of battle.
  1. 그때 여호와께서 나에게 말씀하셨다. '1년 내에 게달족의 모든 영광이 사라질 것이며
  2. 가장 용감한 그들의 궁수병들도 살아 남는 자는 극소수에 불과할 것이다. 이것은 이스라엘의 하나님 나 여호와의 말이다.'
  1. For thus the Lord said to me, "In a year, as a hired man would count it, all the splendor of Kedar will terminate;
  2. and the remainder of the number of bowmen, the mighty men of the sons of Kedar, will be few; for the LORD God of Israel has spoken."
 
  셉나와 엘리아김(22:1-22:25)    
 
  1. 이것은 예루살렘에 대한 말씀이다. 무슨 일인가? 어째서 모든 사람들이 옥상으로 올라가고 있는가?
  2. 흥청망청 떠들어대며 즐거워하던 성이여, 칼날에 죽임을 당한 것도 아닌데 네 백성이 죽어 쓰러졌구나.
  3. 너희 지도자들은 다 도망하여 화살 하나 쏘아 보지 못하고 생포되었으며 멀리 도망한 자들도 붙잡혀 포로가 되고 말았다.
  4. 그러므로 나를 혼자 내버려 두어 내 백성의 죽음을 슬퍼하며 통곡하게 하고 나를 위로하려 들지 말아라.
  5. 환상의 골짜기에 전능하신 여호와께서 작정하신 공포와 짓밟힘과 혼란의 날이 왔구나. 예루살렘 성벽이 무너지고 죽음의 소리가 산골짜기에 메아리치고 있다.
  1. The oracle concerning the valley of vision What is the matter with you now, that you have all gone up to the housetops?
  2. You who were full of noise, You boisterous town, you exultant city; Your slain were not slain with the sword, Nor did they die in battle.
  3. All your rulers have fled together, And have been captured without the bow; All of you who were found were taken captive together, Though they had fled far away.
  4. Therefore I say, "Turn your eyes away from me, Let me weep bitterly, Do not try to comfort me concerning the destruction of the daughter of my people."
  5. For the Lord GOD of hosts has a day of panic, subjugation and confusion In the valley of vision, A breaking down of walls And a crying to the mountain.
  1. 엘람 사람들은 활과 화살을 가지고 전차와 말을 타고 왔으며 기르 사람들은 방패를 들고 나왔다.
  2. 그러므로 유다의 아름다운 골짜기에 전차가 가득하고 마병은 예루살렘 성문 앞까지 늘어섰으니
  3. 이제는 유다의 모든 방어진이 무너지고 말았구나. 그러자 너희가 병기고에서 무기를 끄집어내고
  4. 무너진 예루살렘 성벽의 수리할 곳을 찾으며 예루살렘의 모든 가옥을 조사하여 그 일부는 헐어서 그 돌을 성벽 수리하는 데 사용하고
  5. (9절과 같음)
  1. Elam took up the quiver With the chariots, infantry and horsemen; And Kir uncovered the shield.
  2. Then your choicest valleys were full of chariots, And the horsemen took up fixed positions at the gate.
  3. And He removed the defense of Judah. In that day you depended on the weapons of the house of the forest,
  4. And you saw that the breaches In the wall of the city of David were many; And you collected the waters of the lower pool.
  5. Then you counted the houses of Jerusalem And tore down houses to fortify the wall.
  1. 또 충분한 물을 확보하기 위해 옛 연못에서 흘러내리는 물을 가둘 저수지를 성 안에 만들었다. 그러나 너희는 오래 전에 이 모든 일을 계획하시고 이런 일이 일어나게 하신 하나님에게는 아무 관심도 쏟지 않았다.
  2. 그때 전능하신 주 여호와께서 너희에게 통곡하고 슬퍼하며 머리를 밀고 굵은 삼베 옷을 입으라고 하셨으나
  3. 오히려 너희는 기뻐하고 즐거워하며 소와 양을 잡아먹고 포도주를 마시며 '내일 죽을 텐데. 먹고 마시자.' 하였다.
  4. 전능하신 여호와께서 나에게 직접 말씀하셨다. '이 죄는 그들이 죽을 때까지도 용서받지 못할 것이다. 이것은 전능한 나 여호와의 말이다.'
  5. 전능하신 주 여호와께서 나에게 왕궁 살림을 맡은 셉나에게 가서 이렇게 전하라고 말씀하셨다.
  1. And you made a reservoir between the two walls For the waters of the old pool. But you did not depend on Him who made it, Nor did you take into consideration Him who planned it long ago.
  2. Therefore in that day the Lord GOD of hosts called you to weeping, to wailing, To shaving the head and to wearing sackcloth.
  3. Instead, there is gaiety and gladness, Killing of cattle and slaughtering of sheep, Eating of meat and drinking of wine: "Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we may die."
  4. But the LORD of hosts revealed Himself to me, "Surely this iniquity shall not be forgiven you Until you die," says the Lord GOD of hosts.
  5. Thus says the Lord GOD of hosts, "Come, go to this steward, To Shebna, who is in charge of the royal household,
  1. '네가 여기서 무엇을 하고 있느냐? 네가 무슨 권리로 이 바위산에 네 무덤을 팠느냐?
  2. 나 여호와가 너를 단단히 붙들어
  3. 공처럼 말아 싸서 광대한 나라에 던질 것이다. 네가 거기서 죽고 너의 화려한 마차도 거기 있을 것이며 너는 네 주인에게 수치가 될 것이다.
  4. 내가 너를 관직에서 쫓아 내고 네 지위를 낮출 것이다.
  5. 그런 다음 내가 힐기야의 아들인 내 종 엘리야김을 불러
  1. 'What right do you have here, And whom do you have here, That you have hewn a tomb for yourself here, You who hew a tomb on the height, You who carve a resting place for yourself in the rock?
  2. 'Behold, the LORD is about to hurl you headlong, O man. And He is about to grasp you firmly
  3. And roll you tightly like a ball, To be cast into a vast country; There you will die And there your splendid chariots will be, You shame of your master's house.'
  4. "I will depose you from your office, And I will pull you down from your station.
  5. "Then it will come about in that day, That I will summon My servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah,
  1. 그에게 네 관복을 입히고 네 띠를 매어 주고 네가 가졌던 모든 권한을 그에게 주겠다. 그는 예루살렘과 유다 사람들에게 아버지와 같은 자가 될 것이다.
  2. 또 내가 그에게 다윗 집안의 열쇠를 줄 것이니 그가 열면 닫을 사람이 없고 그가 닫으면 열 사람이 없을 것이다.
  3. 내가 못을 박듯이 그의 위치를 확고하게 할 것이며 그는 자기 집안 사람들에게 최대의 자랑거리가 될 것이다.
  4. 그러나 그의 모든 친척들과 집안 사람들이 그에게 무거운 짐이 될 것이다. 그들은 마치 못에 걸린 크고 작은 그릇처럼 그에게 잔뜩 매달릴 것이다.
  5. 그렇게 되면 튼튼하게 박힌 그 못이 삭아 부러져서 떨어질 것이며 거기에 매달린 모든 것이 그것과 함께 떨어지고 말 것이다. 이것은 나 여호와의 말이다.'
  1. And I will clothe him with your tunic And tie your sash securely about him. I will entrust him with your authority, And he will become a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah.
  2. "Then I will set the key of the house of David on his shoulder, When he opens no one will shut, When he shuts no one will open.
  3. "I will drive him like a peg in a firm place, And he will become a throne of glory to his father's house.
  4. "So they will hang on him all the glory of his father's house, offspring and issue, all the least of vessels, from bowls to all the jars.
  5. "In that day," declares the LORD of hosts, "the peg driven in a firm place will give way; it will even break off and fall, and the load hanging on it will be cut off, for the LORD has spoken."
