이사야 31:1-33:24

 이사야는 하나님께 의지하지 않고 애굽에 도움을 구한 자들은 심판받을 것이며,예루살렘은 보호받고 앗수르는 망할 것이라고 하였다. 그리고 장차 의의 왕이신 메시아의 통치로 말미암아 방백들은 공평으로 일할 것이라고 하였다. 또한 경고를 받지 않는 안일한 여자들은 환난 날에 수치를 당할 것이라고 하면서, 하나님께서 위로부터 성신을 부어 주셔서 공평과 의를 펴시고 학대받는 자들의 구원이 되실 것이라고 예언하였다.
  
  불신앙에 대한 심판(31:1-31:9)    
 
  1. 도움을 얻으려고 이집트로 내려가는 자들에게 화가 있을 것이다. 그들은 말과 전차와 마병과 같은 이집트의 막강한 군사력은 의지하면서도 이스라엘의 거룩하신 하나님 여호와를 의지하지 않고 그의 도움을 구하지도 않는다.
  2. 여호와께서도 지혜로우시므로 재앙을 내리실 것이다. 그는 자기 마음을 바꾸지 않으시고 일어나셔서 악을 행하는 자기 백성을 치시며 또 그들을 돕는 자들을 벌하실 것이다.
  3. 이집트 사람들은 인간에 불과할 뿐 신이 아니며 그들의 말들도 고기 덩어리일 뿐 영이 아니다. 여호와께서 손을 뻗치시면 돕는 자도 넘어지고 도움을 받는 자도 쓰러져 다 함께 멸망할 것이다.
  4. 여호와께서 나에게 말씀하셨다. '사자가 먹이를 덮치고 으르렁거릴 때 목자들이 몰려와서 아무리 소리를 치고 떠들어대도 사자는 놀라거나 당황하여 달아나지 않는다. 이와 같이 전능한 나 여호와도 시온산에서 싸울 것이다.
  5. 새가 둥지 위를 맴돌며 자기 새끼를 보호하듯이 나 여호와가 예루살렘을 지키고 보호할 것이다.'
  1. Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help And rely on horses, And trust in chariots because they are many And in horsemen because they are very strong, But they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek the LORD!
  2. Yet He also is wise and will bring disaster And does not retract His words, But will arise against the house of evildoers And against the help of the workers of iniquity.
  3. Now the Egyptians are men and not God, And their horses are flesh and not spirit; So the LORD will stretch out His hand, And he who helps will stumble And he who is helped will fall, And all of them will come to an end together.
  4. For thus says the LORD to me, "As the lion or the young lion growls over his prey, Against which a band of shepherds is called out, And he will not be terrified at their voice nor disturbed at their noise, So will the LORD of hosts come down to wage war on Mount Zion and on its hill."
  5. Like flying birds so the LORD of hosts will protect Jerusalem He will protect and deliver it; He will pass over and rescue it.
  1. 이스라엘 백성들아, 너희가 하나님을 거역하고 범죄하였으나 이제는 그에게 돌아오라.
  2. 너희가 은이나 금으로 만든 죄악의 수상들을 다 집어 던질 날이 올 것이다.
  3. 앗시리아는 멸망할 것이나 사람의 칼이 아니라 여호와의 칼에 망하고 말 것이다. 앗시리아 사람들은 그 칼 앞에서 도망할 것이며 그들의 젊은이들은 노예로 잡혀갈 것이다.
  4. 그들의 황제는 놀라 달아날 것이며 그들의 장군들도 공포에 질려 그들의 군기를 버리고 달아 날 것이다. 이것은 여호와의 말씀이다. 그의 불은 지금도 예루살렘에서 타고 있다.
  1. Return to Him from whom you have deeply defected, O sons of Israel.
  2. For in that day every man will cast away his silver idols and his gold idols, which your sinful hands have made for you as a sin.
  3. And the Assyrian will fall by a sword not of man, And a sword not of man will devour him So he will not escape the sword, And his young men will become forced laborers.
  4. "His rock will pass away because of panic, And his princes will be terrified at the standard," Declares the LORD, whose fire is in Zion and whose furnace is in Jerusalem.
 
  의의 나라(32:1-32:20)    
 
  1. 보라! 앞으로 한 왕이 정의로 통치할 것이며 지도자들은 공정하게 다스릴 것이다.
  2. 그 왕은 광풍과 폭풍을 피하는 피신처와 같을 것이며 사막에 흐르는 물과 같고 열기로 타는 듯한 메마른 땅에 큰 바위 그늘과 같을 것이다.
  3. 그때 이스라엘 사람들은 하나님을 보는 눈이 열리고 그의 음성을 듣게 될 것이며
  4. 성급한 자들도 진리를 깨달을 것이며 말을 더듬는 자들도 분명하게 말할 것이다.
  5. 그 때에는 어리석은 자나 사기꾼과 같은 건달들을 아무도 영웅시하지 않을 것이다.
  1. Behold, a king will reign righteously And princes will rule justly.
  2. Each will be like a refuge from the wind And a shelter from the storm, Like streams of water in a dry country, Like the shade of a huge rock in a parched land.
  3. Then the eyes of those who see will not be blinded, And the ears of those who hear will listen.
  4. The mind of the hasty will discern the truth, And the tongue of the stammerers will hasten to speak clearly.
  5. No longer will the fool be called noble, Or the rogue be spoken of as generous.
  1. 어리석은 자는 어리석은 것을 말하고 악한 것을 생각하며 말과 행동으로 여호와를 모독하고 굶주린 자에게 먹을 것을 주지 않으며 목마른 자에게 마실 것을 주지 않는다.
  2. 못된 건달의 주된 무기는 악이다. 그는 악한 계획을 세우며 거짓말로 가난한 사람들을 파멸시키고 그들이 바른 말을 하는 경우에도 그들을 궁지에 몰아 넣는다.
  3. 그러나 고상한 사람은 고상한 계획을 세우며 언제나 고상한 일에만 집착한다.
  4. 아무 염려 없이 안일하게 사는 여자들아, 내 말에 귀를 기울여라.
  5. 아무 걱정 없는 여자들아, 내년 이맘때에는 너희가 수확할 포도와 열매가 없으므로 근심하게 될 것이다.
  1. For a fool speaks nonsense, And his heart inclines toward wickedness: To practice ungodliness and to speak error against the LORD, To keep the hungry person unsatisfied And to withhold drink from the thirsty.
  2. As for a rogue, his weapons are evil; He devises wicked schemes To destroy the afflicted with slander, Even though the needy one speaks what is right.
  3. But the noble man devises noble plans; And by noble plans he stands.
  4. Rise up, you women who are at ease, And hear my voice; Give ear to my word, You complacent daughters.
  5. Within a year and a few days You will be troubled, O complacent daughters; For the vintage is ended, And the fruit gathering will not come.
  1. 염려 없이 안일하게 사는 여자들아, 이제는 두려움으로 떨며 너희 옷을 벗고 허리에 삼베를 둘러라.
  2. 너희는 못 쓰게 될 좋은 밭과 포도원을 생각하며 가슴을 치고 통곡하라.
  3. 너희 땅에는 가시와 찔레가 무성할 것이며 쾌락을 누리던 너희 집과 성들은 폐허가 될 것이다.
  4. 궁전도 폐허가 되고 사람들이 붐비던 성도 한적하며 요새와 망대가 있는 곳이 영영 황무지가 되어 들나귀와 양떼가 거기서 풀을 뜯어먹을 것이다.
  5. 그러나 결국 하나님이 우리에게 성령을 보내실 것이므로 황무지가 다시 비옥하게 될 것이며 우리는 밭에서 풍성한 농산물을 거둬들일 것이다.
  1. Tremble, you women who are at ease; Be troubled, you complacent daughters; Strip, undress and put sackcloth on your waist,
  2. Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine,
  3. For the land of my people in which thorns and briars shall come up; Yea, for all the joyful houses and for the jubilant city.
  4. Because the palace has been abandoned, the populated city forsaken Hill and watch-tower have become caves forever, A delight for wild donkeys, a pasture for flocks;
  5. Until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fertile field, And the fertile field is considered as a forest.
  1. 그때 온 땅에는 정의가 실현될 것이다.
  2. 모든 사람들이 옳은 일을 행할 것이므로 항상 평화와 안정이 있을 것이다.
  3. 내 백성들은 안전하고 평화로운 집과 거처에서 살 것이지만
  4. 앗시리아 사람들은 멸망하고 그들의 도시는 파괴될 것이다.
  5. 그리고 하나님은 자기 백성을 크게 축복하셔서 씨를 뿌리는 곳마다 그들이 풍성한 농산물을 거둬들일 것이며 그들의 소떼와 양떼는 푸른 목장에서 풀을 뜯어먹을 것이다.
  1. Then justice will dwell in the wilderness And righteousness will abide in the fertile field.
  2. And the work of righteousness will be peace, And the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.
  3. Then my people will live in a peaceful habitation, And in secure dwellings and in undisturbed resting places;
  4. And it will hail when the forest comes down, And the city will be utterly laid low.
  5. How blessed will you be, you who sow beside all waters, Who let out freely the ox and the donkey.
 
  주의 구원(33:1-33:24)    
 
  1. 약탈을 당한 적이 없으면서도 다른 나라를 약탈하고 배신을 당한 적이 없으면서도 다른 나라를 배신한 앗시리아여, 너에게 화가 있을 것이다. 네가 약탈하기를 그치면 너도 약탈을 당할 것이며 네가 배신하기를 그치면 너도 배신을 당할 것이다.
  2. 여호와여, 우리에게 은혜를 베푸소서. 우리가 주를 사모합니다. 주는 매일 우리의 힘이 되시고 우리가 환난을 당할 때 우리를 구원하소서.
  3. 주의 두려운 음성을 들으면 원수들이 달아나며 주께서 일어나시면 모든 민족이 흩어집니다.
  4. 메뚜기 떼가 들판을 덮치듯이 예루살렘 사람들이 앗시리아군을 덮쳐 약탈할 것이다.
  5. 여호와는 높은 곳에 계시는 위대한 분이시므로 예루살렘을 평등과 정의의 고장이 되게 하실 것이다.
  1. Woe to you, O destroyer, While you were not destroyed; And he who is treacherous, while others did not deal treacherously with him As soon as you finish destroying, you will be destroyed; As soon as you cease to deal treacherously, others will deal treacherously with you.
  2. O LORD, be gracious to us; we have waited for You Be their strength every morning, Our salvation also in the time of distress.
  3. At the sound of the tumult peoples flee; At the lifting up of Yourself nations disperse.
  4. Your spoil is gathered as the caterpillar gathers; As locusts rushing about men rush about on it.
  5. The LORD is exalted, for He dwells on high; He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness.
  1. 그는 언제나 자기 백성에게 풍성한 구원을 베풀며 그들에게 지혜와 지식과 안정을 주실 것이다. 그러므로 그들의 가장 큰 보화는 여호와를 두려운 마음으로 섬기는 바로 그것이다.
  2. 그들의 용사들이 거리에서 부르짖으며 평화 사절단이 슬피 울고
  3. 대로가 황폐하여 행인들의 발길이 끊어졌구나. 앗시리아 사람들이 평화 조약을 깨뜨리고 그들의 증인들 앞에서 한 약속을 무시하며 사람을 존중하지 않는다.
  4. 이스라엘의 모든 땅이 슬퍼하고 쇠잔해 가니 레바논의 숲은 마르고 사론의 비옥하던 골짜기는 사막과 같으며 바산과 갈멜에서는 나무잎이 떨어지고 있구나.
  5. 그러나 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '내가 이제 일어나서 내 능력과 힘을 보이겠다.
  1. And He will be the stability of your times, A wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge; The fear of the LORD is his treasure.
  2. Behold, their brave men cry in the streets, The ambassadors of peace weep bitterly.
  3. The highways are desolate, the traveler has ceased, He has broken the covenant, he has despised the cities, He has no regard for man.
  4. The land mourns and pines away, Lebanon is shamed and withers; Sharon is like a desert plain, And Bashan and Carmel lose their foliage.
  5. "Now I will arise," says the LORD, "Now I will be exalted, now I will be lifted up.
  1. 너희 앗시리아 사람들은 아무리 계획을 세우고 애써도 얻는 것이 아무것도 없을 것이며 내 호흡이 불이 되어 너희를 삼킬 것이다.
  2. 너희 군대는 불에 타서 석회처럼 될 것이며 잘라서 불에 집어 넣는 가시나무처럼 될 것이다.
  3. 너희 멀리 있는 민족들아, 내가 행한 일을 들어라. 너희 가까이 있는 자들아, 내 능력을 인정하라.'
  4. 시온의 죄인들이 두려워 떨며 '우리 중에 누가 영원히 타는 이 소멸하는 불 앞에서 살아 남을 수 있겠는가?' 하는구나.
  5. 옳은 일을 행하는 자, 정직하게 말하는 자, 부당한 재물을 거절하는 자, 절대로 뇌물을 받지 않는 자, 살인 음모에 귀를 기울이지 않는 자, 눈을 감아 악을 보지 않는 자,
  1. "You have conceived chaff, you will give birth to stubble; My breath will consume you like a fire.
  2. "The peoples will be burned to lime, Like cut thorns which are burned in the fire.
  3. "You who are far away, hear what I have done; And you who are near, acknowledge My might."
  4. Sinners in Zion are terrified; Trembling has seized the godless "Who among us can live with the consuming fire? Who among us can live with continual burning?"
  5. He who walks righteously and speaks with sincerity, He who rejects unjust gain And shakes his hands so that they hold no bribe; He who stops his ears from hearing about bloodshed And shuts his eyes from looking upon evil;
  1. 이런 자들은 다 하나님의 심판의 불 앞에서도 살아 남을 수 있을 것이다. 그들은 튼튼한 요새 안에 있는 것처럼 안전한 보호를 받을 것이며 먹을 것과 마실 것이 그들에게서 떨어지지 않을 것이다.
  2. 너희는 다시 영광스러운 왕을 볼 것이며 멀리 광활한 땅을 바라보게 될 것이다.
  3. 앗시리아군이 너희 성 밖에서 너희 망대를 세며 너희 성에서 거둬들일 조공이 얼마나 될지 계산하던 공포의 시절이 지나가버린 추억에 불과할 것이다.
  4. 알아들을 수도 없는 이상한 말을 지껄여대는 오만한 외국인들을 너희가 다시는 보지 않을 것이다.
  5. 우리가 명절을 지키던 시온성을 바라보라. 예루살렘은 살기에 평화로운 곳이 되어 말뚝이 뽑히지 않고 밧줄이 끊어지지 않아 옮겨지지 않을 천막과 같을 것이다.
  1. He will dwell on the heights, His refuge will be the impregnable rock; His bread will be given him, His water will be sure.
  2. Your eyes will see the King in His beauty; They will behold a far-distant land.
  3. Your heart will meditate on terror: "Where is he who counts? Where is he who weighs? Where is he who counts the towers?"
  4. You will no longer see a fierce people, A people of unintelligible speech which no one comprehends, Of a stammering tongue which no one understands.
  5. Look upon Zion, the city of our appointed feasts; Your eyes will see Jerusalem, an undisturbed habitation, A tent which will not be folded; Its stakes will never be pulled up, Nor any of its cords be torn apart.
  1. 여호와께서 우리의 능력이 되시므로 그 곳은 적의 범선이나 큰 배가 접근할 수 없는 넓은 강으로 둘러싸인 피난처와 같을 것이다.
  2. 여호와는 우리의 재판장이시며 우리에게 율법을 주신 분이시요 우리의 왕이시므로 우리를 구원하실 것이다.
  3. 적의 배가 돛대가 부러지고 돛줄이 풀려 그 용구들이 쓸모없게 되면 하나님의 백성들이 그들의 재물을 약탈하여 나눌 것이며 절름발이도 자기 몫을 얻을 것이다.
  4. 시온에 사는 사람들은 아무도 병들었다고 말하지 않을 것이며 그들은 자기들이 지은 죄에 대하여 다 용서받을 것이다.
  1. But there the majestic One, the LORD, will be for us A place of rivers and wide canals On which no boat with oars will go, And on which no mighty ship will pass--
  2. For the LORD is our judge, The LORD is our lawgiver, The LORD is our king; He will save us--
  3. Your tackle hangs slack; It cannot hold the base of its mast firmly, Nor spread out the sail. Then the prey of an abundant spoil will be divided; The lame will take the plunder.
  4. And no resident will say, "I am sick"; The people who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity.
