이사야 49:1-50:11

 이사야는 하나님께서 택하신 종 메시아는 이스라엘을 비롯하여 장차 모든 성도들의 영원한 구원자가 되실 것임을 예언하였다. 하나님께서는 말씀에 불순종했던 이스라엘 백성들에게 심판을 내려 포로 생활을 하게 하셨지만 회복을 약속하셨다. 메시아가 하나님의 뜻에 순종함으로 받는 고난은 인간이 스스로 씻을 수 없는 죄악을 대속하기 위함이었다
  
  야웨의 종의 노래(49:1-49:7)    
 
  1. 섬들아, 먼 땅에 사는 민족들아, 내 말을 들어라! 내가 태어나기도 전에 여호와께서 나를 부르시고 내가 어머니 뱃속에 있을 때 내 이름을 말씀하셨다.
  2. 그가 내 입을 예리한 칼처럼 만드시고 그 손으로 나를 보호하시며 나를 곧 사용할 날카로운 화살처럼 만드시고
  3. '이스라엘아, 너는 내 종이다. 내가 너를 통해 내 영광을 나타낼 것이다.' 하고 말씀하셨다.
  4. 그러나 나는 '내가 공연히 수고하였으며 쓸데없이 내 힘을 다 쏟았다.'고 말하였다. 그렇지만 여호와께서 나를 변호해 주실 것이며 내가 한 일에 대해서 상을 주실 것이다.
  5. 여호와께서 흩어진 자기 백성을 돌아오게 하시려고 내가 태어나기도 전에 나를 택하여 자기 종으로 삼으시며 나를 존귀하게 하셨으니 나의 하나님이 내 힘이 되셨다.
  1. Listen to Me, O islands, And pay attention, you peoples from afar The LORD called Me from the womb; From the body of My mother He named Me.
  2. He has made My mouth like a sharp sword, In the shadow of His hand He has concealed Me; And He has also made Me a select arrow, He has hidden Me in His quiver.
  3. He said to Me, "You are My Servant, Israel, In Whom I will show My glory."
  4. But I said, "I have toiled in vain, I have spent My strength for nothing and vanity; Yet surely the justice due to Me is with the LORD, And My reward with My God."
  5. And now says the LORD, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, To bring Jacob back to Him, so that Israel might be gathered to Him (For I am honored in the sight of the LORD, And My God is My strength),
  1. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '내 종아, 네가 야곱의 지파들을 일으키고 살아 남은 이스라엘 백성을 회복시킬 것이지만 너에게는 이보다 더 큰 과업이 있다. 내가 너를 이방 민족의 빛이 되게 하여 온 세상에 내 구원을 베풀도록 하겠다.'
  2. 이스라엘의 구원자가 되시는 거룩하신 하나님이 사람들의 멸시와 미움을 받고 통치자들의 종이 된 자에게 말씀하신다. '왕들이 너를 보고 일어설 것이며 대신들이 너를 보고 엎드려 절할 것이니 이것은 신실하고 거룩한 이스라엘의 하나님 나 여호와가 너를 택하였기 때문이다.'
  1. He says, "It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also make You a light of the nations So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth."
  2. Thus says the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel and its Holy One, To the despised One, To the One abhorred by the nation, To the Servant of rulers, "Kings will see and arise, Princes will also bow down, Because of the LORD who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel who has chosen You."
 
  이스라엘의 회복(49:8-49:26)    
 
  1. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '내가 은혜의 때에 너에게 응답하고 구원의 날에 너를 도와 주겠다. 내가 너를 보호하고 지키며 너를 통해서 백성들과 계약을 맺고 그 땅을 회복하여 황무지가 되었던 그 곳을 그들이 다시 소유하도록 할 것이다.
  2. 내가 사로잡힌 자들에게 나오라고 말할 것이며 흑암 가운데 있는 자들에게 자신을 나타내 보이라고 말할 것이다. 그들은 푸른 풀밭이나 산언덕에서 풀을 뜯어먹는 양과 같아서
  3. 굶주리거나 목마르지 않을 것이며 따가운 햇볕과 사막의 열풍이 그들을 해하지 못할 것이니 이것은 그들을 불쌍히 여기는 자가 그들을 이끌어내어 샘물 곁으로 인도할 것이기 때문이다.
  4. 내가 산들을 가로지르는 대로를 만들 것이니
  5. 내 백성이 동서남북 사방에서 몰려들 것이다.'
  1. Thus says the LORD, "In a favorable time I have answered You, And in a day of salvation I have helped You; And I will keep You and give You for a covenant of the people, To restore the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages;
  2. Saying to those who are bound, 'Go forth,' To those who are in darkness, 'Show yourselves ' Along the roads they will feed, And their pasture will be on all bare heights.
  3. "They will not hunger or thirst, Nor will the scorching heat or sun strike them down; For He who has compassion on them will lead them And will guide them to springs of water.
  4. "I will make all My mountains a road, And My highways will be raised up.
  5. "Behold, these will come from afar; And lo, these will come from the north and from the west, And these from the land of Sinim."
  1. 하늘아, 기쁨으로 외쳐라! 땅아, 즐거워하여라! 산들아, 노래하라! 여호와께서 자기 백성을 위로하셨으니 고난당하는 자들을 불쌍히 여기실 것이다.
  2. 그러나 예루살렘 사람들이 '여호와께서 우리를 버리시고 잊으셨다.' 하므로
  3. 여호와께서 대답하신다. '어떻게 여자가 젖 먹는 자식을 잊을 수 있으며 자기가 낳은 아들을 불쌍히 여기지 않을 수 있겠느냐? 어머니는 자기 자식을 잊을 수 있을는지 몰라도 나는 너희를 잊지 않을 것이다.
  4. 예루살렘아, 내가 너를 내 손바닥에 새겼으니 네 성벽이 항상 내 앞에 있다.
  5. 너를 재건할 사람들은 곧 돌아오고 너를 파괴한 자들은 곧 떠날 것이다.
  1. Shout for joy, O heavens! And rejoice, O earth! Break forth into joyful shouting, O mountains! For the LORD has comforted His people And will have compassion on His afflicted.
  2. But Zion said, "The LORD has forsaken me, And the Lord has forgotten me."
  3. "Can a woman forget her nursing child And have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.
  4. "Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.
  5. "Your builders hurry; Your destroyers and devastators Will depart from you.
  1. 눈을 들어 사방 살펴보아라. 네 백성들이 다 모여 너에게로 돌아오고 있다. 내가 분명히 말하지만 신부가 장식물을 몸에 차고 다니면서 자랑하듯 네가 네 백성을 자랑스럽게 여길 것이다.
  2. 네가 비록 파괴되어 황폐한 땅이 되었지만 이제는 네 백성을 수용하기에도 부족할 것이며 너를 삼킨 자들은 멀리 떠날 것이다.
  3. 포로 시대에 태어난 네 백성이 언젠가는 너에게 '이 곳은 우리가 살기에 너무 좁으니 보다 넓은 공간을 만들어 달라.'고 할 것이다.
  4. 그때 너는 속으로 이렇게 말할 것이다. '누가 나를 위해 이들을 낳았는가? 대부분의 내 자녀들은 죽임을 당하고 살아 남은 자들은 포로로 끌려갔으며 이 곳에는 아무도 없이 나 혼자만 남았는데 도대체 누가 이 많은 사람들을 낳아 양육하였으며 이들은 다 어디서 왔는가?
  5. 주 여호와께서 시온을 향하여 말씀하신다. '내가 이방 민족들에게 기를 세워 신호하면 그들이 네 아들들을 품에 안고 네 딸들을 어깨에 메고 올 것이며
  1. "Lift up your eyes and look around; All of them gather together, they come to you As I live," declares the LORD, "You will surely put on all of them as jewels and bind them on as a bride.
  2. "For your waste and desolate places and your destroyed land-- Surely now you will be too cramped for the inhabitants, And those who swallowed you will be far away.
  3. "The children of whom you were bereaved will yet say in your ears, 'The place is too cramped for me; Make room for me that I may live here.'
  4. "Then you will say in your heart, 'Who has begotten these for me, Since I have been bereaved of my children And am barren, an exile and a wanderer? And who has reared these? Behold, I was left alone; From where did these come?'"
  5. Thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I will lift up My hand to the nations And set up My standard to the peoples; And they will bring your sons in their bosom, And your daughters will be carried on their shoulders.
  1. 왕들은 너에게 양아버지와 같고 왕비들은 너에게 유모와 같을 것이다. 그들이 얼굴을 땅에 대며 네 앞에 절하고 네 발의 티끌을 핥을 것이니 그때 너는 내가 여호와임을 알 것이다. 내 도움을 기다리는 자는 수치를 당하지 않을 것이다.'
  2. 용사가 약탈한 것을 어떻게 뺏을 수 있으며 사로잡힌 자를 어떻게 폭군에게서 구출할 수 있느냐?
  3. 그러나 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '용사에게 사로잡힌 자도 다시 뺏을 것이며 폭군의 약탈물도 되찾을 것이다. 이것은 내가 너를 대적하는 자와 싸워 네 자녀들을 구출할 것이기 때문이다.
  4. 내가 너를 괴롭히는 원수들에게 자기들의 살을 먹고 자기들의 피에 취하게 할 것이다. 그러면 온 인류가 나 여호와는 너를 구원하는 이스라엘의 전능한 하나님인 것을 알게 될 것이다.'
  1. "Kings will be your guardians, And their princesses your nurses They will bow down to you with their faces to the earth And lick the dust of your feet; And you will know that I am the LORD; Those who hopefully wait for Me will not be put to shame.
  2. "Can the prey be taken from the mighty man, Or the captives of a tyrant be rescued?"
  3. Surely, thus says the LORD, "Even the captives of the mighty man will be taken away, And the prey of the tyrant will be rescued; For I will contend with the one who contends with you, And I will save your sons.
  4. "I will feed your oppressors with their own flesh, And they will become drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine; And all flesh will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob."
 
  종의 순종(50:1-50:11)    
 
  1. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '남자가 자기 아내를 내쫓듯이 내가 너희를 쫓아내었느냐? 그렇다면 그 이혼 증서는 어디 있느냐? 너희는 사람이 자기 자녀를 종으로 팔듯이 내가 너희를 팔았다고 생각하느냐? 아니다. 너희는 너희 죄와 허물 때문에 팔려 포로로 잡혀갔다
  2. 내가 네 백성을 구원하려고 찾아 왔어도 반응을 보이는 자가 아무도 없었다. 내가 불러도 어째서 그들은 대답하지 않는가? 내가 힘이 부족하고 능력이 없어서 그들을 구원하지 못하겠느냐? 내 명령 한 마디면 바다가 마르고 강이 사막이 되어 물이 없으므로 고기들이 죽어 악취가 난다
  3. 그리고 나는 하늘을 온통 흑암으로 덮어 버릴 수도 있다.'
  4. 주 여호와께서 나에게 할 말을 가르치셔서 피곤한 자를 격려하고 도와줄 수 있게 하시며 아침마다 나를 깨우치셔서 그의 가르치심을 알아듣게 하시는구나.
  5. 여호와께서 나에게 깨닫는 마음을 주셨으므로 나는 거역하거나 뒤로 물러가지 않았으며
  1. Thus says the LORD, "Where is the certificate of divorce By which I have sent your mother away? Or to whom of My creditors did I sell you? Behold, you were sold for your iniquities, And for your transgressions your mother was sent away.
  2. "Why was there no man when I came? When I called, why was there none to answer? Is My hand so short that it cannot ransom? Or have I no power to deliver? Behold, I dry up the sea with My rebuke, I make the rivers a wilderness; Their fish stink for lack of water And die of thirst.
  3. "I clothe the heavens with blackness And make sackcloth their covering."
  4. The Lord GOD has given Me the tongue of disciples, That I may know how to sustain the weary one with a word He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple.
  5. The Lord GOD has opened My ear; And I was not disobedient Nor did I turn back.
  1. 나를 때리는 자들에게 내 등을 맡기고 내 수염을 뽑는 자들에게 내 뺨을 맡기며 그들이 침을 뱉고 모욕할 때에도 내가 얼굴을 가리지 않았다.
  2. 주 여호와께서 나를 도우시므로 내가 당황하지 않을 것이며 내가 얼굴을 부싯돌처럼 굳게 하였으니 수치를 당하지 않을 줄로 안다
  3. 나를 변호하시는 분이 가까이 계시는데 누가 감히 나와 다툴 수 있겠는가? 내 고소자가 누구냐? 함께 법정으로 가서 맞서 보자.
  4. 주 여호와께서 나를 도우시는데 나를 죄인으로 단정할 자가 누구냐? 나의 모든 원수들은 좀먹은 옷처럼 해어져 없어질 것이다.
  5. 너희 중에 여호와를 두려운 마음으로 섬기며 그 종의 말에 순종하는 자가 누구냐? 빛 없이 흑암 가운데 사는 자들도 여호와를 신뢰하며 자기 하나님을 의지하게 하라.
  1. I gave My back to those who strike Me, And My cheeks to those who pluck out the beard; I did not cover My face from humiliation and spitting.
  2. For the Lord GOD helps Me, Therefore, I am not disgraced; Therefore, I have set My face like flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed.
  3. He who vindicates Me is near; Who will contend with Me? Let us stand up to each other; Who has a case against Me? Let him draw near to Me.
  4. Behold, the Lord GOD helps Me; Who is he who condemns Me? Behold, they will all wear out like a garment; The moth will eat them.
  5. Who is among you that fears the LORD, That obeys the voice of His servant, That walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD and rely on his God.
  1. 다른 사람을 해치려고 하는 자들아, 너희는 너희 꾀에 스스로 망할 것이니 너희가 여호와의 형벌을 받아 고통을 당할 것이다.
  1. Behold, all you who kindle a fire, Who encircle yourselves with firebrands, Walk in the light of your fire And among the brands you have set ablaze This you will have from My hand: You will lie down in torment.
