이사야 53:1-55:13

 이사야는 인간의 죄악을 대속하기 위하여 고난받게 될 메시아에 대해 예언하였는데, 이 고난은 세상 구원을 원하시는 하나님의 뜻을 이루기 위함이었다. 하나님께서는 이스라엘을 회복시켜 영광스럽게 하실 것을 약속하셨다. 구원의 하나님께서는 포로 생활로 지친 이스라엘뿐만 아니라 온 세상 만민을 구원의 길로 돌이키도록 초청하셨다.
  
  메시아의 고난(53:1-53:12)    
 
  1. 우리가 전한 것을 누가 믿었으며 여호와의 능력이 누구에게 나타났는가?
  2. 그는 연한 순처럼, 마른 땅에서 나온 줄기처럼 주 앞에서 자랐으니 그에게는 풍채나 위엄이 없고 우리의 시선을 끌 만한 매력이나 아름다움도 없다.
  3. 그는 사람들에게 멸시와 천대를 받고 슬픔과 고통을 당하는 사람이 되었으니 사람들이 그를 외면하고 우리도 그를 귀하게 여기지 않았다.
  4. 그는 우리의 질병을 지고 우리를 대신하여 슬픔을 당하였으나 우리는 그가 하나님의 형벌을 받아 고난을 당하는 것으로 생각하였다.
  5. 그가 우리의 죄 때문에 찔림을 당하고 상처를 입었으니 그가 징계를 받음으로 우리가 평화를 누리게 되었고 그가 채찍에 맞음으로 우리가 고침을 받았다.
  1. Who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
  2. For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, And like a root out of parched ground; He has no stately form or majesty That we should look upon Him, Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him.
  3. He was despised and forsaken of men, A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; And like one from whom men hide their face He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
  4. Surely our griefs He Himself bore, And our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted.
  5. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed.
  1. 우리는 다 길 잃은 양처럼 제각기 잘못된 길로 갔으나 여호와께서는 우리 모든 사람의 죄를 그에게 담당시키셨다.
  2. 그가 곤욕을 당하면서도 침묵을 지켰으니 도살장으로 끌려가는 어린 양과 털 깎는 사람 앞에서 잠잠한 양처럼 그의 입을 열지 않았다.
  3. 그가 체포되어 심문을 당하고 끌려갔으나 그 세대 사람들 중에 그가 죽임을 당하게 된 것이 자기들의 죄 때문이라고 누가 생각했겠는가?
  4. 그는 범죄하거나 거짓말을 한 적이 없었으나 악인들처럼 죽임을 당하여 부자의 묘실에 묻혔다.
  5. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '그가 상처를 입고 고통을 당한 것은 내 뜻이었다. 그가 죄를 속하는 희생제물이 되면 그는 자손을 보게 될 것이며 그의 날이 장구할 것이니 그를 통해 내 뜻이 성취될 것이다.
  1. All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him.
  2. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He did not open His mouth; Like a lamb that is led to slaughter, And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers, So He did not open His mouth.
  3. By oppression and judgment He was taken away; And as for His generation, who considered That He was cut off out of the land of the living For the transgression of my people, to whom the stroke was due?
  4. His grave was assigned with wicked men, Yet He was with a rich man in His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was there any deceit in His mouth.
  5. But the LORD was pleased To crush Him, putting Him to grief; If He would render Himself as a guilt offering, He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, And the good pleasure of the LORD will prosper in His hand.
  1. 그는 자기 영혼이 고통을 당해 얻어진 결과를 보고 만족스럽게 여길 것이다. 나의 의로운 종은 자기 지식으로 많은 사람을 의롭게 하며 그들의 죄를 담당할 것이다.
  2. 그러므로 내가 강하고 위대한 자들의 영예를 그에게 주겠다. 그는 기꺼이 자기 생명을 바쳐 범죄자처럼 되었으며 많은 사람들의 죄를 짊어지고 그들이 용서받도록 기도하였다.'
  1. As a result of the anguish of His soul, He will see it and be satisfied; By His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many, As He will bear their iniquities.
  2. Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, And He will divide the booty with the strong; Because He poured out Himself to death, And was numbered with the transgressors; Yet He Himself bore the sin of many, And interceded for the transgressors.
 
  시온의 영광(54:1-54:17)    
 
  1. 아기를 낳지 못하는 여자여, 노래하여라. 해산의 고통을 모르는 여자여, 노래하며 기쁨으로 외쳐라. 홀로 사는 여자의 자녀가 남편 있는 여자의 자녀보다 더 많을 것이다.
  2. 너는 천막 칠 곳을 확장하고 넓혀라.
  3. 네가 좌우로 퍼져나갈 것이며 네 자손들은 이방 민족들을 쫓아내고 그들의 황폐한 땅에 살게 될 것이다.
  4. 너는 두려워하지 말아라. 네가 다시는 수치를 당하지 않을 것이다. 놀라지 말아라. 네가 수모를 당하지 않을 것이다. 너는 젊었을 때의 수치를 잊을 것이며 과부 시절의 슬픔을 기억하지 않게 될 것이다.
  5. 너의 창조자는 너에게 남편과 같은 분이시니 그의 이름은 전능하신 여호와이시다. 너를 구원하실 분은 온 세상의 하나님이 되시는 이스라엘의 거룩하신 분이시다.
  1. "Shout for joy, O barren one, you who have borne no child; Break forth into joyful shouting and cry aloud, you who have not travailed; For the sons of the desolate one will be more numerous Than the sons of the married woman," says the LORD.
  2. "Enlarge the place of your tent; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not; Lengthen your cords And strengthen your pegs.
  3. "For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left And your descendants will possess nations And will resettle the desolate cities.
  4. "Fear not, for you will not be put to shame; And do not feel humiliated, for you will not be disgraced; But you will forget the shame of your youth, And the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more.
  5. "For your husband is your Maker, Whose name is the LORD of hosts; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, Who is called the God of all the earth.
  1. 젊어서 결혼하여 남편에게 버림을 받아 마음에 근심하는 아내를 다시 맞이하듯 여호와께서 너를 다시 부르시고 말씀하신다.
  2. 내가 잠시 너를 버렸으나 큰 사랑으로 다시 너를 맞이하겠다.
  3. 내가 잠시 분노하여 너를 외면했으나 영원한 자비로 너를 불쌍히 여기겠다. 이것은 너의 구원자 나 여호와의 말이다.
  4. 내가 노아 때에 다시는 홍수로 세상을 멸망시키지 않겠다고 맹세할 것처럼 다시는 너에게 분노하거나 너를 책망하지 않기로 맹세하였다.
  5. 산은 움직여 없어질지라도 너에 대한 나의 한결같은 사랑은 변하지 않을 것이며 평화에 대한 내 약속은 취소되지 않을 것이다. 이것은 너를 불쌍히 여기는 나 여호와의 말이다.'
  1. "For the LORD has called you, Like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, Even like a wife of one's youth when she is rejected," Says your God.
  2. "For a brief moment I forsook you, But with great compassion I will gather you.
  3. "In an outburst of anger I hid My face from you for a moment, But with everlasting lovingkindness I will have compassion on you," Says the LORD your Redeemer.
  4. "For this is like the days of Noah to Me, When I swore that the waters of Noah Would not flood the earth again; So I have sworn that I will not be angry with you Nor will I rebuke you.
  5. "For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, But My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, And My covenant of peace will not be shaken," Says the LORD who has compassion on you.
  1. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '광풍에 밀려 고통을 당하면서도 위로를 받지 못하는 예루살렘아, 내가 보석으로 네 기초를 다시 쌓고
  2. 홍옥으로 네 탑을 세우며 네 성문과 성벽을 빛나는 보석으로 꾸밀 것이다.
  3. 내가 직접 네 백성들을 가르칠 것이며 그들에게 번영과 평화를 줄 것이니
  4. 네가 의로 굳게 설 것이다. 네 원수들이 멀리 물러갈 것이므로 네가 두려워하지 않을 것이며 공포도 너를 가까이하지 못할 것이다.
  5. 누가 너를 칠지라도 내가 승낙한 것이 아니므로 너와 싸우는 자마다 패망할 것이다.
  1. "O afflicted one, storm-tossed, and not comforted, Behold, I will set your stones in antimony, And your foundations I will lay in sapphires.
  2. "Moreover, I will make your battlements of rubies, And your gates of crystal, And your entire wall of precious stones.
  3. "All your sons will be taught of the LORD; And the well-being of your sons will be great.
  4. "In righteousness you will be established; You will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; And from terror, for it will not come near you.
  5. "If anyone fiercely assails you it will not be from Me. Whoever assails you will fall because of you.
  1. 숯불을 피워 무기를 만드는 대장장이도 내가 창조하였고 그 무기를 사용하여 사람을 죽이는 군인도 내가 창조하였다.
  2. 그러므로 그 어떤 무기도 너를 해치지 못할 것이며 그 어떤 사람이 너를 비난하여도 너는 반박할 수 있을 것이다. 이것은 내가 내 종들을 변호하고 그들에게 승리를 주기 때문이다. 이것은 나 여호와의 말이다.'
  1. "Behold, I Myself have created the smith who blows the fire of coals And brings out a weapon for its work; And I have created the destroyer to ruin.
  2. "No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their vindication is from Me," declares the LORD.
 
  구원에의 초청(55:1-55:13)    
 
  1. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '너희 목마른 자들아, 다 물로 나아오라 돈 없는 자도 와서 포도주와 우유를 거저 마셔라.
  2. 너희가 어째서 양식이 아닌 것을 위해 돈을 쓰며 만족을 주지 못하는 것을 위해 수고하느냐? 너희는 내 말에 귀를 기울여라. 그러면 너희가 좋은 것을 먹을 것이며 너희 영혼이 만족을 누릴 것이다.
  3. 너희는 나에게 나아와 귀를 기울이고 들어라. 그러면 너희 영혼이 살게 될 것이다. 내가 너희와 영원한 계약을 맺고 다윗에게 약속한 은혜의 축복을 너희에게 내려 주겠다.
  4. 내가 그를 모든 민족에게 증인으로 세웠으며 그를 만민의 지도자와 명령자로 삼고 그에게 이렇게 말하였다.
  5. 네가 외국 나라들을 부를 것이니 너를 알지 못하는 나라들이 너에게 달려올 것이다. 이것은 너의 하나님 나 여호와 이스라엘의 거룩한 자가 너를 영화롭게 하였기 때문이다.'
  1. "Ho! Every one who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy and eat Come, buy wine and milk Without money and without cost.
  2. "Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And delight yourself in abundance.
  3. "Incline your ear and come to Me Listen, that you may live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you, According to the faithful mercies shown to David.
  4. "Behold, I have made him a witness to the peoples, A leader and commander for the peoples.
  5. "Behold, you will call a nation you do not know, And a nation which knows you not will run to you, Because of the LORD your God, even the Holy One of Israel; For He has glorified you."
  1. 너희는 여호와를 만날 수 있을 때에 찾아라. 가까이 계실 때에 그를 불러라.
  2. 악인은 악한 길을 버리며 잘못된 생각을 바꾸고 우리 하나님 여호와께 돌아오라. 그러면 그가 불쌍히 여기시고 너그럽게 용서하실 것이다.
  3. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '내 생각은 너희 생각과 다르며 내 길은 너희 길과 달라서
  4. 하늘이 땅보다 높은 것같이 내 길은 너희 길보다 높고 내 생각은 너희 생각보다 높다.
  5. 비와 눈이 하늘에서 내리면 다시 그리로 돌아가지 않고 땅을 적셔 싹이 나게 하며 열매가 맺히게 하여 파종할 씨앗과 먹을 양식을 주듯이
  1. Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near.
  2. Let the wicked forsake his way And the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to the LORD, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
  3. "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," declares the LORD.
  4. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.
  5. "For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater;
  1. 내 입에서 나가는 말도 나에게 헛되이 돌아오지 않고 내 뜻을 이루며 내가 의도한 목적을 성취할 것이다.
  2. 너희가 기쁨과 평안 가운데서 살게 될 것이며 산들이 너희 앞에서 노래를 부르고 들의 모든 나무들이 손뼉을 칠 것이며
  3. 가시나무가 있는 곳에 잣나무가 자라고 찔레 대신에 도금양이 자랄 것이다. 이것이 나 여호와가 행한 일을 상기시켜 주는 영원한 표적이 될 것이다.'
  1. So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
  2. "For you will go out with joy And be led forth with peace; The mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, And all the trees of the field will clap their hands.
  3. "Instead of the thorn bush the cypress will come up, And instead of the nettle the myrtle will come up, And it will be a memorial to the LORD, For an everlasting sign which will not be cut off."
 
  과부 때의 치욕( 54:4)  여기서는 바벨론에서의 포로 생활을 의미함
