에스겔 24:1-26:21

 하나님께서는 끓는 가마의 비유와 에스겔이 아내의 죽음을 애통해 하지 못하게 하는 표징을 통해 임박한 예루살렘의 멸망에 대해 예고하셨다. 또한 이스라엘 주변의 이방 민족인 암몬, 모압, 에돔, 블레셋, 두로의 멸망을 선포하셨으며, 그 원인은 그들이 이스라엘을 멸시하고 침공했으며 이스라엘의 멸망을 기뻐하고 조롱했기 때문이라고 하셨다.
  
  끓는 가마 비유(24:1-24:14)    
 
  1. 우리가 포로 되어 온 지 9년째가 되는 해 10월 10일에 여호와께서 나에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. '사람의 아들아, 너는 오늘 날짜를 기록하라. 오늘은 바빌로니아 왕이 예루살렘을 포위한 날이다.
  3. 너는 거역하는 이 백성들에게 비유를 들어 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다고 전하라. '너희는 가마 하나를 걸고 거기에 물을 붓고
  4. 양떼 중에서 제일 좋은 것을 잡아 고기의 제일 좋은 부분인 넓적다리와 어깻죽지를 가마에 넣고 뼈 중에서 제일 좋은 것을 골라 그 가마에 가득 채워라. 그리고 가마 밑에 나무를 쌓고 물을 펄펄 끓여 뼈가 물렁물렁할 때까지 삶아라.
  5. (4절과 같음)
  1. And the word of the LORD came to me in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth of the month, saying,
  2. "Son of man, write the name of the day, this very day. The king of Babylon has laid siege to Jerusalem this very day.
  3. "Speak a parable to the rebellious house and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Put on the pot, put it on and also pour water in it;
  4. Put in it the pieces, Every good piece, the thigh and the shoulder; Fill it with choice bones.
  5. "Take the choicest of the flock, And also pile wood under the pot. Make it boil vigorously. Also seethe its bones in it."
  1. 나 주 여호와가 말한다. 살인자들의 도시 예루살렘아, 너는 녹이 슬었으나 그 녹을 제거하지 않은 가마와 같구나. 너에게 화가 있을 것이니 너는 순서를 가리지 말고 그 속에 있는 것을 하나하나 끄집어내어라.
  2. 성 안에 살인이 있었으나 그 피가 땅에 떨어져 티끌로 덮이지 않고 아무것도 덮여 있지 않은 바위 위에 떨어졌다.
  3. 내가 그 피를 바위 위에 그대로 두어 덮이지 않게 한 것은 내가 분노하여 보복하기 위해서이다.
  4. 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 말한다. 살인자들의 도시 예루살렘에 화가 있을 것이다. 내가 그 장작더미를 더 높이 쌓고
  5. 불을 피워 그 고기를 삶고 국물을 졸이고 뼈를 태운 다음
  1. 'Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, "Woe to the bloody city, To the pot in which there is rust And whose rust has not gone out of it! Take out of it piece after piece, Without making a choice.
  2. "For her blood is in her midst; She placed it on the bare rock; She did not pour it on the ground To cover it with dust.
  3. "That it may cause wrath to come up to take vengeance, I have put her blood on the bare rock, That it may not be covered."
  4. 'Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, "Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
  5. "Heap on the wood, kindle the fire, Boil the flesh well And mix in the spices, And let the bones be burned.
  1. 빈 가마를 숯불 위에 얹어 놓고 쇠를 달구어 그 속에 불순물이 녹게 하며 찌꺼기가 다 타서 없어지게 하겠다.
  2. 내가 이 성의 불순물을 제거하려고 애썼으나 그 속에 있는 녹이 벗겨지지 않고 불에서도 제거되지 않았다.
  3. 예루살렘아, 너의 음란한 행위가 너를 더럽혔다. 내가 너를 깨끗하게 하려고 하였으나 네가 깨끗해지지 않았다. 내가 너에게 분풀이를 하기 전에는 네 더러움이 깨끗해지지 않을 것이다.
  4. 나 주 여호와가 말하였으니 이제 내가 행할 때가 되었다. 내가 마음을 돌이키지 않고 너를 불쌍히 여기지 않으며 뉘우치지도 않을 것이니 네가 행한 대로 심판을 받을 것이다. 이것은 나 주 여호와의 말이다.'
  1. "Then set it empty on its coals So that it may be hot And its bronze may glow And its filthiness may be melted in it, Its rust consumed.
  2. "She has wearied Me with toil, Yet her great rust has not gone from her; Let her rust be in the fire!
  3. "In your filthiness is lewdness. Because I would have cleansed you, Yet you are not clean, You will not be cleansed from your filthiness again Until I have spent My wrath on you.
  4. "I, the LORD, have spoken; it is coming and I will act I will not relent, and I will not pity and I will not be sorry; according to your ways and according to your deeds I will judge you," declares the Lord GOD.'"
 
  멸망 예언(24:15-24:27)    
 
  1. 여호와께서 또 나에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. '사람의 아들아, 네가 가장 사랑하는 사람을 내가 단번에 쳐서 빼앗아 가겠다. 너는 슬퍼하거나 울거나 눈물을 흘리지 말고
  3. 말없이 탄식하여라. 죽은 사람을 위해 슬퍼하지 말고 두건을 머리에 꼭 붙들어 매고 신발을 신고 입술을 가리지 말며 조객들이 먹는 음식을 먹지 말아라.'
  4. 그래서 내가 아침에 그런 이야기를 사람들에게 말해 주었는데 그 날 저녁에 내 아내가 죽었다. 그 다음 날 아침에 내가 명령을 받은 대로 하자
  5. 사람들이 나에게 물었다. '당신은 어째서 이렇게 하시오? 당신이 우리에게 말하려고 하는 것이 무엇이오?'
  1. And the word of the LORD came to me saying,
  2. "Son of man, behold, I am about to take from you the desire of your eyes with a blow; but you shall not mourn and you shall not weep, and your tears shall not come.
  3. "Groan silently; make no mourning for the dead Bind on your turban and put your shoes on your feet, and do not cover your mustache and do not eat the bread of men."
  4. So I spoke to the people in the morning, and in the evening my wife died. And in the morning I did as I was commanded.
  5. The people said to me, "Will you not tell us what these things that you are doing mean for us?"
  1. 그때 내가 그들에게 대답하였다. '여호와께서는 이스라엘 백성에게 이렇게 전하라고 나에게 말씀하셨습니다. '내가 너희 힘의 자랑이요 너희 눈의 기쁨이며 너희 마음에 사랑의 대상인 내 성전을 더럽힐 것이니 예루살렘이 남아 있는 너희 자녀들이 전쟁에서 죽임을 당할 것이다.
  2. (20절과 같음)
  3. 너희는 에스겔이 행한 대로 입술을 가리지 않고 초상집 음식을 먹지 않으며
  4. 두건으로 머리를 싸매고 신발을 신은 채 슬퍼하지도 않고 울지도 않을 것이다. 그러나 너희는 너희 죄 때문에 쇠잔할 것이며 서로 바라보고 탄식할 것이다.
  5. 이와 같이 에스겔이 너희에게 하나의 표징이 될 것이며 너희는 그가 행하는 대로 할 것이다. 이런 일이 일어나면 너희는 내가 주 여호와임을 알게 될 것이다.'
  1. Then I said to them, "The word of the LORD came to me saying,
  2. 'Speak to the house of Israel, "Thus says the Lord GOD, 'Behold, I am about to profane My sanctuary, the pride of your power, the desire of your eyes and the delight of your soul; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left behind will fall by the sword.
  3. 'You will do as I have done; you will not cover your mustache and you will not eat the bread of men.
  4. 'Your turbans will be on your heads and your shoes on your feet. You will not mourn and you will not weep, but you will rot away in your iniquities and you will groan to one another.
  5. 'Thus Ezekiel will be a sign to you; according to all that he has done you will do; when it comes, then you will know that I am the Lord GOD.'"
  1. 여호와께서 나에게 말씀하셨다. '사람의 아들아, 내가 그들의 힘과 자랑과 마음의 기쁨인 성전과 그들의 자녀를 없애는 그 날에
  2. 도망쳐 나온 자가 너에게 와서 그 소식을 전할 것이다.
  3. 그때 네 입이 열려 그와 말하게 될 것이며 다시는 네가 침묵을 지키지 않을 것이다. 이처럼 너는 그들에게 표징이 될 것이며 그들은 내가 여호와임을 알게 될 것이다.'
  1. 'As for you, son of man, will it not be on the day when I take from them their stronghold, the joy of their pride, the desire of their eyes and their heart's delight, their sons and their daughters,
  2. that on that day he who escapes will come to you with information for your ears?
  3. 'On that day your mouth will be opened to him who escaped, and you will speak and be mute no longer. Thus you will be a sign to them, and they will know that I am the LORD.'"
 
  열방에 대한 심판 예언(25:1-26:21)    
 
  1. 여호와께서 나에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. '사람의 아들아, 너는 암몬 사람들을 향해 예언하라.
  3. 너는 그들에게 내가 이렇게 말한다고 일러 주어라. '너희는 나 주 여호와의 말을 들어라. 너희는 내 성전이 더럽혀지고 이스라엘 땅이 황폐해지며 유다 백성이 포로로 잡혀가는 것을 보고 기뻐하였다.
  4. 그러므로 내가 너희를 동방 사람들에게 넘겨 주겠다. 그들이 너희 땅에 천막을 치고 거처를 정하여 너희 과일과 우유를 먹을 것이다.
  5. 내가 랍바성을 낙타의 목초지로 만들고 암몬 사람의 땅을 양떼의 휴식처로 만들 것이니 너희가 나를 여호와인 줄 알 것이다.
  1. And the word of the LORD came to me saying,
  2. "Son of man, set your face toward the sons of Ammon and prophesy against them,
  3. and say to the sons of Ammon, 'Hear the word of the Lord GOD! Thus says the Lord GOD, "Because you said, 'Aha!' against My sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into exile,
  4. therefore, behold, I am going to give you to the sons of the east for a possession, and they will set their encampments among you and make their dwellings among you; they will eat your fruit and drink your milk.
  5. "I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels and the sons of Ammon a resting place for flocks. Thus you will know that I am the LORD."
  1. 나 주 여호와가 말한다. 너희는 이스라엘이 망하는 것을 보고 손뼉을 치고 발을 구르며 조소하는 마음으로 기뻐하였다.
  2. 그러므로 내가 손을 펴서 너희를 치고 너희를 다른 민족에게 넘겨 주어 그들이 너희를 약탈하게 하겠다. 내가 너희를 멸망시켜 너희 나라를 지상에서 없애 버리면 너희가 나를 여호와인줄 알 것이다.'
  3. 주 여호와께서 다시 말씀하셨다. '모압과 세일이 유다도 다른 모든 이방 나라와 마찬가지라고 말하고 있다.
  4. 그러므로 내가 모압의 국경을 지키는 아름다운 성 벧-여시못과 바알-므온과 기랴다임이 공격을 받게 하겠다.
  5. 내가 암몬과 함께 모압을 동방 사람들에게 넘겨주어 그들의 소유가 되게 할 것이니 모압이 세상에서 다시는 기억되지 않을 것이다.
  1. 'For thus says the Lord GOD, "Because you have clapped your hands and stamped your feet and rejoiced with all the scorn of your soul against the land of Israel,
  2. therefore, behold, I have stretched out My hand against you and I will give you for spoil to the nations And I will cut you off from the peoples and make you perish from the lands; I will destroy you Thus you will know that I am the LORD."
  3. 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Because Moab and Seir say, 'Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations,'
  4. therefore, behold, I am going to deprive the flank of Moab of its cities, of its cities which are on its frontiers, the glory of the land, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon and Kiriathaim,
  5. and I will give it for a possession along with the sons of Ammon to the sons of the east, so that the sons of Ammon will not be remembered among the nations.
  1. 내가 모압을 벌하면 그들이 나를 여호와인 줄 알 것이다.'
  2. '나 주 여호와가 말한다. 에돔이 유다를 쳐서 원수를 갚았으나 에돔은 그것 때문에 크게 범죄하였다.
  3. 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 말한다. 내가 손을 펴고 에돔을 쳐서 사람과 짐승을 죽이고 그 땅을 황폐하게 하겠다. 데만에서부터 드단까지 사람들이 칼날에 쓰러질 것이다.
  4. 내가 내 백성 이스라엘 사람들의 손으로 에돔에게 원수를 갚겠다. 그들이 에돔에게 내 대신 분풀이할 것이니 에돔은 내가 보복하는 줄을 알게 될 것이다. 이것은 나 주 여호와의 말이다.'
  5. 나 주 여호와가 말한다. 블레셋 사람들이 옛날부터 복수하고자 앙심을 품고 악의와 적대감으로 유다를 멸망시키려고 하였다.
  1. "Thus I will execute judgments on Moab, and they will know that I am the LORD."
  2. 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Because Edom has acted against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has incurred grievous guilt, and avenged themselves upon them,"
  3. therefore thus says the Lord GOD, "I will also stretch out My hand against Edom and cut off man and beast from it And I will lay it waste; from Teman even to Dedan they will fall by the sword.
  4. "I will lay My vengeance on Edom by the hand of My people Israel Therefore, they will act in Edom according to My anger and according to My wrath; thus they will know My vengeance," declares the Lord GOD.
  5. 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Because the Philistines have acted in revenge and have taken vengeance with scorn of soul to destroy with everlasting enmity,"
  1. 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 말한다. 내가 손을 펴서 블레셋 사람을 치고 그렛 사람을 쓸어 버리며 해변에 남아 있는 자들을 모조리 죽여 버리겠다.
  2. 내가 그들을 호되게 벌하고 크게 보복하여 내 분풀이를 하면 그제서야 그들이 나를 여호와인 줄 알 것이다.'
  1. therefore thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I will stretch out My hand against the Philistines, even cut off the Cherethites and destroy the remnant of the seacoast.
  2. "I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes; and they will know that I am the LORD when I lay My vengeance on them."'"
 
 
  1. 우리가 포로 되어 온 지 11년째가 되는 해 어느 달 1일에 여호와께서 나에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. '사람의 아들아, 두로가 예루살렘에 대하여 '만민의 문과 같은 예루살렘이 박살나고 황폐해졌으니 내가 번영을 누리게 되었다.' 하는구나.
  3. 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 말한다. 두로야, 내가 너를 대적하여 많은 나라가 너를 치게 하겠다. 그들이 바다의 파도처럼 밀려와서
  4. 네 성벽을 파괴하고 너의 망대를 헐 것이다. 내가 네게서 부스러기를 쓸어 버려 너를 아무것도 없는 바위로 만들 것이니
  5. 네가 바다 가운데 솟아올라 어부들이 그물 말리는 곳이 될 것이다. 나 주 여호와가 말하였다. 많은 나라들이 너를 약탈할 것이며
  1. Now in the eleventh year, on the first of the month, the word of the LORD came to me saying,
  2. "Son of man, because Tyre has said concerning Jerusalem, 'Aha, the gateway of the peoples is broken; it has opened to me. I shall be filled, now that she is laid waste,'
  3. therefore thus says the Lord GOD, 'Behold, I am against you, O Tyre, and I will bring up many nations against you, as the sea brings up its waves.
  4. 'They will destroy the walls of Tyre and break down her towers; and I will scrape her debris from her and make her a bare rock.
  5. 'She will be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea, for I have spoken,' declares the Lord GOD, 'and she will become spoil for the nations.
  1. 너의 본토에 사는 자들이 칼날에 죽임을 당할 것이다. 그때 너는 내가 여호와임을 알게 될 것이다.
  2. 나 주 여호와가 말한다. 내가 온 세상의 왕인 바빌로니아의 느부갓네살왕을 이끌어내어 너 두로를 치게 하겠다. 그가 북쪽에서 말과 전차와 기병대를 갖춘 대군을 이끌고 와서
  3. 너의 본토에 사는 자들을 칼로 죽일 것이며 또 너를 치려고 사다리를 세우며 토성을 쌓고 큰방패를 갖추고
  4. 공성퇴로 네 성벽을 치고 쇠망치로 네 망대를 허물 것이다.
  5. 그 말들이 일으키는 먼지가 너를 뒤덮을 것이며 그들이 너의 파괴된 성문으로 들어갈 때 말과 전차와 기병대가 지나가는 소리에 네 성벽이 진동할 것이다.
  1. 'Also her daughters who are on the mainland will be slain by the sword, and they will know that I am the LORD.'"
  2. For thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I will bring upon Tyre from the north Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, with horses, chariots, cavalry and a great army.
  3. "He will slay your daughters on the mainland with the sword; and he will make siege walls against you, cast up a ramp against you and raise up a large shield against you.
  4. "The blow of his battering rams he will direct against your walls, and with his axes he will break down your towers.
  5. "Because of the multitude of his horses, the dust raised by them will cover you; your walls will shake at the noise of cavalry and wagons and chariots when he enters your gates as men enter a city that is breached.
  1. 그 말들이 너의 거리를 휩쓸고 지나갈 것이며 그들이 칼로 네 백성을 죽이고 너의 거대한 돌기둥을 땅에 넘어뜨리며
  2. 네 재물을 빼앗고 너희 상품을 약탈할 것이다. 그들은 또 네 성을 헐고 너의 좋은 집들을 무너뜨리고 너의 돌과 목재와 파괴된 모든 부스러기를 바다에 던질 것이다.
  3. 내가 너의 노래 소리를 그치게 하고 너의 수금 소리가 다시 들리지 않게 하며
  4. 너를 아무것도 없는 바위가 되게 하겠다. 네가 그물 말리는 곳이 되고 다시는 재건되지 못할 것이다. 나 주 여호와가 말하였다.'
  5. 주 여호와께서 두로에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다. '네가 무너질 때 해안 지방에 사는 사람들이 사상자들의 비명 소리를 듣고 공포에 떨지 않겠느냐?
  1. "With the hoofs of his horses he will trample all your streets He will slay your people with the sword; and your strong pillars will come down to the ground.
  2. "Also they will make a spoil of your riches and a prey of your merchandise, break down your walls and destroy your pleasant houses, and throw your stones and your timbers and your debris into the water.
  3. "So I will silence the sound of your songs, and the sound of your harps will be heard no more.
  4. "I will make you a bare rock; you will be a place for the spreading of nets. You will be built no more, for I the LORD have spoken," declares the Lord GOD.
  5. Thus says the Lord GOD to Tyre, "Shall not the coastlands shake at the sound of your fall when the wounded groan, when the slaughter occurs in your midst?
  1. 그 때에 섬 나라의 모든 왕들이 왕위에서 내려 앉아 그들의 왕복과 수놓은 옷을 벗어 버리고 땅에 주저앉아 네가 당한 일을 보고 떨 것이며
  2. 너를 위해 이런 애가를 부를 것이다. '항해자들이 살던 유명한 성이여, 너와 네 백성이 바다에서 막강하여 해변에 사는 모든 사람들을 떨게 하더니 네가 어떻게 하다가 망하였는가!
  3. 네가 무너지자 해안 지방이 진동하고 네가 망하자 바다의 섬들이 놀라는구나.'
  4. 나 주 여호와가 말한다. 내가 너를 주민이 없는 도시처럼 황폐한 성이 되게 하고 깊은 바닷물로 너를 덮어 버릴 것이다.
  5. 내가 너를 지옥 구덩이로 내려보내 옛날 사람들과 만나게 하고 죽은 자들과 함께 영원히 황폐한 하계에서 살게 하겠다. 네가 다시는 사람 사는 곳이 되지 못할 것이며 이 세상에서 네가 있을 곳을 얻지 못할 것이다.
  1. "Then all the princes of the sea will go down from their thrones, remove their robes and strip off their embroidered garments They will clothe themselves with trembling; they will sit on the ground, tremble every moment and be appalled at you.
  2. "They will take up a lamentation over you and say to you, 'How you have perished, O inhabited one, From the seas, O renowned city, Which was mighty on the sea, She and her inhabitants, Who imposed her terror On all her inhabitants!
  3. 'Now the coastlands will tremble On the day of your fall; Yes, the coastlands which are by the sea Will be terrified at your passing.'"
  4. For thus says the Lord GOD, "When I make you a desolate city, like the cities which are not inhabited, when I bring up the deep over you and the great waters cover you,
  5. then I will bring you down with those who go down to the pit, to the people of old, and I will make you dwell in the lower parts of the earth, like the ancient waste places, with those who go down to the pit, so that you will not be inhabited; but I will set glory in the land of the living.
  1. 내가 너를 패망하게 하여 네가 다시는 존재하지 않게 할 것이니 사람들이 너를 찾을지라도 만나지 못할 것이다.'
  1. "I will bring terrors on you and you will be no more; though you will be sought, you will never be found again," declares the Lord GOD.
 
  조복(朝服, 26:16)  왕의 의복  
  황적(荒寂, 26:20)  땅의 깊은 곳. 죽은 자들이 거주한다고 생각되는 ‘음부’를 말함
