요엘 2:18-3:21

 요엘은 회개한 자에게는 물질의 복을 풍성히 부어 주시고 환난에서 구원하여 평안을 누리게 해주신다는 하나님의 약속을 전하였다. 그리고 하나님의 신을 만민에게 부어 주실 것과 누구든지 야웨의 이름을 부르는 자를 구원해 주시겠다는 하나님의 약속을 전하였다. 또한 그는 하나님과 이스라엘을 대적했던 열국이 심판을 받게 되며 이스라엘은 최후의 승리와 영원한 축복을 얻게 될 것이라고 예언하였다.
  
  축복과 승리의 약속(2:18-3:21)    
 
  1. 그때 여호와께서 자기 땅에 대하여 관심을 보이시고 자기 백성을 불쌍히 여기시며
  2. 그들에게 이렇게 대답하실 것이다. '내가 너희에게 곡식과 새 포도주와 기름을 주어 너희를 흡족하게 하고 다시는 너희가 이방 나라의 멸시를 당하지 않게 하겠다.
  3. 내가 북쪽 군대를 너희에게서 멀리 추방하여 메마르고 황폐한 땅으로 몰아내겠다. 그 전군은 사해로 들어가고 그 후군은 지중해로 들어갈 것이다. 그래서 악취가 나고 상한 냄새가 올라올 것이다. 이것은 내가 너희를 위해 큰 기적을 행하였기 때문이다.'
  4. 땅이여, 두려워하지 말고 기뻐하며 즐거워하라. 여호와께서 큰 일을 행하셨다.
  5. 들짐승들아, 두려워하지 말아라. 메마른 들판이 다시 푸르게 되고 나무가 열매를 맺으며 무화과나무와 포도나무가 다시 무성해질 것이다.
  1. Then the LORD will be zealous for His land And will have pity on His people.
  2. The LORD will answer and say to His people, "Behold, I am going to send you grain, new wine and oil, And you will be satisfied in full with them; And I will never again make you a reproach among the nations.
  3. "But I will remove the northern army far from you, And I will drive it into a parched and desolate land, And its vanguard into the eastern sea, And its rear guard into the western sea And its stench will arise and its foul smell will come up, For it has done great things."
  4. Do not fear, O land, rejoice and be glad, For the LORD has done great things.
  5. Do not fear, beasts of the field, For the pastures of the wilderness have turned green, For the tree has borne its fruit, The fig tree and the vine have yielded in full.
  1. 시온의 백성들아, 너희는 너희 하나님 여호와께서 너희를 위해 행하신 일을 보고 기뻐하며 즐거워하라. 그가 너희를 용서한 표로 비를 주실 것이니 이전처럼 봄비와 가을비를 너희에게 내려 주실 것이다.
  2. 그래서 타작마당에는 곡식이 가득하고 독에는 새 포도주와 기름이 넘칠 것이다.
  3. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '내가 전에 너희에게 보낸 큰 군대, 곧 메뚜기와 느치와 황충과 팥중이가 먹은 것만큼 너희에게 갚아 주겠다.
  4. 너희는 배부를 때까지 실컷 먹고 너희를 위해 놀라운 일을 행한 너희 하나님 나 여호와의 이름을 찬양할 것이며 다시는 수치를 당하지 않을 것이다.
  5. 그때 너희는 내가 이스라엘 백성 가운데 있으며 나만이 너희 하나님 여호와임을 알게 될 것이다. 그리고 너희가 다시는 수치를 당하지 않을 것이다.'
  1. So rejoice, O sons of Zion, And be glad in the LORD your God; For He has given you the early rain for your vindication And He has poured down for you the rain, The early and latter rain as before.
  2. The threshing floors will be full of grain, And the vats will overflow with the new wine and oil.
  3. "Then I will make up to you for the years That the swarming locust has eaten, The creeping locust, the stripping locust and the gnawing locust, My great army which I sent among you.
  4. "You will have plenty to eat and be satisfied And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; Then My people will never be put to shame.
  5. "Thus you will know that I am in the midst of Israel, And that I am the LORD your God, And there is no other; And My people will never be put to shame.
  1. 그 후에 내가 성령을 모든 사람에게 부어 주겠다. 너희 자녀들은 예언할 것이며 너희 노인들은 꿈을 꾸고 너희 청년들은 환상을 볼 것이다.
  2. 그 때에 내가 또 나의 남녀 종들에게 성령을 부어 줄 것이며
  3. 내가 하늘과 땅에 이상한 징조를 보여 줄 것이니 곧 피와 불과 연기기둥이다.
  4. 나 여호와의 크고 두려운 날이 오기 전에 해가 어두워지고 달이 핏빛으로 변할 것이다.
  5. 누구든지 나 여호와의 이름을 부르는 사람은 구원을 받을 것이다. 내가 말한 대로 시온산과 예루살렘에서 피할 자가 있을 것이며 살아남은 사람 중에 나의 부름을 받을 자가 있을 것이다.'
  1. "It will come about after this That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and daughters will prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young men will see visions.
  2. "Even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.
  3. "I will display wonders in the sky and on the earth, Blood, fire and columns of smoke.
  4. "The sun will be turned into darkness And the moon into blood Before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes.
  5. "And it will come about that whoever calls on the name of the LORD Will be delivered; For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem There will be those who escape, As the LORD has said, Even among the survivors whom the LORD calls.
 
 
  1. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '내가 유다와 이스라엘을 원상태로 회복시킬 때에
  2. 모든 나라를 모아 그들을 심판의 골짜기로 데리고 가서 그들이 내 백성에게 행한 일에 대하여 내가 거기서 그들을 심판할 것이다. 그들이 이스라엘 백성을 온 세계에 흩어 버리고 내 땅을 나누었으며
  3. 제비를 뽑아 내 백성을 종으로 삼고 남자 아이들은 창녀와 바꾸고 여자 아이들은 술값으로 팔았다.
  4. 두로와 시돈과 블레셋 모든 땅아, 너희가 나와 무슨 상관이 있느냐? 너희가 나에게 보복하려느냐? 만일 너희가 나에게 보복하면 내가 당장 너희 보복을 갚아주겠다.
  5. 너희는 나의 은과 금을 빼앗아 가고 나의 진기한 보물들을 너희 신전으로 가져갔으며
  1. "For behold, in those days and at that time, When I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem,
  2. I will gather all the nations And bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat Then I will enter into judgment with them there On behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; And they have divided up My land.
  3. "They have also cast lots for My people, Traded a boy for a harlot And sold a girl for wine that they may drink.
  4. "Moreover, what are you to Me, O Tyre, Sidon and all the regions of Philistia? Are you rendering Me a recompense? But if you do recompense Me, swiftly and speedily I will return your recompense on your head.
  5. "Since you have taken My silver and My gold, brought My precious treasures to your temples,
  1. 유다와 예루살렘 백성을 그리이스에 팔아 그들의 땅에서 멀리 떠나게 하였다.
  2. 그러나 내가 그들을 너희가 팔아 버린 곳에서 나오게 할 것이며 또 너희가 그들에게 행한 대로 내가 너희에게 갚아 주겠다.
  3. 내가 너희 자녀를 유다 백성에게 팔 것이며 그들은 다시 저들을 멀리 스바 사람에게 팔 것이다. 이것은 나 여호와의 말이다.'
  4. 너희는 여러 나라에 이렇게 선포하라. '전쟁 준비를 하고 용사들을 모집하라. 모든 병력을 집결시키고 진군하게 하라.
  5. 너희는 보습을 두들겨 칼을 만들고 낫을 두들겨 창을 만들어라. 너희는 약한 자를 강하게 하라.
  1. and sold the sons of Judah and Jerusalem to the Greeks in order to remove them far from their territory,
  2. behold, I am going to arouse them from the place where you have sold them, and return your recompense on your head.
  3. "Also I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the sons of Judah, and they will sell them to the Sabeans, to a distant nation," for the LORD has spoken.
  4. Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare a war; rouse the mighty men! Let all the soldiers draw near, let them come up!
  5. Beat your plowshares into swords And your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, "I am a mighty man."
  1. 사방의 모든 나라들아, 너희는 급히 와서 모여라.' 여호와여, 주의 용사들을 내려보내소서.
  2. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '모든 나라들을 자극하여 심판의 골짜기로 들어가게 하라. 내가 거기 앉아서 모든 나라를 심판하겠다.
  3. 너희는 낫을 휘둘러라. 곡식이 익었다. 너희는 와서 포도를 밟아라. 포도즙틀이 가득 차고 포도주 독이 넘치듯이 그들의 죄악이 넘쳐흐르고 있다.'
  4. 심판의 골짜기에 여호와의 날이 가까우므로 수많은 사람들이 그 골짜기에 모일 것이다.
  5. 해와 달이 캄캄하며 별들이 그 빛을 잃을 것이다.
  1. Hasten and come, all you surrounding nations, And gather yourselves there Bring down, O LORD, Your mighty ones.
  2. Let the nations be aroused And come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat, For there I will sit to judge All the surrounding nations.
  3. Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe Come, tread, for the wine press is full; The vats overflow, for their wickedness is great.
  4. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
  5. The sun and moon grow dark And the stars lose their brightness.
  1. 여호와께서 시온에서 부르짖고 예루살렘에서 외치실 것이다. 하늘과 땅이 진동하리라. 그러나 여호와는 자기 백성의 피난처가 되시고 이스라엘 자손의 산성이 되실 것이다.
  2. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '이스라엘아, 그때 너희는 내가 나의 거룩한 산 시온에 사는 너희 하나님 여호와임을 알게 될 것이다. 예루살렘이 거룩한 도시가 될 것이며 외국인이 다시는 이 곳을 침범하지 못할 것이다.
  3. 그 때에 산들이 포도나무로 뒤덮일 것이며 야산에는 젖소들이 가득하고 유다의 모든 시내에는 물이 넘쳐흐르며 나 여호와의 성전에서는 샘물이 흘러나와 아카시아 골짜기에 물을 댈 것이다.
  4. 그리고 이집트는 황무지가 될 것이며 에돔은 황폐한 들이 될 것이다. 그들이 유다 땅을 침략하여 죄 없는 백성들의 피를 흘렸기 때문이다.
  5. 그러나 유다는 끊임없이 번창할 것이며 예루살렘은 대대로 번영할 것이다.
  1. The LORD roars from Zion And utters His voice from Jerusalem, And the heavens and the earth tremble But the LORD is a refuge for His people And a stronghold to the sons of Israel.
  2. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God, Dwelling in Zion, My holy mountain So Jerusalem will be holy, And strangers will pass through it no more.
  3. And in that day The mountains will drip with sweet wine, And the hills will flow with milk, And all the brooks of Judah will flow with water; And a spring will go out from the house of the LORD To water the valley of Shittim.
  4. Egypt will become a waste, And Edom will become a desolate wilderness, Because of the violence done to the sons of Judah, In whose land they have shed innocent blood.
  5. But Judah will be inhabited forever And Jerusalem for all generations.
  1. 내 백성의 피를 흘리게 한 죄를 내가 묵인하지 않고 반드시 갚아 주겠다. 이것은 나 여호와가 시온에 살고 있기 때문이다.'
  1. And I will avenge their blood which I have not avenged, For the LORD dwells in Zion.
