- 위선자는 아첨하는 말로 자신의 감정을 숨긴다.

- 남을 해치려고 함정을 파는 사람은 자기가 그 함정에 빠질 것이며 남에게 돌을 굴려내리는 사람은 자기가 그 돌에 치이게 될 것이다.
- 거짓말하는 자는 자기가 해치려는 사람을 미워하고 아첨하는 입은 패망을 가져온다.
