- And he led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.
- And he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, even to this mountain, which his right hand had purchased.
- He cast out the heathen also before them, and divided them an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.
- Yet they tempted and provoked the most high God, and kept not his testimonies:
- But turned back, and dealt unfaithfully like their fathers: they were turned aside like a deceitful bow.

- 저희를 안전히 인도하시니 저희는 두려움이 없었으나 저희 원수는 바다에 엄몰되었도다
- 저희를 그 성소의 지경 곧 그의 오른손이 취하신 산으로 인도하시고
- 또 열방을 저희 앞에서 쫓아 내시며 줄로 저희 기업을 분배하시고 이스라엘 지파로 그 장막에 거하게 하셨도다
- 그럴찌라도 저희가 지존하신 하나님을 시험하며 반항하여 그 증거를 지키지 아니하며
- 저희 열조 같이 배반하고 궤사를 행하여 속이는 활 같이 빗가서

- For they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images.
- When God heard this, he was wroth, and greatly abhorred Israel:
- So that he forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh, the tent which he placed among men;
- And delivered his strength into captivity, and his glory into the enemy's hand.
- He gave his people over also unto the sword; and was wroth with his inheritance.

- 자기 산당으로 그 노를 격동하며 저희 조각한 우상으로 그를 진노케 하였으매
- 하나님이 들으시고 분내어 이스라엘을 크게 미워하사
- 실로의 성막 곧 인간에 세우신 장막을 떠나시고
- 그 능력된 자를 포로에 붙이시며 자기 영광을 대적의 손에 붙이시고
- 그 백성을 또 칼에 붙이사 그의 기업에게 분내셨으니

- The fire consumed their young men; and their maidens were not given to marriage.
- Their priests fell by the sword; and their widows made no lamentation.

- 저희 청년은 불에 살라지고 저희 처녀에게는 혼인 노래가 없으며
- 저희 제사장들은 칼에 엎드러지고 저희 과부들은 애곡하지 못하였도다
