- Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee.
- Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.
- For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.
- My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.
- By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin.

- 여호와여 내 기도를 들으시고 나의 부르짖음을 주께 상달케 하소서
- 나의 괴로운 날에 주의 얼굴을 내게 숨기지 마소서 주의 귀를 기울이사 내가 부르짖는 날에 속히 내게 응답하소서
- 대저 내 날이 연기 같이 소멸하며 내 뼈가 냉과리 같이 탔나이다
- 내가 음식 먹기도 잊었음으로 내 마음이 풀 같이 쇠잔하였사오며
- 나의 탄식 소리를 인하여 나의 살이 뼈에 붙었나이다
