욥기 30:1-31:40

 욥은 현재 환난 가운데 있는 자신은 사람들의 조롱거리가 되었다고 비통하게 노래하면서, 하나님께서 자신을 고통 가운데 있게 하셨다고 하였다. 그리고 하나님께 부르짖으나 하나님께서 대답하지 아니하시므로 자신은 애통한 상태에 있다고 하면서, 하나님께서 자신의 정직함을 알기를 원하며 자신에게 대답해 주시기를 간구하였다.
  
  계속되는 욥의 독백(30:1-31:40)    
 
  1. But now they that are younger than I have me in derision, whose fathers I would have disdained to have set with the dogs of my flock.
  2. Yea, whereto might the strength of their hands profit me, in whom old age was perished?
  3. For want and famine they were solitary; fleeing into the wilderness in former time desolate and waste.
  4. Who cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots for their meat.
  5. They were driven forth from among men, (they cried after them as after a thief;)
  1. 그러나 이제는 나보다 젊은 자들이 나를 기롱하는구나 그들의 아비들은 나의 보기에 나의 양떼 지키는 개 중에도 둘만하지 못한 자니라
  2. 그들은 장년의 기력이 쇠한 자니 그 손의 힘이 내게 무엇이 유익하랴
  3. 그들은 곧 궁핍과 기근으로 파리하매 캄캄하고 거친 들에서 마른 흙을 씹으며
  4. 떨기나무 가운데서 짠 나물도 꺾으며 대싸리 뿌리로 식물을 삼느니라
  5. 무리는 도적을 외침 같이 그들에게 소리지름으로 그들은 사람 가운데서 쫓겨나서
  1. To dwell in the cliffs of the valleys, in caves of the earth, and in the rocks.
  2. Among the bushes they brayed; under the nettles they were gathered together.
  3. They were children of fools, yea, children of base men: they were viler than the earth.
  4. And now am I their song, yea, I am their byword.
  5. They abhor me, they flee far from me, and spare not to spit in my face.
  1. 침침한 골짜기와 흙 구덩이와 바위 구멍에서 살며
  2. 떨기나무 가운데서 나귀처럼 부르짖으며 가시나무 아래 모여 있느니라
  3. 그들은 본래 미련한 자의 자식이요 비천한 자의 자식으로서 고토에서 쫓겨난 자니라
  4. 이제는 내가 그들의 노래가 되며 그들의 조롱거리가 되었고
  5. 그들은 나를 미워하여 멀리 하고 내 얼굴에 침 뱉기를 주저하지 아니하나니
  1. Because he hath loosed my cord, and afflicted me, they have also let loose the bridle before me.
  2. Upon my right hand rise the youth; they push away my feet, and they raise up against me the ways of their destruction.
  3. They mar my path, they set forward my calamity, they have no helper.
  4. They came upon me as a wide breaking in of waters: in the desolation they rolled themselves upon me.
  5. Terrors are turned upon me: they pursue my soul as the wind: and my welfare passeth away as a cloud.
  1. 이는 하나님이 내 줄을 늘어지게 하시고 나를 곤고케 하시매 무리가 내 앞에서 굴레를 벗었음이니라
  2. 그 낮은 무리가 내 우편에서 일어나 내 발을 밀뜨리고 나를 대적하여 멸망시킬 길을 쌓으며
  3. 도울 자 없는 그들이 내 길을 헐고 내 재앙을 재촉하는구나
  4. 성을 크게 파괴하고 그 파괴한 가운데로 몰려 들어 오는것 같이 그들이 내게로 달려드니
  5. 놀람이 내게 임하는구나 그들이 내 영광을 바람 같이 모니 내 복록이 구름 같이 지나갔구나
  1. And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me.
  2. My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest.
  3. By the great force of my disease is my garment changed: it bindeth me about as the collar of my coat.
  4. He hath cast me into the mire, and I am become like dust and ashes.
  5. I cry unto thee, and thou dost not hear me: I stand up, and thou regardest me not.
  1. 이제는 내 마음이 내 속에서 녹으니 환난날이 나를 잡음이라
  2. 밤이 되면 내 뼈가 쑤시니 나의 몸에 아픔이 쉬지 아니하는구나
  3. 하나님의 큰 능력으로 하여 옷이 추하여져서 옷깃처럼 내 몸에 붙었구나
  4. 하나님이 나를 진흙 가운데 던지셨고 나로 티끌과 재 같게 하셨구나
  5. 내가 주께 부르짖으오나 주께서 대답지 아니하시오며 내가 섰사오나 주께서 굽어보시기만 하시나이다
  1. Thou art become cruel to me: with thy strong hand thou opposest thyself against me.
  2. Thou liftest me up to the wind; thou causest me to ride upon it, and dissolvest my substance.
  3. For I know that thou wilt bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living.
  4. Howbeit he will not stretch out his hand to the grave, though they cry in his destruction.
  5. Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? was not my soul grieved for the poor?
  1. 주께서 돌이켜 내게 잔혹히 하시고 완력으로 나를 핍박하시오며
  2. 나를 바람 위에 들어 얹어 불려가게 하시며 대풍 중에 소멸케 하시나이다
  3. 내가 아나이다 주께서 나를 죽게 하사 모든 생물을 위하여 정한 집으로 끌어 가시리이다
  4. 그러나 사람이 넘어질 때에 어찌 손을 펴지 아니하며 재앙을 당할 때에 어찌 도움을 부르짖지 아니하겠는가
  5. 고생의 날 보내는 자를 위하여 내가 울지 아니하였는가 빈궁한 자를 위하여 내 마음에 근심하지 아니하였는가
  1. When I looked for good, then evil came unto me: and when I waited for light, there came darkness.
  2. My bowels boiled, and rested not: the days of affliction prevented me.
  3. I went mourning without the sun: I stood up, and I cried in the congregation.
  4. I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls.
  5. My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat.
  1. 내가 복을 바랐더니 화가 왔고 광명을 기다렸더니 흑암이 왔구나
  2. 내 마음이 어지러워서 쉬지 못하는구나 환난날이 내게 임하였구나
  3. 나는 햇볕에 쬐지 않고 검어진 살을 가지고 걸으며 공회 중에 서서 도움을 부르짖고 있느니라
  4. 나는 이리의 형제요 타조의 벗이로구나
  5. 내 가죽은 검어져서 떨어졌고 내 뼈는 열기로하여 탔구나
  1. My harp also is turned to mourning, and my organ into the voice of them that weep.
  1. 내 수금은 애곡성이 되고 내 피리는 애통성이 되었구나
 
 
  1. I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?
  2. For what portion of God is there from above? and what inheritance of the Almighty from on high?
  3. Is not destruction to the wicked? and a strange punishment to the workers of iniquity?
  4. Doth not he see my ways, and count all my steps?
  5. If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot hath hasted to deceit;
  1. 내가 내 눈과 언약을 세웠나니 어찌 처녀에게 주목하랴
  2. 그리하면 위에 계신 하나님의 내리시는 분깃이 무엇이겠으며 높은 곳에서 전능자의 주시는 산업이 무엇이겠느냐
  3. 불의자에게는 환난이 아니겠느냐 행악자에게는 재앙이 아니겠느냐
  4. 그가 내 길을 감찰하지 아니하시느냐 내 걸음을 다 세지 아니하시느냐
  5. 언제 나의 행위가 허탄하였으며 내 발이 궤휼에 빨랐던가
  1. Let me be weighed in an even balance that God may know mine integrity.
  2. If my step hath turned out of the way, and mine heart walked after mine eyes, and if any blot hath cleaved to mine hands;
  3. Then let me sow, and let another eat; yea, let my offspring be rooted out.
  4. If mine heart have been deceived by a woman, or if I have laid wait at my neighbour's door;
  5. Then let my wife grind unto another, and let others bow down upon her.
  1. 그리하였으면 내가 공평한 저울에 달려서 하나님이 나의 정직함을 아시게되기를 원하노라
  2. 언제 내 걸음이 길에서 떠났던가 내 마음이 내 눈을 따라갔던가 내 손에 더러운 것이 묻었던가
  3. 그리하였으면 나의 심은 것을 타인이 먹으며 나의 소산이 뿌리까지 뽑히는 것이 마땅하니라
  4. 언제 내 마음이 여인에게 유혹되어 이웃의 문을 엿보아 기다렸던가
  5. 그리하였으면 내 처가 타인의 매를 돌리며 타인이 더불어 동침하는 것이 마땅하니라
  1. For this is an heinous crime; yea, it is an iniquity to be punished by the judges.
  2. For it is a fire that consumeth to destruction, and would root out all mine increase.
  3. If I did despise the cause of my manservant or of my maidservant, when they contended with me;
  4. What then shall I do when God riseth up? and when he visiteth, what shall I answer him?
  5. Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb?
  1. 이는 중죄라 재판장에게 벌 받을 악이요
  2. 멸망하도록 사르는 불이라 나의 모든 소산을 뿌리까지 없이할 것이니라
  3. 남종이나 여종이 나로 더불어 쟁변할 때에 내가 언제 그의 사정을 멸시하였던가
  4. 그리하였으면 하나님이 일어나실 때에는 내가 어떻게 하겠느냐 하나님이 국문하실 때에는 내가 무엇이라 대답하겠느냐
  5. 나를 태 속에 만드신 자가 그도 만들지 아니하셨느냐 우리를 뱃속에 지으신 자가 하나가 아니시냐
  1. If I have withheld the poor from their desire, or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail;
  2. Or have eaten my morsel myself alone, and the fatherless hath not eaten thereof;
  3. (For from my youth he was brought up with me, as with a father, and I have guided her from my mother's womb;)
  4. If I have seen any perish for want of clothing, or any poor without covering;
  5. If his loins have not blessed me, and if he were not warmed with the fleece of my sheep;
  1. 내가 언제 가난한 자의 소원을 막았던가 과부의 눈으로 실망케 하였던가
  2. 나만 홀로 식물을 먹고 고아에게 먹이지 아니하였던가
  3. 실상은 내가 젊었을 때부터 고아를 기르기를 그의 아비처럼 하였으며 내가 모태에서 나온 후로 과부를 인도하였었노라
  4. 내가 언제 사람이 의복이 없이 죽게 된 것이나 빈궁한 자가 덮을 것이 없는 것을 보고도
  5. 나의 양털로 그 몸을 더웁게 입혀서 그로 나를 위하여 복을 빌게 하지 아니하였던가
  1. If I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless, when I saw my help in the gate:
  2. Then let mine arm fall from my shoulder blade, and mine arm be broken from the bone.
  3. For destruction from God was a terror to me, and by reason of his highness I could not endure.
  4. If I have made gold my hope, or have said to the fine gold, Thou art my confidence;
  5. If I rejoice because my wealth was great, and because mine hand had gotten much;
  1. 나를 도와주는 자가 성문에 있음을 보고 내가 손을 들어 고아를 쳤던가
  2. 그리하였으면 내 어깨가 어깨 뼈에서 떨어지고 내 팔 뼈가 부러짐이 마땅하니라
  3. 나는 하나님의 재앙을 심히 두려워하고 그 위엄을 인하여 아무 것도 할 수 없느니라
  4. 내가 언제 금으로 내 소망을 삼고 정금더러 너는 내 의뢰하는 바라 하였던가
  5. 언제 재물의 풍부함과 손으로 얻은 것이 많음으로 기뻐하였던가
  1. If I beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking in brightness;
  2. And my heart hath been secretly enticed, or my mouth hath kissed my hand:
  3. This also were an iniquity to be punished by the judge: for I should have denied the God that is above.
  4. If I rejoice at the destruction of him that hated me, or lifted up myself when evil found him:
  5. Neither have I suffered my mouth to sin by wishing a curse to his soul.
  1. 언제 태양의 빛남과 달의 명랑하게 운행되는 것을 보고
  2. 내 마음이 가만히 유혹되어 손에 입맞추었던가
  3. 이 역시 재판장에게 벌 받을 죄악이니 내가 그리하였으면 위에 계신 하나님을 배반한 것이니라
  4. 내가 언제 나를 미워하는 자의 멸망을 기뻐하였으며 그의 재앙 만남을 인하여 기운을 뽐내었던가
  5. 실상은 내가 그의 죽기를 구하는 말로 저주하여 내 입으로 범죄케 아니하였느니라
  1. If the men of my tabernacle said not, Oh that we had of his flesh! we cannot be satisfied.
  2. The stranger did not lodge in the street: but I opened my doors to the traveller.
  3. If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding mine iniquity in my bosom:
  4. Did I fear a great multitude, or did the contempt of families terrify me, that I kept silence, and went not out of the door?
  5. Oh that one would hear me! behold, my desire is, that the Almighty would answer me, and that mine adversary had written a book.
  1. 내 장막 사람의 말이 주인의 고기에 배부르지 않은 자가 어디 있느뇨 하지 아니하였었는가
  2. 나그네로 거리에서 자게 하지 아니하고 내가 행인에게 내 문을 열어 주었었노라
  3. 내가 언제 큰 무리를 두려워하며 족속의 멸시를 무서워함으로 잠잠하고 문에 나가지 아니하여 타인처럼 내 죄악을 품에 숨겨 허물을 가리었었던가
  4. （33절에 포함되어 있음）
  5. 누구든지 나의 변백을 들을찌니라 나의 서명이 여기 있으니 전능자가 내게 대답하시기를 원하노라 내 대적의 기록한 소송장이 내게 있었으면
  1. Surely I would take it upon my shoulder, and bind it as a crown to me.
  2. I would declare unto him the number of my steps; as a prince would I go near unto him.
  3. If my land cry against me, or that the furrows likewise thereof complain;
  4. If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life:
  5. Let thistles grow instead of wheat, and cockle instead of barley. The words of Job are ended.
  1. 내가 어깨에 메기도 하고 면류관처럼 머리에 쓰기도 하며
  2. 내 걸음의 수효를 그에게 고하고 왕족처럼 그를 가까이 하였으리라
  3. 언제 내 토지가 부르짖어 나를 책망하며 그 이랑이 일시에 울었던가
  4. 언제 내가 값을 내지 않고 그 소산물을 먹고 그 소유주로 생명을 잃게 하였던가
  5. 그리 하였으면 밀 대신에 찔레가 나고 보리 대신에 잡풀이 나는 것이 마땅하니라 하고 욥의 말이 그치니라
