- And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:
- But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.
- Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.
- And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.
- Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.

- 너희는 육 년 동안은 밭에 씨를 뿌려 그 소출을 거두어들이고,
- 칠 년째 되는 해에는 땅을 놀리고 소출을 그대로 두어 너희 백성 중에서 가난한 자들이 먹게 하고 남은 것은 들짐승이나 먹게 하여라. 너희 포도원도, 올리브 밭도 그렇게 하여라.
- 너희는 엿새 동안 일을 하고, 이레째 되는 날에는 쉬어라. 그래야 너희 소와 나귀도 쉴 수가 있고, 계집종의 자식과 몸붙여 사는 사람도 숨을 돌릴 것이 아니냐?
- 너희는 내가 너희에게 말한 모든 것을 명심하여라.
- 일 년에 세 차례 내 앞에서 축제를 올려라.

- Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
- And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.
- Three items in the year all thy males shall appear before the LORD God.
- Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.
- The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.

- 누룩 없는 빵을 먹는 무교절을 지켜 내가 명령한 대로 아빕월 지정한 시기에 칠 일간 누룩 없는 빵을 먹어야 한다. 그 달에 너희가 이집트에서 나왔기 때문이다. 내 앞에 빈손으로 나오지 마라.
- 그리고 너희가 밭에 씨를 뿌려서 지은 곡식의 맏물을 바치는 맥추절을 지켜라. 또 농사 지은 것을 밭에서 모두 거두어들이는 연말에는 추수절을 지켜라.
- 너희 남자들은 일 년에 세 번, 모두 주 야훼 앞에 나와야 한다.
- 나에게 희생제물의 피를 바칠 때 누룩 든 빵과 함께 바쳐서는 안 된다. 또한 축제 때 나에게 바친 기름기를 다음날 아침까지 묵혀두어서도 안 된다.
- 너희 밭에서 난 맏물 중에서 제일 좋은 것을 너희 하느님 야훼의 집으로 가져와야 한다. 또 새끼 염소를 그 어미의 젖으로 삶아도 안 된다.

- Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
- Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
- But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
- For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.
- Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.

- 이제 나는 너희 앞에 천사를 보내어 너희를 도중에 지켜주며 내가 정해 둔 곳으로 너희를 데려가리라.
- 너희는 그를 존경하여 그의 소리를 잘 따르고, 거역하지 마라. 그는 너희 잘못을 용서하지 않을 것이다. 그는 나의 대리자이다.
- 너희가 그의 말을 잘 들어, 내가 하라는 대로 실행하기만 하면 나는 너희 원수를 나의 원수로 삼고, 너희 적을 나의 적으로 삼으리라.
- 나의 천사가 앞장을 서서 너희를 아모리족, 헷족, 브리즈족, 가나안족, 히위족, 여부스족이 있는 곳으로 데리고 들어가리라. 내가 그들을 멸종시키겠다.
- 너희는 그들의 신들 앞에 엎드려 그들을 섬기지 말며 그들의 예식을 따라 예배하지도 마라. 오히려 그들의 신상들을 부수고 석상들을 깨뜨려라.

- And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
- There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.
- I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.
- And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
- I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.

- 너희는 너희 하느님 야훼만 섬겨야 한다. 그러면 나는 너희에게 복을 내려 먹을 빵과 마실 물을 주리라. 너희 가운데서 질병을 쓸어버리리라.
- 너희 지경 안에서는 유산하거나 임신하지 못하는 여인이 없으리라. 나는 너희를 명대로 오래 살게 해주리라.
- 나는 너희가 거기에 이르기 전에 내가 얼마나 무서운 존재인가를 거기에 사는 모든 백성에게 미리 알려 모두들 당황하게 만들겠다. 그리하면 너희 모든 원수들이 너희 앞에서 도망치리라.
- 나는 너희 가는 곳에 말벌을 앞질러 보내어 히위족과 가나안족과 헷족을 너희 앞에서 쫓아내겠다.
- 그러나 나는 일 년 안에 그들을 네 앞에서 쫓아내지는 않을 것이다. 땅이 황폐해져서 맹수가 들끓어 너희를 해치는 일이 없게 하려는 것이다.

- By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.
- And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.
- Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
- They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.

- 너희가 번성하여 그 땅을 다 차지할 때까지 두고두고 나는 그들을 너희 앞에서 쫓아내리라.
- 나는 너희 땅의 경계를 홍해에서 불레셋 앞바다까지, 이 사막에서 유프라테스 강까지로 정하고, 그 안에 사는 주민들을 너희 손에 넘겨주리라. 너희가 그들을 너희 앞에서 쫓아내리라.
- 너희는 그들이나 그들의 신들과 계약을 맺지 마라.
- 그들로 하여금 너희 땅에는 발도 붙이지 못하게 하여라. 그렇게 하지 않으면 너희가 그들의 유혹에 빠져 그들의 신들을 섬기며 나에게 죄를 지을 것이다.'"
