출애굽기 34:1-35:19

 하나님께서는 시내 산으로 모세를 부르셔서 언약의 두 돌판을 다시 주셨다. 산에서 내려온 모세는 안식일 규례, 성막 건축을 위해 이스라엘 백성들이 하나님께 드릴 예물, 성막의 구성을 위한 주요한 재료들에 관해 이스라엘 온 회중에게 말하고 성막을 건축할 일꾼들을 임명하였다.
  
  두번째 증거판(34:1-34:35)    
 
  1. And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest.
  2. And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me in the top of the mount.
  3. And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.
  4. And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone.
  5. And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.
  1. 야훼께서 모세에게 이르셨다. "돌판 두 개를 처음 것처럼 다듬어놓아라. 그러면 그 돌판에다 지난번에 네가 깨뜨린 첫 돌판에 써주었던 글을 내가 다시 새겨주리라.
  2. 내일 아침까지 준비해 놓았다가 아침 일찍 시나이 산으로 올라와 산꼭대기에서 나를 기다리고 서 있어라.
  3. 아무도 너를 따라 올라와서는 안 된다. 이 산 어디에서고 사람의 그림자가 얼씬거려서는 안 된다. 이 산 기슭에서는 양과 소에게 풀을 뜯기지도 마라."
  4. 모세는 야훼께서 분부하신 대로 돌판 두 개를 처음 것처럼 다듬어가지고 이튿날 아침 일찍 일어나 그 돌판 두 개를 손에 들고 시나이 산으로 올라갔다.
  5. 그 때 야훼께서 구름을 타고 내려와 모세 옆에 서시어 야훼라는 이름을 선포하셨다.
  1. And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
  2. Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
  3. And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.
  4. And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O LORD, let my LORD, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.
  5. And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.
  1. 야훼께서 그의 앞을 지나가시며 외치셨다. "나는 야훼다. 야훼다. 자비와 은총의 신이다. 좀처럼 화를 내지 아니하고 사랑과 진실이 넘치는 신이다.
  2. 수천 대에 이르기까지 사랑을 베푸는 신, 거슬러 반항하고 실수하는 죄를 용서해 주는 신이다. 그렇다고 벌하지 않는 것은 아니다. 조상이 거스르는 죄를 아들 손자들을 거쳐 삼사 대까지 벌한다."
  3. 모세는 얼른 땅에 엎드려 예배하고
  4. 아뢰었다. "주여, 제가 정녕 당신 눈에 드셨으면, 부디 주께서 우리와 동행해 주십시오. 이 백성이 고집이 센 것은 사실입니다. 그러나 우리가 저지른 죄와 실수를 용서하시고 우리를 길이 당신의 것으로 삼아주십시오."
  5. 야훼께서 대답하셨다. "내가 이제 너희와 계약을 맺겠다. 온 세상 어느 민족 사이에서도 이루어진 적이 없는 놀라운 일을 내가 너희 온 백성 앞에서 이루리라. 너희 주변에 사는 모든 백성이 야훼가 하는 일을 보리라. 이제 나는 세상이 깜짝 놀랄 일을 너희와 더불어 해보이겠다.
  1. Observe thou that which I command thee this day: behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.
  2. Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:
  3. But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:
  4. For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
  5. Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;
  1. 내가 오늘 너에게 내리는 명령을 삼가 지키도록 하여라. 내가 이제 아모리족, 가나안족, 헷족, 브리즈족, 히위족, 여부스족을 네 앞에서 몰아내겠다.
  2. 너희가 들어가 그 땅을 점령하거든 거기에 사는 사람들과 계약을 맺지 않도록 조심하여라. 그들이 너희와 섞여 살면 너희에게 올가미가 될 것이다.
  3. 그러니 너희는 그들의 제단을 헐고 석상을 깨뜨리고 목상을 찍어버려라.
  4. 너희는 다른 신을 예배해서는 안 된다. 나의 이름은 질투하는 야훼, 곧 질투하는 신이다.
  5. 그 땅에 사는 사람들과 너희는 계약을 맺지 않도록 하여라. 그들이 저희 신들의 본을 따서 음행하며 저희 신들에게 제물을 바치는 자리에 너희를 초청하면, 너희는 그들과 제물을 함께 먹게 될 것이다.
  1. And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.
  2. Thou shalt make thee no molten gods.
  3. The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt.
  4. All that openeth the matrix is mine; and every firstling among thy cattle, whether ox or sheep, that is male.
  5. But the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then shalt thou break his neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.
  1. 너희가 그들의 딸을 며느리로 삼게 되면 그들의 딸이 저희 신을 본떠서 음행하며 너희 아들도 꾀어, 저희 신을 본떠서 음행하게 할 것이다.
  2. 너희는 신상을 부어 만들지 마라.
  3. 너희는 누룩 안 든 빵을 먹는 무교절을 지켜라. 아빕월에 너희가 이집트에서 나왔으니 그 달 정한 때에 칠 일간 누룩 안 든 빵을 먹어야 한다.
  4. 모태에서 처음으로 태어나는 것은 다 나의 것이다. 큰 가축이건 작은 가축이건 첫 새끼 수컷은 다 나의 것이다.
  5. 처음 난 나귀 새끼는 양을 대신 바치고 물러내어라. 물러내기 싫으면 목을 부러뜨려 죽여라. 너희 맏아들은 제물을 대신 바치고 물러내야 한다. 아무도 빈손으로는 내 앞에 나타나지 못한다.
  1. Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.
  2. And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.
  3. Thrice in the year shall all your menchildren appear before the LORD God, the God of Israel.
  4. For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the LORD thy God thrice in the year.
  5. Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning.
  1. 너희는 엿새 동안 일하고 이렛날에는 쉬어야 한다. 밭갈이하는 시절에도 거둠질하는 시절에도 쉬어야 한다.
  2. 밀곡식을 처음 거두어들일 때 추수절을 지켜라. 해가 바뀔 때, 초막절을 지켜라.
  3. 모든 남자가 한 해에 세 번씩 이스라엘의 하느님 주 야훼 앞에 나타나야 한다.
  4. 내가 뭇 백성을 너희 앞에서 쫓아내고 너희 지경을 넓혀주리라. 너희가 한 해에 세 번씩 너희 하느님 야훼 앞에 나타나러 올라와도 그 동안에 너희 땅을 탐내어 엿보는 자가 없으리라.
  5. 제물의 피를 나에게 바칠 때 누룩 든 빵을 함께 바쳐서는 안 된다. 과월절의 제물을 이튿날 아침까지 묵혀두어서는 안 된다.
  1. The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.
  2. And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.
  3. And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
  4. And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.
  5. And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.
  1. 너희 농토에서 난 햇곡식 가운데 가장 좋은 것을 너희 하느님 야훼의 집에 바쳐야 한다. 숫염소 새끼를 제 어미의 젖으로 삶으면 안 된다."
  2. 야훼께서 모세에게 이르셨다. "너는 이 모든 말을 기록하여 두어라. 내가 이 모든 말을 조건으로 삼고 너와 이스라엘 백성과 계약을 맺는다."
  3. 모세는 거기에서 야훼와 함께 사십 주야를 지내는 동안 빵도 먹지 않고 물도 마시지 않았다. 그는 계약의 조문들인 십계명을 판에 기록하였다.
  4. 모세는 시나이 산에서 내려왔다. 산에서 내려올 때 모세의 손에는 증거판 두 개가 들려 있었다. 그런데 모세는 야훼와 대화하는 동안에 자기 얼굴의 살결이 빛나게 된 것을 모르고 있었다.
  5. 아론과 이스라엘 백성이 모세를 쳐다보니 그의 얼굴 살결이 환하게 빛나고 있었으므로 모두들 두려워하여 가까이 가지 못하였다.
  1. And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them.
  2. And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai.
  3. And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face.
  4. But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out. And he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded.
  5. And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone: and Moses put the vail upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.
  1. 모세는 아론과 회중의 모든 지도자들을 불렀다. 그들이 자기 앞에 나아오자 모세는 그들에게 모든 것을 이야기해 주었다.
  2. 그 뒤에야 이스라엘 백성이 모두 나아왔다. 모세는 그들에게 야훼께서 시나이 산에서 주신 계명을 모두 전하여 주었다.
  3. 모세는 할 말을 다 하고 얼굴을 수건으로 가렸다.
  4. 모세는 야훼와 대화하기 위하여 그의 앞으로 나아갈 때 수건을 벗고는 나올 때까지 쓰지 않았다. 모세는 하느님께 받은 명령을 나오는 길로 이스라엘 백성에게 전하였다.
  5. 이스라엘 백성이 모세를 쳐다보면 그 얼굴 살결이 환하게 빛나고 있었다. 그래서 다시 야훼와 대화하기 위하여 들어갈 때까지 얼굴을 수건으로 가리고 있어야 했다.
 
  성막 헌물 계시(35:1-35:19)    
 
  1. And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them.
  2. Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.
  3. Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.
  4. And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD commanded, saying,
  5. Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,
  1. 모세가 이스라엘 백성의 온 회중을 모아놓고 말하였다. "야훼께서 너희에게 실천하라고 명하시는 말씀은 다음과 같다.
  2. '너희는 엿새 동안 일하고 이렛날은 너희가 거룩히 지내야 할 날, 곧 야훼를 위하여 푹 쉬는 안식일이니, 그 날 일하는 자는 누구든지 사형에 처하여야 한다.
  3. 안식일에는 너희가 사는 곳 어디에서나 불도 피우지 못한다.'"
  4. 모세가 이스라엘 백성의 온 회중에게 일렀다. "이것은 야훼께서 내리신 명령이다.
  5. 너희 소유 가운데서 야훼께 드릴 선물을 거두어 바치도록 하여라. 야훼께 선물을 바치고 싶은 자는 누구나 자원해서 바쳐라. 너희가 바칠 것은 금, 은, 구리,
  1. And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,
  2. And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,
  3. And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,
  4. And onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate.
  5. And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the LORD hath commanded;
  1. 자줏빛 양털, 붉은 양털, 진홍색 양털, 고운 모시실, 염소털,
  2. 분홍색 숫양 가죽, 돌고래 가죽, 아카시아 나무,
  3. 등잔 기름, 향유, 가루향에 넣는 향료,
  4. 에봇과 가슴받이에 박을 홍옥수를 포함한 여러 가지 보석들이다.
  5. 너희 가운데 재주 있는 자는 모두 와서 야훼께서 명령하신 물건을 만들어라.
  1. The tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his sockets,
  2. The ark, and the staves thereof, with the mercy seat, and the vail of the covering,
  3. The table, and his staves, and all his vessels, and the shewbread,
  4. The candlestick also for the light, and his furniture, and his lamps, with the oil for the light,
  5. And the incense altar, and his staves, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the door at the entering in of the tabernacle,
  1. 성막을 만드는 데 드는 천막과 덮개, 갈고리, 널빤지, 가로다지, 기둥, 밑받침을 만들어라.
  2. 또 증거궤와 거기에 딸리는 채와 속죄판과 그것을 가리울 휘장,
  3. 제사 상과 거기에 딸리는 채와 모든 기구들, 거기에 차려놓을 제사 떡,
  4. 어둠을 밝힐 등잔대와 거기에 딸리는 기구들, 등잔과 등유,
  5. 분향단과 거기에 딸리는 채, 향유, 가루향에 넣는 향료, 성막 문간의 휘장,
  1. The altar of burnt offering, with his brasen grate, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,
  2. The hangings of the court, his pillars, and their sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court,
  3. The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,
  4. The cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office.
  1. 번제단과 거기에 둘러칠 놋그물과 딸리는 채와 모든 기구, 물두멍과 그 받침대,
  2. 울의 휘장과 휘장을 칠 기둥과 밑받침, 울의 정면에 칠 휘장,
  3. 성막을 칠 말뚝과 줄, 울을 칠 말뚝과 줄,
  4. 성소에서 예식을 올릴 때 입을 제복, 곧 사제 아론이 입을 거룩한 옷과 그 아들들이 제사 드릴 때 입을 옷들을 만들어라."
