레위기 4:1-5:19

 하나님께서는 죄를 속하기 위한 속죄제의 규례를 지시하셨다. 속죄제를 드려야 할 범죄의 유형에 대해서도 말씀하셨다. 속죄제는 의무제로서 신분에 따라 각기 다른 제물로 드려졌다. 속건제는 야웨의 성물에 대해 범죄하거나 금령을 범했을 경우에 드려졌다.
  
  속죄제(4:1-5:13)    
 
  1. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
  2. Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:
  3. If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering.
  4. And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD; and shall lay his hand upon the bullock's head, and kill the bullock before the LORD.
  5. And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock's blood, and bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation:
  1. 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "너는 이스라엘 백성에게 이렇게 일러라. '사람이 실수로 야훼의 명령을 어겨 하지 말라고 하신 일을 하나라도 하였을 경우에는 다음과 같이 해야 한다.
  3. 만일 기름 부어 세운 사제가 잘못해서 백성에게 벌이 돌아오게 되면, 큰 짐승들 가운데서 흠이 없는 수소 한 마리를 제물로 바쳐 그가 잘못한 죄를 벗어야 한다.
  4. 그는 그 수소를 만남의 장막 문간, 야훼 앞으로 끌고 와 그 머리에 손을 얹고 나서 야훼 앞에서 죽여야 한다.
  5. 그러면 기름 부어 세운 사제가 그 수소 피를 조금 따라서 만남의 장막으로 가지고 들어가서
  1. And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the LORD, before the vail of the sanctuary.
  2. And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the LORD, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation; and shall pour all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
  3. And he shall take off from it all the fat of the bullock for the sin offering; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
  4. And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away,
  5. As it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering.
  1. 그 피를 손가락에 찍어 야훼 앞에 드리운 성막에다 일곱 번 뿌려야 한다.
  2. 사제는 그 피를 만남의 장막 안, 야훼의 앞에 있는 향기 좋은 향을 피우는 분향단 뿔들 위에 붓고 수소의 나머지 피는 모두 만남의 장막 문간에 있는 번제단 밑바닥에 쏟아야 한다.
  3. 속죄제물이 된 수소의 모든 기름기를 떼어내는데 내장을 덮은 기름기, 내장에 붙어 있는 기름기,
  4. 두 콩팥과 거기에 붙어 있는 기름기 곧 허리께에 붙은 기름기, 간과 콩팥에 붙은 기름 덩어리를
  5. 친교제물이 된 소에서 떼어낼 때처럼 떼어야 하고 그것을 사제가 번제단 위에서 살라야 한다.
  1. And the skin of the bullock, and all his flesh, with his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung,
  2. Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.
  3. And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;
  4. When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.
  5. And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the LORD: and the bullock shall be killed before the LORD.
  1. 수소 가죽과 그 모든 살코기, 머리, 다리, 내장의 똥과 함께
  2. 그 수소의 나머지 전부는 진지 밖 깨끗한 곳에 있는 잿더미로 내어다가 잿더미 위에 피운 장작불에 태워야 한다.
  3. 만일 이스라엘 온 회중이 실수로 범죄하였는데 모두들 그 사실을 모르고 있다거나, 야훼께서 하지 말라고 명령하신 것 가운데 어떤 하나라도 어겼을 경우에는,
  4. 자기들이 저지른 죄를 깨닫는 대로 곧 모여 큰 짐승 가운데서 수소를 잡아 속죄제물로 바쳐야 한다. 그 소를 만남의 장막 앞으로 끌어오면
  5. 회중의 장로들이 그 수소의 머리 위에 손을 얹고 나서 야훼 앞에서 죽여야 한다.
  1. And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bullock's blood to the tabernacle of the congregation:
  2. And the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD, even before the vail.
  3. And he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the LORD, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
  4. And he shall take all his fat from him, and burn it upon the altar.
  5. And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.
  1. 그러면 기름을 부어 세운 사제가 수소의 피를 조금 따라서 만남의 장막으로 가지고 들어가서
  2. 그 피를 손가락에 찍어 야훼 앞에 드리운 성막에다 일곱 번 뿌려야 한다.
  3. 그리고 나서 그는 그 피를 얼마쯤 만남의 장막 안, 야훼의 앞에 있는 제단 뿔들 위에 붓고 나머지 피는 모두 만남의 장막 문간에 있는 번제단 밑바닥에 쏟아야 한다.
  4. 그리고 기름기는 모두 떼어 제단에서 살라야 한다.
  5. 그는 속죄제물을 처리한 방식대로 이 수소도 처리해야 한다. 이렇게 사제가 그들의 죄를 벗겨주면 그들은 죄를 용서받을 것이다.
  1. And he shall carry forth the bullock without the camp, and burn him as he burned the first bullock: it is a sin offering for the congregation.
  2. When a ruler hath sinned, and done somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;
  3. Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish:
  4. And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the LORD: it is a sin offering.
  5. And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering.
  1. 그리고 그는 그 수소를 진지 밖으로 내어다가 먼젓번 수소를 사른 것처럼 살라야 한다. 이것이 무리의 죄를 벗겨주는 제사이다.
  2. 만일 높은 자리에 있는 사람이 자기 하느님 야훼께서 하지 말라고 명령하신 것을 한 가지라도 어겨 벌이 돌아오게 된 경우에는,
  3. 자기가 저지른 잘못을 깨닫는 대로 흠이 없는 숫염소 한 마리를 제물로 끌어다가
  4. 그 염소 머리에 손을 얹고 나서 야훼 앞, 번제물을 죽이는 자리에서 그것을 죽여야 한다. 이것이 속죄제물이다.
  5. 사제는 이 속죄제물의 피를 손가락에 찍어, 번제단 뿔들에 바르고 나머지 피는 번제단 밑바닥에 쏟아야 한다.
  1. And he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall make an atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.
  2. And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;
  3. Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.
  4. And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.
  5. And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.
  1. 그리고 그 기름기를 제단에서 친교제물의 기름기를 사르듯이 모두 살라야 한다. 이렇게 사제가 죄를 벗겨주면 그는 죄를 용서받을 것이다.
  2. 만일 일반 백성 가운데 누군가가 야훼께서 하지 말라고 명령하신 것을 하나라도 실수로 어겨 벌을 받게 된 경우에는,
  3. 자기가 저지른 잘못을 깨닫는 대로, 곧 흠이 없는 암염소 한 마리를 끌어다가 자기가 저지른 죄를 벗겨주는 제물로 바쳐야 한다.
  4. 그가 그 속죄제물의 머리 위에 손을 얹고 나서 번제물을 죽이는 자리에서 죽이면
  5. 사제는 그 피를 손가락에 찍어 번제단 뿔들에 바르고 나머지 피는 모두 제단 밑바닥에 쏟아야 한다.
  1. And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the LORD; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.
  2. And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.
  3. And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering.
  4. And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar:
  5. And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.
  1. 제물 바치는 사람이 그 모든 기름기를 친교제물에서 기름기를 떼어내듯이 떼어내면, 사제는 그것을 제단에서 살라, 야훼를 기쁘게 해드리는 향기가 풍기게 하여야 한다. 이렇게 사제가 그의 죄를 벗겨주면 그는 죄를 용서받을 것이다.
  2. 만일 여느 사람이 면양을 속죄제물로 바치려고 하면, 흠이 없는 암컷을 끌어다가
  3. 그 머리에 손을 얹고 나서 번제물을 죽이는 자리에서 죽여 속죄제물로 삼아야 한다.
  4. 사제는 그 속죄제물의 피를 손가락에 찍어 번제단 뿔들에 바르고 나머지 피는 모두 제단 밑바닥에 쏟아야 한다.
  5. 제물 바치는 사람이 면양을 친교제물로 드릴 때 떼어내듯이 그 양에서 모든 기름기를 떼어내면 사제는 그것을 제단에서 야훼께 살라 바치는 제물 위에 얹어놓고 살라야 한다. 이렇게 사제가 그의 죄를 벗겨주면 그는 죄를 용서받는다.
 
 
  1. And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.
  2. Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.
  3. Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness it be that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty.
  4. Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these.
  5. And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing:
  1. 누구든지 어떤 사건을 보아서 알거나 들어서 알아 증인으로 출두하였을 때 바로 증언하지 않으면 저주를 받으리라는 선고를 듣고서도 바르게 증언하지 않는 죄를 지었을 경우에는 그 죄의 책임을 면하지 못한다.
  2. 또 누구든지 부정한 들짐승의 주검이나 부정한 가축의 주검이나 부정한 길짐승의 주검과 같은 어떤 부정한 물건에 모르고라도 닿았을 경우에 그는 부정을 탄 사람이므로 그 부정을 벗어야 한다.
  3. 또 사람 몸에 있는 어떤 부정한 것에 닿았든지 그런 줄을 모르고 닿았다고 하더라도 그는 부정을 탄 사람이므로 깨닫는 대로 곧 그 부정을 벗어야 한다.
  4. 또 무슨 일이든지 함부로 입술을 놀려 맹세한 사람은 비록 모르고 한 일이라 하더라도 자기가 맹세한 일이면 그 무엇이든지 깨닫는 대로 책임을 져야 한다.
  5. 위에 말한 것 중의 어느 하나에라도 걸렸을 경우에는 자기가 어긴 그 잘못을 고백하고
  1. And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.
  2. And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.
  3. And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide it asunder:
  4. And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin offering.
  5. And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the manner: and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.
  1. 그 벌로 야훼께 속죄제물을 드리는데 양떼 가운데서 면양이든지 염소든지 암컷 한 마리를 바쳐야 한다. 이렇게 사제가 그의 죄를 벗겨주면 그는 죄를 용서받을 것이다.
  2. 만일 그에게 작은 짐승 하나라도 마련할 힘이 없다면 자기의 잘못에 대한 벌로 산비둘기 두 마리나 집비둘기 두 마리를 가져다가 한 마리는 속죄제물로 바치고 한 마리는 번제물로 바쳐야 한다.
  3. 그 비둘기들을 사제에게 바치면, 사제는 속죄제물부터 바치는데 목을 부러뜨리되 떨어지지 않게 하여야 한다.
  4. 그리고 그 속죄제물의 피를 제단 턱에 뿌리고 나머지 피는 빼어서 제단 밑바닥에 흘려야 한다. 이것이 속죄제물이다.
  5. 다음 비둘기는 법을 따라 번제물로 바쳐야 한다. 이렇게 사제가 그의 잘못을 벗겨주면 그는 죄를 용서받을 것이다.
  1. But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering.
  2. Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a sin offering.
  3. And the priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him: and the remnant shall be the priest's, as a meat offering.
  1. 만일 그에게 산비둘기 두 마리나 집비둘기 두 마리를 마련할 힘도 없다면, 자기의 잘못에 대한 벌로 밀가루 십분의 일 에바를 속죄제물로 바쳐야 한다. 그러나 이것은 속죄제물이기 때문에 기름이나 향을 그 위에 얹지 못한다.
  2. 그가 사제에게 그것을 바치면, 사제는 가루 한 움큼을 쥐어서 야훼께 살라 바치는 제물 위에 얹어 정성의 표시로 제단에서 살라야 한다. 이것이 속죄제물이다.
  3. 위에 말한 것 중의 어느 하나에라도 걸린 사람은 사제가 이렇게 그의 잘못을 벗겨주면 죄를 용서받을 것이다. 그 제물은 곡식예물처럼 사제의 몫이 된다.'"
 
  속건제(5:14-5:19)    
 
  1. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
  2. If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering.
  3. And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.
  4. And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
  5. And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wist it not, and it shall be forgiven him.
  1. 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "누구든지 야훼에게 거룩한 것을 바칠 때 성실치 못하여 실수해서 제대로 바치지 못했을 경우에는 그 잘못에 대한 벌로 자기의 양떼 가운데서 흠없는 면양 수컷 한 마리를 야훼에게 바쳐야 한다. 이것이 면죄제물이다. 그 양이 성소 세겔로 달아 몇 세겔짜리가 되어야 하는가는 네가 결정해 주어라.
  3. 거룩한 것을 제대로 바치지 못한 잘못을 보상해야 하는데 그 보상하는 값의 오분의 일을 더 보태서 사제에게 내야 한다. 사제가 그 잘못한 벌로 내는 숫양을 바쳐서 그의 죄를 벗겨주면, 그는 죄를 용서받을 것이다.
  4. 누구든지 야훼가 하지 말라고 명령한 것 가운데 그 어느 한 가지라도 어겼을 경우에는 비록 모르고 했더라도 벌을 받아야 한다. 그는 그 죄의 책임을 면하지 못한다.
  5. 그는 그 잘못한 데 대한 벌로 양떼 가운데서 흠없는 면양 수컷 한 마리를 사제에게 가져와야 한다. 그 양의 값은 네가 결정해 주어라. 실수해서 모르고 잘못한 것을 벗겨주는 제물로 그것을 사제가 바치면, 그는 죄를 용서받을 것이다.
  1. It is a trespass offering: he hath certainly trespassed against the LORD.
  1. 이것이 면죄제물이다. 그는 자기 잘못에 대한 벌로 이 제물을 야훼에게 바치지 않을 수 없는 것이다."
