- The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.
- The LORD shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.
- The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.
- Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
- A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.

- 악한 자, 이를 갈며 의인을 모해하려 할지라도
- 야훼, 그 끝남을 보시고 비웃으신다.
- 올바른 사람을 목조르고, 가난하고 약한 자를 쓰러뜨리려고 악한 무리 칼을 빼들고 활을 당기지만
- 제 칼에 염통이 터지고 활은 부러지리라.
- 악한 자들의 많은 재산보다 의인의 가난이 더 낫다.

- For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.
- The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
- They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
- But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.
- The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.

- 악인의 팔은 부러지지만 착한 사람은 야훼께서 붙드신다.
- 덕스럽게 사는 사람은 야훼께서 보살피시니, 그의 유산은 대대손손 영원하리라.
- 나쁜 때에 곤경을 당하지 않으며, 가뭄에도 굶주리지 아니하리라.
- 그러나 야훼를 등진 악인들은 목장을 덮었던 풀처럼 시들고 연기처럼 사라지리라.
- 악인들은 꾸기만 하고 갚지 않으나 착한 사람은 동정하고 후하게 준다.

- For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

- 주께서 복을 내린 자는 땅을 차지하고 주께서 저주한 자는 멸망하리라.
