- And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
- Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
- And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
- And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:
- Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.

- 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
- "너는 이스라엘 백성에게 일러라. '이스라엘 가문에 속한 사람은 물론이요 이스라엘에 몸붙여 사는 사람들까지도 자기 자식을 몰록에게 바친 자는 반드시 사형시켜야 한다. 그 지방 백성이 그를 돌로 쳐죽여야 한다.
- 나도 그를 언짢게 여겨 겨레로부터 추방하리라. 그가 제 자식을 몰록에게 바쳐, 나의 성소를 더럽히고 나의 거룩한 이름을 욕되게 하였기 때문이다.
- 그 지방 백성이 몰록에게 제 자식을 바치는 사람을 눈감아주고 죽이지 않는다면,
- 나는 그 사람과 그 집안도 언짢게 여겨 그 사람뿐 아니라 그 뒤를 따라 몰록을 섬기며 음행하는 음탕한 자들을 모두 겨레로부터 추방하리라.

- And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
- Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.
- And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you.
- For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
- And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

- 죽은 사람의 혼백을 불러내는 여인들과 점쟁이에게 가서 그들을 따라 음행하는 자가 있으면, 나는 그도 언짢게 여겨 겨레로부터 추방하리라.
- 너희는 삼가 스스로 몸가짐을 깨끗이 하여 거룩한 사람이 되어야 한다. 나 야훼가 너희 하느님이다.
- 너희는 내가 정해 주는 규정을 지켜 그대로 해야 한다. 너희를 거룩하게 해주는 이는 나 야훼이다.
- 누구든지 자기 부모에게 악담하는 자는 반드시 사형을 당해야 한다. 그 부모에게 악담하였으니 피를 흘리고 죽어야 마땅하다.
- 이웃집 아내와 간통한 사람이 있으면, 그 간통한 남자와 여자는 반드시 함께 사형을 당해야 한다.

- And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
- And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.
- If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
- And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
- And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.

- 누가 자기 아비의 부인과 한자리에 들고 그 부끄러운 곳을 벗겼으면, 그 두 사람은 반드시 사형을 당해야 한다. 그들은 피를 흘리고 죽어야 마땅하다.
- 자기 며느리와 한자리에 드는 사람이 있으면, 그 두 사람은 반드시 사형을 당해야 한다. 그들은 추잡한 짓을 했으니 제 피를 흘리고 죽어야 마땅하다.
- 여자와 한자리에 들듯이 남자와 한자리에 든 남자가 있으면, 그 두 사람은 망측한 짓을 하였으므로 반드시 사형을 당해야 한다. 그들은 피를 흘리고 죽어야 마땅하다.
- 누가 모녀를 함께 데리고 살면 그는 더러운 자이니, 그와 두 여인을 불에 태워 죽여야 한다. 그래서 너희 가운데서 그런 더러운 짓이 다시 생기지 않도록 하여라.
- 가축과 교접한 사람은 반드시 사형을 당해야 한다. 그 가축도 죽여야 한다.

- And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
- And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
- And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
- And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, nor of thy father's sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity.
- And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he hath uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.

- 어떤 여자가 짐승을 가까이하여 교접하였으면, 그 여자와 짐승을 반드시 함께 죽여야 한다. 그들은 이렇게 제 피를 흘리고 죽어야 마땅하다.
- 제 아비의 딸이든지, 어미의 딸이든지, 제 누이를 데리고 살면서 누이의 부끄러운 곳을 벗기고 여자는 오라비의 부끄러운 곳을 벗겼으면 그들을 겨레가 보는 앞에서 없애야 한다. 이것은 파렴치한 짓이다. 제 누이의 부끄러운 곳을 벗겼으므로 죄벌을 면할 길이 없다.
- 월경 중에 있는 여인과 한자리에 들어 그 부끄러운 곳을 벗겨 피 나는 곳을 열어 젖힌다든지, 그 여자도 옷을 벗어 피 나는 곳을 드러내든지 하면 그 두 사람은 겨레로부터 추방해야 한다.
- 네 이모의 부끄러운 곳이나, 네 고모의 부끄러운 곳을 벗기면 안 된다. 제 핏줄의 몸을 벗긴 것이므로 죄벌을 면할 길이 없다.
- 숙모와 한자리에 든 사람은 삼촌의 부끄러운 곳을 벗긴 것이므로 그들은 죄벌을 받아 후손을 보지 못하고 죽어야 한다.

- And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.
- Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.
- And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.
- But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other people.
- Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.

- 제 형제의 아내를 데리고 사는 것은 추한 짓이다. 그것은 제 형제의 부끄러운 곳을 벗긴 것이므로 그가 후손을 보지 못하리라.
- 너희는 이렇게 내가 정해 주는 모든 규정과 내가 세워주는 모든 법을 지켜 그대로 해야 한다. 그래야 내가 너희를 이끌어들여 살게 할 그 땅이 너희를 토해 버리지 아니할 것이다.
- 너희는 내가 너희 앞에서 쫓아낼 민족들이 지키는 규정을 따르지 마라. 내가 그들을 싫어하는 것은 그들이 이런 모든 짓을 했기 때문이다.
- 너희가 이 민족들의 농토를 차지할 것이며 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 이 땅이 너희의 소유가 되리라고 내가 이미 약속하지 않았느냐? 나 야훼는 너희를 뭇 백성 가운데서 갈라 세운 너희 하느님이다.
- 너희는 정한 짐승과 부정한 짐승을 가려야 한다. 정한 새와 부정한 새를 가려야 한다. 그래서 짐승이든지 새든지 그 밖에 땅에 기는 어떤 것이든지 너희에게 부정하다고 내가 구별해 준 것으로 부정을 타는 일이 있어서는 안 된다.

- And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
- A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.

- 나 야훼는 거룩하다. 너희는 내 것이니, 너희도 거룩한 사람이 되어야 한다. 나는 너희를 뭇 백성 가운데서 갈라내어 내 것으로 삼았다.
- 너희 가운데 죽은 사람의 혼백을 불러내는 사람이나 점쟁이가 있으면, 그가 남자이든지 여자이든지 반드시 사형에 처해야 한다. 그들을 돌로 쳐라. 그들은 제 피를 흘리고 죽어야 마땅하다.'"
