누가복음 24:13-24:53

 예수님은 엠마오로 가는 두 제자에게 나타나 자신의 부활을 확신시켜 주셨다. 그리고 그들이 예루살렘으로 돌아가서 열한 사도들에게 예수님의 부활을 증거하고 있을 때 그 가운데 나타나셔서 다시 한 번 자신의 부활을 확신시키시고 복음을 전파할 것을 명하신 후, 베다니에 이르러 제자들이 보는 가운데 승천하셨다.
  
  엠마오 도상의 두 제자(24:13-24:35)    
 
  1. And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.
  2. And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
  3. And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
  4. But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.
  5. And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?
  1. 바로 그 날 거기 모였던 사람들 중 두 사람이 예루살렘에서 한 삼십리쯤 떨어진 곳에 있는 엠마오라는 동네로 걸어가면서
  2. 이 즈음에 일어난 모든 사건에 대하여 말을 주고받고 있었다.
  3. 그들이 이야기를 나누며 토론하고 있을 때에 예수께서 그들에게 다가가서 나란히 걸어가셨다.
  4. 그러나 그들은 눈이 가려져서 그분이 누구신지 알아보지 못하였다.
  5. 예수께서 그들에게 "길을 걸으면서 무슨 이야기들을 그렇게 하고 있느냐?" 하고 물으셨다. 그러자 그들은 침통한 표정인 채 걸음을 멈추었다.
  1. And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?
  2. And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:
  3. And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.
  4. But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.
  5. Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;
  1. 그리고 글레오파라는 사람이 "예루살렘에 머물러 있던 사람으로서 요새 며칠 동안에 거기에서 일어난 일을 모르다니, 그런 사람이 당신말고 어디 또 있겠습니까?" 하고 말하였다.
  2. 예수께서 "무슨 일이냐?" 하고 물으시자 그들은 이렇게 설명하였다. "나자렛 사람 예수에 관한 일이오. 그분은 하느님과 모든 백성들 앞에서 그 하신 일과 말씀에 큰 능력을 보이신 예언자였습니다.
  3. 그런데 대사제들과 우리 백성의 지도자들이 그분을 관헌에게 넘겨 사형 선고를 받아 십자가형을 당하게 하였습니다.
  4. 우리는 그분이야말로 이스라엘을 구원해 주실 분이라고 희망을 걸고 있었습니다. 그러나 그분은 이미 처형을 당하셨고, 더구나 그 일이 있은 지도 벌써 사흘째나 됩니다.
  5. 그런데 우리 가운데 몇몇 여인이 우리를 깜짝 놀라게 하였습니다. 그들이 새벽에 무덤을 찾아가 보았더니
  1. And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.
  2. And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.
  3. Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
  4. Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
  5. And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
  1. 그분의 시체가 없어졌더랍니다. 그뿐만 아니라 천사들이 나타나 그분은 살아 계시다고 일러주더라는 것이었습니다.
  2. 그래서 우리 동료 몇 사람이 무덤에 가보았으나 과연 그 여자들의 말대로였고 그분은 보지 못했습니다."
  3. 그 때에 예수께서 "너희는 어리석기도 하다! 예언자들이 말한 모든 것을 그렇게도 믿기가 어려우냐?
  4. 그리스도는 영광을 차지하기 전에 그런 고난을 겪어야 하는 것이 아니냐?"
  5. 하시며 모세의 율법서와 모든 예언서를 비롯하여 성서 전체에서 당신에 관한 기사를 들어 설명해 주셨다.
  1. And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.
  2. But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
  3. And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
  4. And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
  5. And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
  1. 그들이 찾아가던 동네에 거의 다다랐을 때에 예수께서 더 멀리 가시려는 듯이 보이자
  2. 그들은 "이젠 날도 저물어 저녁이 다 되었으니 여기서 우리와 함께 묵어가십시오." 하고 붙들었다. 그래서 예수께서 그들과 함께 묵으시려고 집으로 들어가셨다.
  3. 예수께서 함께 식탁에 앉아 빵을 들어 감사의 기도를 드리신 다음 그것을 떼어 나누어주셨다.
  4. 그제서야 그들은 눈이 열려 예수를 알아보았는데 예수의 모습은 이미 사라져서 보이지 않았다.
  5. 그들은 "길에서 그분이 우리에게 말씀하실 때나 성서를 설명해 주실 때에 우리가 얼마나 뜨거운 감동을 느꼈던가!" 하고 서로 말하였다.
  1. And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,
  2. Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.
  3. And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.
  1. 그들은 곧 그 곳을 떠나 예루살렘으로 돌아갔다. 가보았더니 거기에 열한 제자가 다른 사람들과 함께 모여서
  2. 주께서 확실히 다시 살아나셔서 시몬에게 나타나셨다는 말을 하고 있었다.
  3. 그 두 사람도 길에서 당한 일과 빵을 떼어주실 때에야 비로소 그분이 예수시라는 것을 알아보게 되었다는 이야기를 들려주었다.
 
  예수님의 분부(24:36-24:53)    
 
  1. And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
  2. But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
  3. And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
  4. Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
  5. And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.
  1. 그들이 그런 이야기를 하고 있을 때에 예수께서 나타나 그들 가운데 서시며 "너희에게 평화가 있기를!" 하고 말씀하셨다.
  2. 그들은 너무나 놀랍고 무서워서 유령을 보는 줄 알았다.
  3. 예수께서는 그들에게 "왜 그렇게 안절부절 못하고 의심을 품느냐?
  4. 내 손과 발을 보아라. 틀림없이 나다! 자, 만져보아라. 유령은 뼈와 살이 없지만 보다시피 나에게는 있지 않느냐?"
  5. 하시며 당신의 손과 발을 보여주셨다.
  1. And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?
  2. And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.
  3. And he took it, and did eat before them.
  4. And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
  5. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
  1. 그들은 기뻐하면서도 믿어지지가 않아서 어리둥절해 있는데 예수께서는 "여기에 무엇이든 먹을 것이 좀 없느냐?" 하고 물으셨다.
  2. 그들이 구운 생선 한 토막을 드리니
  3. 예수께서는 그것을 받아 그들이 보는 앞에서 잡수셨다.
  4. 그리고 그들에게 "내가 전에 너희와 함께 있을 때에도 말했거니와 모세의 율법과 예언서와 시편에 나를 두고 한 말씀은 반드시 다 이루어져야 한다." 하시고
  5. 성서를 깨닫게 하시려고 그들의 마음을 열어주시며
  1. And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
  2. And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
  3. And ye are witnesses of these things.
  4. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
  5. And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
  1. "성서의 기록을 보면 그리스도는 고난을 받고 죽었다가 사흘 만에 다시 살아난다고 하였다.
  2. 그리고 그리스도의 이름으로 회개하면 죄를 용서받는다는 기쁜 소식이 예루살렘에서 비롯하여 모든 민족에게 전파된다고 하였다.
  3. 너희는 이 모든 일의 증인이다.
  4. 나는 내 아버지께서 약속하신 것을 너희에게 보내주겠다. 그러니 너희는 위에서 오는 능력을 받을 때까지 예루살렘에 머물러 있어라." 하고 말씀하셨다.
  5. 예수께서 그들을 베다니아 근처로 데리고 나가셔서 두 손을 들어 축복해 주셨다.
  1. And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
  2. And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
  3. And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
  1. 이렇게 축복하시면서 그들을 떠나 하늘로 올라가셨다.
  2. 그들은 엎드려 예수께 경배하고 기쁨에 넘쳐 예루살렘으로 돌아가
  3. 날마다 성전에서 하느님을 찬미하며 지냈다.
