- 후삼이 죽자 브닷의 아들 하닷이 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다. 하닷은 미디안을 모압 벌에서 무찌른 왕이다. 그의 수도는 아윗이라 불렀다.

- 사믈라가 죽자 르호봇한나할 사람 사울이 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다.

- 바알하난이 죽자 하닷이 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다. 그의 수도는 바이라고 불리었다. 그의 아내의 이름은 므헤타브엘이었는데 그는 메자합의 손녀이자 마드렛의 딸이었다.

- 하닷이 죽은 다음에는 추장들이 에돔을 다스렸다. 추장 딤나, 추장 알랴, 추장 여뎃,
- 추장 오홀리바마, 추장 엘라, 추장 비논,
- 추장 크나즈, 추장 데만, 추장 밉살,
- 추장 막디엘, 추장 이람. 이들이 에돔의 추장들이었다.
