- They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
- These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.
- For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
- They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
- They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit's end.

- 배를 타고 바다로 나가 대양을 헤치며 장사하던 자들,
- 그들은 야훼께서 하신 일을 보았고, 깊은 바다에서 그 기적들을 보았다.
- 그가 한번 명하시자 돌풍이 일고 물결이 치솟았다.
- 하늘 높이 올랐다가, 바다 깊이 빠졌다가, 사람들은 혼이 나서 넋을 잃고
- 술취한 듯 비실비실 비틀거리니 그들의 모든 재주가 쓸모없이 되었다.

- Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
- He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
- Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
- Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
- Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.

- 그들이 그 고통 중에서 울부짖자 야훼께서 사경에서 건져주셨다.
- 광풍을 잠재우시어 물결을 잠잠케 하셨다.
- 이윽고 사방이 고요해지자, 모두들 기뻐하며 하느님의 인도를 받아 바라던 항구에 다다랐다.
- 그 사랑, 야훼께 감사하여라. 인생들에게 베푸신 그 기적들 모두 찬양하여라.
- 백성들 모임에서 그를 기리고 장로들 모임에서 그를 찬양하여라.
