- Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
- By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
- For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
- And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
- And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

- 형제 여러분, 전에 내가 전해 준 복음을 여러분의 마음속에 되새겨주려고 합니다. 이 복음은 여러분이 이미 받아들였고 또 여러분의 믿음의 기초가 되어 있습니다.
- 그러므로 여러분이 헛되이 믿는다면 몰라도 그렇지 않고 내가 전해 준 복음 그대로 굳게 지켜 나간다면 여러분은 이 복음으로 구원을 받게 될 것입니다.
- 나는 내가 전해 받은 가장 중요한 것을 여러분에게 전해 드렸습니다. 그것은 그리스도께서 성서에 기록된 대로 우리의 죄 때문에 죽으셨다는 것과
- 무덤에 묻히셨다는 것과 성서에 기록된 대로 사흘 만에 다시 살아나셨다는 것과
- 그 후 여러 사람에게 나타나셨다는 사실입니다. 그리스도께서는 먼저 베드로에게 나타나신 뒤에 다시 열두 사도에게 나타나셨습니다.

- After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
- After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
- And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
- For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
- But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

- 또 한번에 오백 명이 넘는 교우들에게도 나타나셨는데 그 중에는 이미 세상을 떠난 사람도 있지만 대다수는 아직도 살아 있습니다.
- 그 뒤에 야고보에게 나타나시고 또 모든 사도들에게도 나타나셨습니다.
- 그리고 마지막으로 팔삭둥이 같은 나에게도 나타나셨습니다.
- 나는 사도들 중에서 가장 보잘것없는 사람이요 하느님의 교회까지 박해한 사람이니 실상 사도라고 불릴 자격도 없습니다.
- 그러나 내가 오늘의 내가 된 것은 하느님의 은총의 덕입니다. 하느님께서 나에게 주신 은총은 헛되지 않았습니다. 과연 나는 어느 사도보다도 더 열심히 일했습니다. 그러나 이것은 내가 한 것이 아니라 나에게 주신 하느님의 은총으로 된 것입니다.

- Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.
- Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
- But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
- And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
- Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

- 내가 전하든지 다른 사도들이 전하든지 우리는 그리스도의 죽음과 부활을 전하고 있으며 여러분은 그것을 믿었습니다.
- 그리스도께서 죽은 자들 가운데서 다시 살아나셨다는 것을 우리가 전파하고 있는데 여러분 가운데 어떤 사람은 죽은 자의 부활이 없다고 하니 어떻게 된 일입니까?
- 만일 죽은 자가 부활하는 일이 없다면 그리스도께서도 다시 살아나셨을 리가 없고
- 그리스도께서 다시 살아나지 않으셨다면 우리가 전한 것도 헛된 것이요 여러분의 믿음도 헛된 것일 수밖에 없을 것입니다.
- 만일 죽은 자가 다시 살아나는 일이 없다면 하느님께서 그리스도를 다시 살리셨을 리가 없습니다. 그렇다면 하느님께서 그리스도를 다시 살리셨다고 증언하는 우리는 결국 하느님을 거스르는 거짓 증인이 되는 셈입니다.

- For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
- And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
- Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
- If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
- But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

- 만일 죽은 자들이 다시 살아나는 일이 없다면 그리스도께서도 다시 살아나실 수 없었을 것입니다.
- 만일 그리스도께서 다시 살아나시지 않았다면 여러분의 믿음은 헛된 것이 되고 여러분은 아직도 죄에서 헤어나지 못하고 있을 것입니다.
- 그리고 그리스도를 믿다가 세상을 떠난 사람들도 멸망했을 것입니다.
- 만일 그리스도를 믿는 우리가 이 세상에만 희망을 걸고 있다면 우리는 누구보다도 가장 가련한 사람일 것입니다.
- 그러나 그리스도께서는 죽은 자들 가운데서 다시 살아나셔서 죽었다가 부활한 첫 사람이 되셨습니다.

- For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
- For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
- But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
- Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
- For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

- 죽음이 한 사람으로 말미암아 온 것처럼 죽은 자의 부활도 한 사람으로 말미암아 왔습니다.
- 아담으로 말미암아 모든 사람이 죽는 것과 마찬가지로 그리스도로 말미암아 모든 사람이 살게 될 것입니다.
- 그러나 각각 차례가 있습니다. 먼저 그리스도께서 살아나셨고 그 다음에는 그리스도를 믿는 사람들이 그리스도께서 다시 오실 때 살아나게 될 것입니다.
- 그 다음에는 마지막 날이 올 터인데 그 때에는 그리스도께서 모든 권위와 세력과 능력의 천신들을 물리치시고 그 나라를 하느님 아버지께 바치실 것입니다.
- 그리스도께서는 하느님께서 모든 원수를 그리스도의 발 아래 굴복시키실 때까지 군림하셔야 합니다.

- The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
- For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
- And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

- 마지막으로 물리치실 원수는 죽음입니다.
- "하느님께서는 모든 것을 당신 발 아래 굴복시키셨다." 했습니다. 이렇게 모든 것을 굴복시키셨다고 할 때 굴복시키시는 그분은 그 속에 포함되어 있지 않다는 것이 분명합니다.
- 이리하여 모든 것이 그분에게 굴복당할 때에는 아드님 자신도 당신에게 모든 것을 굴복시켜 주신 하느님께 굴복하실 것입니다. 그 때에는 하느님께서 만물을 완전히 지배하시게 될 것입니다.
