이사야 11:1-13:22

 이사야는 이스라엘이 앗수르에 의해 징벌을 당한 처참한 상태에서 메시아가 오실 것이라는 희망적인 예언을 하였다. 메시아의 오심은 전 세계적이어서 대적 국가들이 굴복하고 포로로 잡힌 유대인들은 돌아올 것이라고 하였다. 그래서 그날에 모두가 하나님의 구원에 대해 감사의 찬송을 할 것이라고 하였다. 또한 야웨의 날이 가까웠으며 바벨론의 멸망이 임박했다고 예언하였다.
  
  이새의 줄기에서 날 싹(11:1-11:16)    
 
  1. And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
  2. And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
  3. And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
  4. But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
  5. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
  1. 이새의 그루터기에서 햇순이 나오고 그 뿌리에서 새싹이 돋아난다.
  2. 야훼의 영이 그 위에 내린다. 지혜와 슬기를 주는 영, 경륜과 용기를 주는 영, 야훼를 알게 하고 그를 두려워하게 하는 영이 내린다.
  3. 그는 야훼를 두려워하는 것으로 기쁨을 삼아 겉만 보고 재판하지 아니하고 말만 듣고 시비를 가리지 아니하리라.
  4. 가난한 자들의 재판을 정당하게 해주고 흙에 묻혀 사는 천민의 시비를 바로 가려주리라. 그의 말은 몽치가 되어 잔인한 자를 치고 그의 입김은 무도한 자를 죽이리라.
  5. 그는 정의로 허리를 동이고 성실로 띠를 띠리라.
  1. The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
  2. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
  3. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
  4. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
  5. And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
  1. 늑대가 새끼 양과 어울리고 표범이 숫염소와 함께 뒹굴며 새끼 사자와 송아지가 함께 풀을 뜯으리니 어린아이가 그들을 몰고 다니리라.
  2. 암소와 곰이 친구가 되어 그 새끼들이 함께 뒹굴고 사자가 소처럼 여물을 먹으리라.
  3. 젖먹이가 살무사의 굴에서 장난하고 젖뗀 어린아기가 독사의 굴에 겁 없이 손을 넣으리라.
  4. 나의 거룩한 산 어디를 가나 서로 해치거나 죽이는 일이 다시는 없으리라. 바다에 물이 넘실거리듯 땅에는 야훼를 아는 지식이 차고 넘치리라.
  5. 그 날 이새의 뿌리에서 돋아난 새싹은 만민이 쳐다볼 깃발이 되리라. 모든 민족이 그에게 찾아들고 그가 있는 곳에서 영광이 빛나리라.
  1. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
  2. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
  3. The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
  4. But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.
  5. And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod.
  1. 그 날 주께서 다시 손을 드시어 그의 남은 백성을 되찾아오시리라. 아시리아, 이집트, 바드로스, 에티오피아, 엘람, 바빌론, 하맛과 바다에 있는 여러 섬에서 되찾아오시리라.
  2. 야훼께서 모든 민족을 향하여 깃발을 드시고 이스라엘에서 흩어진 자들까지도 불러들이시며 유다에서 쫓겨난 자들을 땅의 구석구석에서 모으시리라.
  3. 에브라임은 질투를 버리고 유다는 적개심을 끊으리니 에브라임은 유다를 질투하지 아니하고 유다는 에브라임을 원수로 여기지 아니하리라.
  4. 그들은 함께 서쪽 불레셋 언덕을 덮치고 동쪽에 사는 사람들을 약탈하리라. 에돔과 모압은 그들의 손에 휘어 잡히고 암몬 백성들은 굴복하리라.
  5. 야훼께서 열풍을 일으켜 이집트 바다의 물목을 말리시고 손으로 유프라테스 강을 쳐 일곱 줄기로 가르시어 신을 신은 채 건너오게 하시리라.
  1. And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.
  1. 이스라엘이 이집트에서 올라오던 때처럼 아시리아에서 살아 남은 당신의 백성이 돌아올 큰 길이 트이리라.
 
  구원의 노래(12:1-12:6)    
 
  1. And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.
  2. Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
  3. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
  4. And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.
  5. Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.
  1. 그 날 너희는 이렇게 감사의 노래를 부르리라. "당신, 야훼께 감사를 드립니다. 당신께서 한때 나에게 노하셨으나 이제 그 노여움을 푸시어 나를 위로해 주십니다.
  2. 진정 하느님은 나의 구원이십니다. 내가 당신을 의지하니, 무서울 것이 없습니다. 야훼는 나의 힘, 나의 노래, 나의 구원이십니다."
  3. 너희는 기뻐하며 구원의 샘에서 물을 길으리라.
  4. 그 날 너희는 이렇게 감사의 노래를 부르리라. "야훼께 감사하여라. 그의 이름을 외쳐 불러라. 그가 하신 큰일을 만민에게 알려라. 그 높으신 이름을 잊지 않게 하여라.
  5. 야훼를 찬양하여라. 그가 큰일을 하셨다. 온 세상에 알려라.
  1. Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.
  1. 수도 시온아, 기뻐 외쳐라. 너희가 기릴 분은 이스라엘의 거룩하신 분이시다."
 
  바벨론의 심판(13:1-13:22)    
 
  1. The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.
  2. Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.
  3. I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.
  4. The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.
  5. They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.
  1. 아모쓰의 아들 이사야가 바빌론의 앞날을 내다보고 한 선언이다.
  2. 벗어진 산 위에 깃발을 세워라. 소리질러 군대를 소집하여라. 손을 흔들어 바빌론의 귀족문으로 그들을 불러들여라.
  3. 나는 분노가 치밀어 휘하 정병에게 명령한다. 나의 용사, 나의 자랑스러운 투사들을 부른다.
  4. 이 산 저 산에서 웅성대는 소리를 들어라. 많은 사람이 모인 것 같다. 나라들이 떠드는 소리를 들어라. 여러 민족이 모였다. 만군의 야훼께서 군대를 사열하신다.
  5. 그들은 먼 땅, 하늘 끝에서 온 땅을 잿더미로 만들려고 야훼의 징벌의 채찍이 되어 야훼와 함께 온다.
  1. Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
  2. Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:
  3. And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
  4. Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
  5. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
  1. 너희는 통곡하여라. 야훼의 날이 다가온다. 전능하신 이께서 너희를 파멸시키시러 오신다.
  2. 그리하여 모든 손의 맥이 다 풀리고 사람들의 마음은 모두 겁에 질려,
  3. 그 허둥대고 창자가 뒤틀려 괴로워하는 품이 해산하는 여인과도 같구나. 서로 눈이 휘둥그래져서 쳐다볼 뿐 얼굴만 달아오르는구나.
  4. 아, 몸서리쳐지는 야훼의 날이 온다. "격분과 분노가 치밀어 나는 땅을 잿더미로 만들고 죄인들을 불살라 버리리라.
  5. 하늘의 별들과 삼성성좌는 빛을 잃고 해는 떠도 침침하고 달 또한 밝게 비치지 아니하리라.
  1. And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
  2. I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
  3. Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.
  4. And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land.
  5. Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.
  1. 내가 악한 세상을 벌하고 악인들의 죄악을 벌하리라. 잘난 체하는 자들의 자랑을 꺾고 우쭐거리는 폭군들을 끌어내리리라.
  2. 인간을 순금보다도 적게 사람을 오빌의 금보다도 드물게 하리라.
  3. 내가 하늘을 흔들면 땅이 진동하여 제자리에서 밀려나리라." 그 날은 만군의 야훼께서 노여우시어 당신의 분노를 터뜨리시는 날,
  4. 그들은 쫓기는 사슴처럼 목자 없는 양떼처럼 뿔뿔이 제 겨레에게로 돌아가고 제 고장으로 달아나다가
  5. 눈에 띄는 대로 찔려 죽고 잡히는 대로 칼에 맞아 쓰러지리라.
  1. Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.
  2. Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.
  3. Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eyes shall not spare children.
  4. And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.
  5. It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.
  1. 그들의 어린것들은 눈앞에서 박살이 나고 집은 털리고 아내는 겁탈을 당하리라.
  2. "이제 나는 메대 사람을 부추겨 그들을 치게 하리라. 메대 사람들은 은 같은 것엔 아예 관심도 없고 금 같은 것은 탐내지도 않는 자들이다.
  3. 사내아이들을 갈기갈기 찢고 계집아이들을 박살내는 자들, 갓난아기도 불쌍히 여기지 아니하고 어린아이도 측은히 보지 않는 자들이다.
  4. 나라들 가운데서도 진주 같은 바빌론, 갈대아 사람들의 자랑과 영광인 바빌론이 하느님의 손에 망한 소돔과 고모라같이 되리라.
  5. 영원히 무인지경이 되어 대를 이어 그 곳에서 살 사람이 없으리라. 아랍 사람들도 천막을 치러 오지 않고 목자들도 풀을 뜯기러 양떼를 몰고 오는 일이 없으리라.
  1. But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.
  2. And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.
  1. 들짐승들이 뒹굴고 사람 살던 집에서 부엉이가 우글거리며 타조들이 깃들이고 들귀신들이 춤추는 곳이 되리라.
  2. 이리가 텅 빈 저택에서 부르면 화려하던 궁궐에서 승냥이의 소리가 메아리쳐 오리라. 그 때가 다가온다. 그 날은 결코 연기되지 않는다."
