이사야 26:1-28:29

 이사야는 구원받은 유다 백성들은 새 왕국에서 야웨께 감사 찬양을 부를 것이라고 했다. 야웨께서 원수를 죽이시고 이스라엘의 죄를 없이 하시고 이스라엘 백성들로 하여금 예루살렘 성산에서 다시 야웨께 경배하게 하실 것이라고 하였다. 또한 하나님께서 교만한 에브라임에 화가 있을 것이라고 하시면서 선민의 타락에 책임이 있는 종교 지도자들과 정치 지도자들에게 경고하셨다.
  
  구원의 노래(26:1-27:13)    
 
  1. In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.
  2. Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.
  3. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
  4. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
  5. For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.
  1. 그 날 유다 땅에서는 이런 노래를 부르리라. "우리의 도시는 견고하다. 그가 성벽을 겹겹이 쌓아 우리를 구원하셨다.
  2. 성문을 활짝 열어라. 충성을 다짐한 마음 바른 겨레를 들어오게 하여라.
  3. 마음이 한결같아 당신께 몸을 맡기는 그들, 당신께서는 번영과 평화로 그들을 지켜주시옵니다.
  4. 영원히 야훼를 믿고 의지하여라. 야훼는 영원한 바위시다.
  5. 그는 높은 곳에 사는 자들을 끌어내리시고 산성을 헐어내려 땅에 내던지신다. 먼지 바닥에 동댕이치신다.
  1. The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.
  2. The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.
  3. Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.
  4. With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
  5. Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.
  1. 그 도시가 짓밟힌다. 천대받던 자의 발길에 채인다. 영세민들의 발바닥에 짓밟힌다."
  2. 바르게 사는 사람의 길은 환하게 트입니다. 당신께서는 바르게 사는 사람의 앞길을 곧게 닦아주십니다.
  3. 야훼여, 당신의 재판으로 열리는 그 길만이 우리의 희망입니다. 당신의 이름을 깊이 그리워하여, 이 몸 당신을 잊지 못합니다.
  4. 밤새도록 당신을 그리는 이 마음, 아침이 되어 당신을 찾는 이 간절한 심정! 당신의 법이 세상에 빛나는 때 세상 주민들은 비로소 정의를 배울 것입니다.
  5. 악인이 복을 받는다면 세상이 어찌 정의를 배우겠습니까? 정직한 세상에서도 속임수만 쓰는 것들, 야훼의 위엄을 아랑곳도 하지 않습니다.
  1. LORD, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.
  2. LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.
  3. O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.
  4. They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.
  5. Thou hast increased the nation, O LORD, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.
  1. 자기들을 치기 위하여 높이 쳐든 야훼의 손을 보려고도 하지 않습니다. 당신 백성을 뜨겁게 사랑하시어 그들이 보고 부끄러워하게 하소서. 당신의 이 원수들을 불사르소서.
  2. 야훼여, 당신께서는 우리를 잘살게 해주십니다. 우리가 하는 일을 모두 이루어주십니다.
  3. 야훼, 우리 하느님이여, 당신이 아닌 다른 상전이 우리를 지배하였사오나, 그러나 우리는 당신밖에 아무도 모릅니다. 당신의 이름만을 부르렵니다.
  4. 죽은 사람이 어찌 다시 살아나겠습니까? 죽은 사람이 어찌 다시 일어서겠습니까? 당신께서 그들을 벌하시어 없애버리셨습니다. 그들 생각을 말끔히 씻어버리셨습니다.
  5. 당신께서 이 겨레를 번성하게 하셨습니다. 야훼여, 이 겨레를 번성하게 하시어 당신의 이름을 떨치셨습니다. 나라의 경계가 사방으로 뻗어나게 하셨습니다.
  1. LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.
  2. Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD.
  3. We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.
  4. Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
  5. Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
  1. 야훼여, 우리는 곤경에 빠져 당신을 찾았습니다. 억압받는 고통은 당신께서 내리신 채찍이었습니다.
  2. 임신한 여인이 몸풀 때가 되어 아파 몸부림치며 신음하듯이 야훼여, 우리도 당신 앞에서 괴로워하였습니다.
  3. 우리는 임신한 듯, 해산하듯 몸부림쳤습니다. 그러나 우리가 낳은 것은 바람에 불과하여 이 땅에 구원을 베풀어주지 못하였습니다. 세상에 인구가 하나도 불어나지 않았습니다.
  4. 그래도 우리는 믿습니다. 이미 죽은 당신의 백성이 다시 살 것입니다. 그 시체들이 다시 일어나고 땅 속에 누워 있는 자들이 깨어나 기뻐 뛸 것입니다. 땅은 반짝이는 이슬에 흠뻑 젖어 죽은 넋들을 다시 솟아나게 할 것입니다.
  5. 내 백성아, 어서 너의 골방으로 들어가거라. 들어가서 문을 꼭 닫아걸어라. 주의 노여움이 풀릴 때까지 잠깐 숨어 있어라.
  1. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
  1. 야훼께서 그 계시던 곳에서 나오시어 세상 모든 주민의 죄악을 벌하시리라. 그 때 땅은 그 위에 잦아들었던 피를 드러내고 숨겨졌던 피살자를 내놓으리라.
 
 
  1. In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
  2. In that day sing ye unto her, A vineyard of red wine.
  3. I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.
  4. Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.
  5. Or let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me.
  1. 그 날 야훼께서는 날서고 모진 큰 칼을 빼어 들어 도망가는 레비아단, 꿈틀거리는 레비아단을 쫓아가 그 바다 괴물을 찔러 죽이시리라.
  2. 그 날에 사람들이 부를 노래. "소담스런 포도밭 노래를 불러라.
  3. 나 야훼는 포도밭지기다. 쉬지 않고 물을 주며 잎이 마를세라 밤낮으로 보살핀다.
  4. 나는 조급하게 생각하지 아니하고 가시덤불, 엉겅퀴가 자란다 해도 싸움 싸우듯이 모조리 살라버리리라.
  5. 차라리 나의 힘을 빌려라. 거역하지 말고 나와 화목하여라."
  1. He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.
  2. Hath he smitten him, as he smote those that smote him? or is he slain according to the slaughter of them that are slain by him?
  3. In measure, when it shooteth forth, thou wilt debate with it: he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind.
  4. By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.
  5. Yet the defenced city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof.
  1. 야곱이 뿌리박는 날, 이스라엘이 꽃피어 열매를 맺는 날, 그 열매가 온 땅에 가득 차리라.
  2. 야곱을 치던 자들에게 하신 것처럼, 하느님께서 야곱을 치시겠는가? 이스라엘을 살육하던 자들에게 하신 것처럼 이스라엘을 죽이시겠는가?
  3. 그들을 벌하시기 위하여 모조리 쓸어 추방하시고 열풍을 부시어 그들을 쫓아내셨다.
  4. 야곱의 죄는 이렇게 용서받았다. 그리하여 야곱은 제단의 돌을 모두 횟돌처럼 부수어 가루로 만들고 목상과 분향단을 쓰러뜨린다.
  5. 요새화된 적의 도시는 쓸쓸한 무인지경, 황무지처럼 버려진 땅, 송아지들이 풀을 뜯고 뒹굴며 나뭇잎을 모조리 뜯는다.
  1. When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour.
  2. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel.
  3. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
  1. 나뭇가지는 말라 꺾여, 여인들의 땔나무나 되리니 이 백성이 우둔하여 그들을 지으신 이조차 가엾게 여기지 아니하시고 손수 빚어 만드신 이가 아끼지 않으시는 까닭이다.
  2. 그 날 야훼께서 마당질하시리라. 유프라테스 강 줄기에서 이집트로 건너가는 개울에 이르기까지 이스라엘 후손들아, 하느님께서 너희를 일일이 모아들이시리라.
  3. 그 날이 오면, 큰 나팔 소리 요란하리니 아시리아 땅에 귀양갔던 이들도, 이집트 땅에 뿔뿔이 흩어졌던 이들도 돌아와 예루살렘 거룩한 산에서 야훼께 예배를 드리리라.
 
  에브라임이 당할 화(28:1-28:29)    
 
  1. Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!
  2. Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.
  3. The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:
  4. And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.
  5. In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,
  1. 아! 네가 비참하게 되리라. 에브라임의 주정꾼들이 쓰고 뽐내는 꽃관, 사마리아야! 술부대의 머리에 얹힌 화려한 꽃, 사마리아야, 네가 정녕 시들리라.
  2. 보아라, 주께서 보내신 힘있고 강한 이가 온다. 우박 섞인 돌풍처럼, 휩쓰는 풍랑처럼, 마구 내려 퍼부어 바다를 이루는 폭우처럼 온다. 그가 와서 너를 잡아 땅에 처박으리라.
  3. 에브라임의 주정꾼들이 쓰고 뽐내는 꽃관아! 네가 마구 짓밟히리라.
  4. 기름진 골짜기를 굽어보는 언덕에 곱고 화려하게 피어 있는 꽃들아! 네가 정녕 시들리라. 이른 여름에 익는 돌무화과 같아 눈에 뜨이기가 무섭게 따 먹히리라.
  5. 그 날 살아 남은 당신의 백성에게는 만군의 야훼께서 고운 꽃관, 화려한 왕관이 되시리라.
  1. And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.
  2. But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
  3. For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
  4. Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
  5. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
  1. 재판석에 앉은 자에게는 공정한 마음을 주시고 성문에서 싸우는 용사에게는 적을 물리칠 용기를 주시리라.
  2. 술에 취해 비틀거리고 독주에 취해 헤매는 이자들은 누군가? 독주에 취해 비틀거리는 이자들은 바로 사제와 예언자들이 아닌가? 아주 술독에 빠져버렸구나. 저렇듯이 독주에 취하여 헤매다니! 비틀거리며 계시를 본다 하고 뒤뚱거리며 재판을 하다니!
  3. 술상마다 구역질나게 토해 놓고 떠드는구나.
  4. "저자가 하느님을 안다고 누구를 가르칠 셈인가? 되지 못하게 계시를 받았다고 누구를 깨우쳐줄 셈인가? 겨우 젖뗀 아기에게나, 금방 젖꼭지 놓은 아기에게나 해보시라지!
  5. 저자가 하는 소리를 좀 들어보세. '사울라사우, 사울라사우! 카울라카우, 카울라카우! 즈에르삼, 즈에르삼!'"
  1. For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
  2. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
  3. But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
  4. Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
  5. Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
  1. 과연 이제 하느님께서는 더듬거리는 말씨와 다른 나라 말로 이 백성에게 말씀하셔야겠구나.
  2. "쉴 때가 되었다. 고단한 자는 안식을 얻어라. 이제는 안심하여라." 일찍이 이렇게 말씀하셨지만 그들은 들으려 하지 않았다.
  3. 그래서 야훼께서는 그들에게 이렇게 말씀하시는 것이다. "사울라사우, 사울라사우! 카울라카우, 카울라카우! 즈에르삼, 즈에르삼!" 이런 말을 들으며 걸어가다가 뒤로 자빠지거라. 뒤통수가 깨지고 그물에 걸려 잡히거라.
  4. 야훼의 말씀을 들어라. 빈정대기나 좋아하는 자들아! 이 백성을 예루살렘에서 다스리는 자들아!
  5. 너희가 자신만만하게 말하는구나. "우리는 죽음과 계약을 맺었다. 저승과 협정을 체결하였다. 부서뜨리는 채찍이 지나가도 우리에게는 미치지 못한다. 거짓말이 우리의 대피소요, 속임수가 우리의 은신처다."
  1. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
  2. Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
  3. And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.
  4. From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.
  5. For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.
  1. 그러므로 주 야훼께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. "보아라, 내가 시온에 주춧돌을 놓는다. 값진 돌을 모퉁이에 놓아 기초를 튼튼히 잡으리니 이 돌을 의지하는 자는 마음 든든하리라.
  2. 법이 나의 척도요, 정의가 나의 저울이다. 거짓말로 꾸민 너희 대피소는 우박에 맞아 부서지고 그 은신처는 물에 휩쓸려 간다.
  3. 죽음과 맺은 너희의 계약은 깨지고 저승과 체결한 협정은 효력을 잃는다. 부서뜨리는 채찍이 지나가는 날, 너희는 산산이 부서진다.
  4. 지나갈 적마다 너희를 부서뜨리는 채찍이 아침마다 지나간다. 밤낮으로 지나간다. 이렇게 무섭게 얻어맞기나 해야 그 속뜻을 깨달으려느냐?
  5. 침대는 짧아서 길게 눕지 못하고, 이불은 좁아서 몸을 덮지 못한다."
  1. For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
  2. Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.
  3. Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.
  4. Doth the plowman plow all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground?
  5. When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place?
  1. 과연 야훼께서는 브라심 산에서처럼 일어나신다. 기브온 골짜기에서처럼 떨치고 일어나신다. 너무나 너무나 기이한 당신의 일을 이루시려고 오신다. 너무나 너무나 신비로운 당신의 사업을 이루시려고 오신다.
  2. 그러니 이제 빈정대기를 그만두어라. 포승에 꽁꽁 묶이지 않으려거든 그만 빈정대어라. 온 세상을 멸하기로 결정하셨다는 말씀을 나는 들었다. 주, 만군의 야훼께서 하시는 말씀을 나는 들었다.
  3. 귀를 기울여 내 소리를 들어라. 정신차려 내 말을 들어라.
  4. 농부가 날마다 밭만 갈겠느냐? 땅을 뒤집고 써레질만 하겠느냐?
  5. 땅을 고르고 나서 검정풀씨나 회향초씨를 뿌리지 않겠느냐? 밀과 보리를 심지 않겠느냐? 밭 가장자리에는 쌀보리를 심지 않겠느냐?
  1. For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him.
  2. For the fitches are not threshed with a threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned about upon the cummin; but the fitches are beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a rod.
  3. Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen.
  4. This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.
  1. 이런 농사법을 일러주신 이가 누구냐? 하느님께서 농부에게 가르쳐주신 것이다.
  2. 검정풀씨를 타작기로 떨더냐? 탈곡기를 굴려 회향초를 떨더냐? 검정풀씨는 막대기로 두드려 떤다. 회향초는 도리깨로 두드려 떤다.
  3. 어찌 밀알이 바서지도록 두드리겠느냐? 아니다, 무작정 두드리지는 않는다. 바서지기까지 탈곡기를 굴리지는 않는다.
  4. 이 생각도 만군의 야훼께서 가르쳐주신 것이다. 놀라운 계획을 멋지게 이루시는 야훼께서 가르쳐주신 것이다.
