- Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.
- Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
- Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
- That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
- Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

- 주인 된 사람들은, 여러분에게도 하늘에 주인이 계시다는 것을 알고, 자기 종들을 정당하고 공정하게 대우하십시오.
- 항상 깨어 있으면서 감사하는 마음으로 꾸준히 기도하십시오.
- 그리고 우리를 위해서도 기도해 주십시오. 하느님께서 우리에게 당신의 말씀을 전할 수 있는 기회를 터주셔서 그리스도의 심오한 진리를 전파할 수 있게 기도해 주십시오. 나는 이 진리를 위해서 지금 갇혀 있습니다.
- 그러니, 내가 이 심오한 진리를 제대로 말할 수 있게 기도해 주십시오.
- 교회 밖의 사람들에게는 지혜롭게 대하고 주어진 기회를 잘 살리십시오.

- Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
- All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord:
- Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts;
- With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here.
- Aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and Marcus, sister's son to Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)

- 여러분은 언제나 친절하게 유익한 말을 하고, 묻는 사람에게는 누구에게나 적절한 대답을 할 줄 알아야 합니다.
- 내 모든 사정은 디키고가 여러분에게 알려줄 것입니다. 이 사랑하는 형제는 주님을 위해서 나를 충실히 도와 함께 일하는 일꾼입니다.
- 우리 사정을 여러분에게 알리고, 또 여러분을 격려하려고 나는 이 사람을 여러분에게 보냅니다.
- 그리고 오네시모도 딸려 보냅니다. 그 사람도 성실하고 사랑받는 형제로서 여러분의 동향인입니다. 그 두 사람이 여기 사정을 여러분에게 알려줄 것입니다.
- 나와 함께 갇혀 있는 아리스다르코가 여러분에게 문안합니다. 또 바르나바의 사촌 마르코도 문안합니다. -마르코가 가거든 잘 영접하라는 지시를 여러분이 이미 받았을 줄 압니다.-

- And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.
- Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
- For I bear him record, that he hath a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis.
- Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you.
- Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.

- 유스도라고도 불리는 예수가 또한 여러분에게 문안합니다. 할례를 받은 사람들 중에서 하느님 나라를 위해서 나와 함께 일하는 사람들은 이들뿐인데 이들은 나에게 큰 위로가 되었습니다.
- 여러분의 동향인인 에바프라도 여러분에게 문안합니다. 그리스도 예수의 종인 에바프라는 여러분이 성숙한 사람으로 굳건히 서서 하느님의 뜻을 이루는 데 온전히 헌신할 수 있도록 언제나 열심히 기도하고 있습니다.
- 나는 그가 여러분을 위해서 또 라오디게이아와 히에라폴리스에 있는 교우들을 위해서 많은 수고를 하고 있다는 것을 여러분에게 증언합니다.
- 사랑하는 의사 루가가 문안하고 데마도 여러분에게 문안합니다.
- 라오디게이아에 있는 교우들에게 문안해 주시고 또 님파와 그 집에 모이는 교회에 문안해 주십시오.

- And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.
- And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.
- The salutation by the hand of me Paul. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you. Amen.

- 여러분이 이 편지를 읽고 나서는 라오디게이아 교회도 읽게 해주시고, 또 라오디게이아 교회를 거쳐서 가는 내 편지도 꼭 읽어주십시오.
- 그리고 아르킵보에게는 그리스도인으로서 받은 사명을 완수하라고 일러주십시오.
- 나는 친필로 서명을 하며 여러분에게 문안합니다. 바울로로부터. 내가 갇혀 있다는 것을 잊지 마십시오. 하느님의 은총이 여러분과 함께 있기를 빕니다.
