- Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.

- Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee.
- Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm.
- Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.

- 도움을 청하는 손을 뿌리치지 말고 도와줄 힘만 있으면 망설이지 마라.
- 있으면서도 "내일 줄 테니 다시 오게." 하며 이웃을 돌려보내지 마라.
- 너를 믿고 사는 이웃은 해칠 생각을 아예 마라.
- 너를 해치지도 않는 사람에게 공연히 시비를 걸어서는 안 된다.
- 사기치는 자들을 부러워하여 그들과 어울리려고 하지 마라.
