- Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
- Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
- God is known in her palaces for a refuge.

- 위대한 왕의 성, 북방에 있는 시온산은 그 터가 높고 아름다와 온 세계에 기쁨을 주는구나.
- 하나님은 자기가 예루살렘의 요새 되심을 보여 주셨다.
- 왕들이 합세하여 진격해 왔으나
- 그들이 예루살렘을 보고 놀라 허겁지겁 달아났다.

- 무서운 공포가 그들을 사로잡으니 그들의 고통이 해산하는 여인의 진통 같구나.
- 하나님이 동풍에 부서진 다시스의 배처럼 그들을 파멸시키셨다네.
- 우리가 하나님이 행하신 일을 듣기만 했는데 이제는 우리가 전능하신 여호와, 우리 하나님의 성에서 그것을 보았다. 하나님이 이 성을 영원히 안전하게 하시리라.
