여호수아 15:1-16:10

 먼저 제비뽑은 유다 지파는 가나안 남부의 넓은 지역을 분배받았다. 갈렙은 헤브론을 정복하여 기업을 얻었다. 다음으로 요셉의 자손인 에브라임 지파가 영토를 분배받았다.
  
  유다 지파의 땅(15:1-15:63)    
 
  1. This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; even to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward was the uttermost part of the south coast.
  2. And their south border was from the shore of the salt sea, from the bay that looketh southward:
  3. And it went out to the south side to Maalehacrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadeshbarnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:
  4. From thence it passed toward Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast.
  5. And the east border was the salt sea, even unto the end of Jordan. And their border in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan:
  1. 유다 지파가 집안별로 제비 뽑아 얻은 땅은 에돔 경계선과 진 광야 최남단까지였다.
  2. 그들의 남쪽 경계선은 사해 남단에서부터
  3. 아그랍빔 비탈 남쪽을 지나 진 광야에 이르고 또 가데스-바네아 남쪽으로 올라가서 헤스론을 지나 앗달로 올라갔으며 갈가 쪽으로 돌아
  4. 거기서 아스몬에 이르고 이집트 국경의 시내를 따라 지중해 연안에 가서 끝났다.
  5. 그리고 동쪽 경계선은 요단 강물이 흘러들어오는 사해이다. 북쪽 경계선은 사해 북단에서
  1. And the border went up to Bethhogla, and passed along by the north of Betharabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben:
  2. And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is before the going up to Adummim, which is on the south side of the river: and the border passed toward the waters of Enshemesh, and the goings out thereof were at Enrogel:
  3. And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward:
  4. And the border was drawn from the top of the hill unto the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah, which is Kirjathjearim:
  5. And the border compassed from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Jearim, which is Chesalon, on the north side, and went down to Bethshemesh, and passed on to Timnah:
  1. 벧-호글라로 올라가서 벧-아라바 북쪽을 지나 르우벤의 아들인 보한의 돌에 이르고
  2. 또 아골 골짜기에서부터 드빌을 지나 북으로 올라가서 그 골짜기 남쪽에 있는 아둠밈 비탈 맞은편의 길갈을 향해 북쪽으로 돌아 엔-세메스의 우물들이 있는 곳을 지나 엔-로겔에 이르고
  3. 거기서 힌놈 골짜기로 올라가 예루살렘성이 위치한 여부스 남쪽 언덕에 이르고 다시 거기서 힌놈 골짜기 서쪽에 있는 산꼭대기로 올라갔는데 이 곳은 르바임 골짜기 북쪽 끝이었다.
  4. 그리고 거기서 넵도아 샘물까지 이르러 에브론산 부근의 성들에 미치고 또 기럇-여아림이라고도 하는 바알라에 이르러
  5. 그 곳 서쪽을 돌아 세일산에 미치고 또 여아림산 북쪽에 위치한 그살론성을 지나 벧-세메스로 내려가서 딤나를 지난다.
  1. And the border went out unto the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out unto Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea.
  2. And the west border was to the great sea, and the coast thereof. This is the coast of the children of Judah round about according to their families.
  3. And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron.
  4. And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.
  5. And he went up thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjathsepher.
  1. 또 그 경계선은 거기서 에그론 북쪽 비탈로 가서 에그론에 이르러 바알라산을 지나고 얍느엘을 지나 지중해 연안에서 끝났다.
  2. 그리고 서쪽 경계선은 바로 지중해 연안이었다. 이상은 유다 지파가 집안별로 분배받은 땅의 경계선이다.
  3. 여호수아는 여호와께서 명령하신 대로 유다 지파의 땅 일부를 여분네의 아들 갈렙에게 주었는데 그 땅은 기럇-아르바 곧 헤브론성이었으며 이 아르바는 아낙의 조상이었다.
  4. 갈렙은 각 성에서 아낙의 후손인 세새와 아히만과 달매 자식들을 쫓아낸 다음
  5. 본래 기럇-세벨이라고 부른 드빌성을 치러 갔다.
  1. And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjathsepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.
  2. And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.
  3. And it came to pass, as she came unto him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou?
  4. Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs.
  5. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.
  1. 그때 갈렙은 '누구든지 기럇-세벨을 쳐서 점령하는 자에게 내 딸 악사를 아내로 주겠다.' 하고 선언하였다.
  2. 그러자 갈렙의 조카이며 그나스의 아들인 옷니엘이 그 성을 점령하였다. 그래서 갈렙은 자기 딸 악사를 그에게 아내로 주었다.
  3. 악사가 친정을 떠나는 날 자기 아버지께 밭을 요구하라고 남편에게 조르며 나귀에서 내리자 갈렙이 딸에게 '네가 무엇을 원하느냐?' 하고 물었다.
  4. 그때 악사는 '아버지, 한 가지 부탁이 있습니다. 아버지께서 건조한 네겝 지방의 땅을 나에게 주셨으니 샘물도 나에게 주세요.' 하고 대답하였다. 그래서 갈렙은 윗샘과 아랫 샘을 딸에게 주었다.
  5. 유다 지파가 집안별로 분배받은 성과 그 주변 부락들은 다음과 같다.
  1. And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the coast of Edom southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,
  2. And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,
  3. And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,
  4. Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,
  5. And Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, and Hezron, which is Hazor,
  1. 에돔 경계선 일대의 남쪽 네겝 지방에 있는 유다 지파의 성들은 갑스엘, 에델, 야굴,
  2. 기나, 디모나, 아다다,
  3. 게데스, 하솔, 잇난,
  4. 십, 델렘, 브알롯,
  5. 하솔-하닷다, 그리욧-헤스론 곧 하솔,
  1. Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,
  2. And Hazargaddah, and Heshmon, and Bethpalet,
  3. And Hazarshual, and Beersheba, and Bizjothjah,
  4. Baalah, and Iim, and Azem,
  5. And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,
  1. 아맘, 세마, 몰라다,
  2. 하살-갓다, 헤스몬, 벧-벨렛,
  3. 하살-수알, 브엘세바, 비스요댜,
  4. 바알라, 이임, 에셈,
  5. 엘돌랏, 그실, 홀마,
  1. And Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah,
  2. And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all the cities are twenty and nine, with their villages:
  3. And in the valley, Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,
  4. And Zanoah, and Engannim, Tappuah, and Enam,
  5. Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,
  1. 시글락, 맛만나, 산산나,
  2. 르바옷, 실힘, 아인, 림몬으로 모두 29개의 성과 그 주변 부락들이었다.
  3. 저지대에 있는 유다의 성들은 에스다올, 소라, 아스나,
  4. 사노아, 엔-간님, 답부아, 에남,
  5. 야르뭇, 아둘람, 소고, 아세가,
  1. And Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen cities with their villages:
  2. Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdalgad,
  3. And Dilean, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,
  4. Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,
  5. And Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,
  1. 사아라임, 아디다임, 그데라 곧 그데로다임 - 이상의 14개 성과 그 주변 부락들
  2. 스난, 하다사, 믹달-갓,
  3. 딜르안, 미스바, 욕드엘,
  4. 라기스, 보스갓, 에글론,
  5. 갑본, 라맘, 기들리스,
  1. And Gederoth, Bethdagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah; sixteen cities with their villages:
  2. Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan,
  3. And Jiphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,
  4. And Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities with their villages:
  5. Ekron, with her towns and her villages:
  1. 그데롯, 벧-다곤, 나아마, 막게다 - 이상의 16개 성과 그 주변 부락들
  2. 립나, 에덴, 아산,
  3. 입다, 아스나, 느십,
  4. 그일라, 악십, 마레사 - 이상의 9개 성과 그 주변 부락들
  5. 그리고 에그론과 그 주변의 모든 부락과 마을들,
  1. From Ekron even unto the sea, all that lay near Ashdod, with their villages:
  2. Ashdod with her towns and her villages, Gaza with her towns and her villages, unto the river of Egypt, and the great sea, and the border thereof:
  3. And in the mountains, Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh,
  4. And Dannah, and Kirjathsannah, which is Debir,
  5. And Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim,
  1. 에그론에서부터 지중해에 이르기까지 아스돗 부근의 모든 성과 그 부락들,
  2. 이집트 시내와 지중해 연안까지 뻗어 있는 아스돗과 가사와 그 주변 일대의 모든 부락과 마을들이었다.
  3. 산간 지대에 있는 유다 지파의 성들은 사밀, 얏딜, 소고,
  4. 단나, 기럇-산나 곧 드빌,
  5. 아납, 에스드모, 아님,
  1. And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh; eleven cities with their villages:
  2. Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,
  3. And Janum, and Bethtappuah, and Aphekah,
  4. And Humtah, and Kirjatharba, which is Hebron, and Zior; nine cities with their villages:
  5. Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Juttah,
  1. 고센, 홀론, 길로 - 이상의 11개 성과 그 주변 부락들
  2. 아랍, 두마, 에산,
  3. 야님, 벧-답부아, 아베가,
  4. 훔다, 기럇-아르바 곧 헤브론, 시올 -이 상의 9개 성과 그 주변 부락들
  5. 마온, 갈멜, 십, 윳다,
  1. And Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,
  2. Cain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten cities with their villages:
  3. Halhul, Bethzur, and Gedor,
  4. And Maarath, and Bethanoth, and Eltekon; six cities with their villages:
  5. Kirjathbaal, which is Kirjathjearim, and Rabbah; two cities with their villages:
  1. 이스르엘, 욕드암, 사노아,
  2. 가인, 기브아, 딤나 - 이상의 10개 성과 그 주변 부락들
  3. 할훌, 벧-술, 그돌,
  4. 마아랏, 벧-아놋, 엘드곤 - 이상의 6개 성과 그 주변 부락들
  5. 기럇-바알 곧 기럇-여아림, 랍바 - 이상의 2개 성과 그 주변 부락들이었다.
  1. In the wilderness, Betharabah, Middin, and Secacah,
  2. And Nibshan, and the city of Salt, and Engedi; six cities with their villages.
  3. As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day.
  1. 광야에 있는 유다 지파의 성들은 벧-아라바, 밋딘, 스가가,
  2. 닙산, 소금성, 엔-게디 - 이상의 6개 성과 그 주변 부락들이었다.
  3. 그러나 유다 지파는 예루살렘성에 살던 여부스 사람만은 쫓아낼 수 없었다. 그래서 여부스 사람이 오늘날까지 유다 자손과 함께 거기서 그대로 살고 있다.
 
  에브라임 지파의 땅(16:1-16:10)    
 
  1. And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, unto the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Bethel,
  2. And goeth out from Bethel to Luz, and passeth along unto the borders of Archi to Ataroth,
  3. And goeth down westward to the coast of Japhleti, unto the coast of Bethhoron the nether, and to Gezer; and the goings out thereof are at the sea.
  4. So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.
  5. And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus: even the border of their inheritance on the east side was Atarothaddar, unto Bethhoron the upper;
  1. 요셉 자손이 제비 뽑아 얻은 땅의 경계선은 여리고 맞은편의 요단강에서 시작하여 여리고 샘 동쪽을 지나 광야와 산간 지대를 거쳐 루스 곧 벧엘에 이르고
  2. 거기서 아렉 사람이 살고 있는 아다롯-앗달을 지나
  3. 서쪽으로 야블렛 사람의 경계로 내려가 아래 벧-호론까지 미치고 거기서 게셀에 이르러 지중해에서 그 경계선이 끝났다.
  4. 이상은 요셉 자손, 곧 에브라임 지파와 므낫세 서쪽 반 지파가 분배받은 땅의 경계선이다.
  5. 에브라임 지파가 그 집안별로 얻은 땅의 경계선은 동쪽 아다롯-앗달에서 시작하여 윗 벧-호론에 이르고
  1. And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward unto Taanathshiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah;
  2. And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came to Jericho, and went out at Jordan.
  3. The border went out from Tappuah westward unto the river Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.
  4. And the separate cities for the children of Ephraim were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.
  5. And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve under tribute.
  1. 거기서 서쪽으로 나아가 지중해에 이르렀다 다시 그 경계선은 북쪽 믹므닷에서 시작하여 동쪽으로 돌아 다아낫-실로와 야노아를 지난 다음
  2. 아다롯과 나아라로 내려가서 여리고에 이르러 요단강에서 끝났다.
  3. 다시 그 경계선은 북쪽 답부아에서 시작하여 서쪽으로 나아가 가나 시내를 따라 지중해까지 가서 끝났다. 이상은 에브라임 지파가 집안별로 분배받은 땅의 경계선이다.
  4. 이 밖에 에브라임 지파는 므낫세 서쪽 반 지파의 땅 중에서도 일부 성과 부락을 얻었다.
  5. 그러나 그들은 게셀에 사는 가나안 사람을 쫓아내지 않았으므로 그들이 오늘날까지 에브라임 지파 가운데 살면서 종살이하고 있다.
