- And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
- He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
- He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.
- They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
- He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.

- 여호와께서 자기 백성을 크게 번성하게 하셔서 그들의 대적보다 더 강하게 하시고
- 이집트 사람들의 마음을 돌이켜 자기 백성을 미워하게 하고 자기 종들을 교활하게 다루도록 하셨다.
- 그가 자기 종 모세와 자기가 택한 아론을 보내시자
- 그들이 자기 백성들에게 여호와의 표적을 보이고 함 땅에 기적을 행하였다.
- 여호와께서 흑암을 보내 그 땅을 어둡게 하셨으나 이집트 사람들은 그의 명령에 순종하지 않았다.

- He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
- Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
- He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.
- He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
- He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.

- 그가 강물을 피가 되게 하시고 물고기를 죽이셨다.
- 그 땅이 개구리로 뒤덮여 왕의 침실에도 뛰어들었다.
- 여호와께서 말씀하시니 파리 떼가 나오고 온 땅에 이가 생겼다.
- 그가 저희 땅에 비 대신 우박과 번개를 보내시고
- 포도나무와 무화과나무를 치시며 그 땅의 나무들을 꺾으셨다.

- He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,
- And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
- He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
- He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

- 여호와께서 말씀하시자 수많은 메뚜기 떼가 날아와서
- 그 땅의 모든 채소와 농작물을 먹어 버렸다.
- 여호와께서 이집트 가정에 모든 장남을 죽이시고
- 자기 백성을 인도하여 은과 금을 가지고 나오게 하셨으니 그들 가운데 병든 자나 약한 자들이 없었다.
