- They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
- These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.
- For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
- They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
- They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit's end.

- 배를 타고 바다에서 무역하는 자들이
- 여호와께서 행하시는 놀라운 일을 보았다.
- 여호와께서 명령하시므로 광풍이 일어나 바다 물결을 일으켰다.
- 그 배들이 높이 솟아올랐다가 물 속 깊이 들어가니 그들이 무서워 간이 콩알만하였다.
- 그들은 술 취한 사람처럼 이리저리 구르며 비틀거리고 어쩔 줄 몰랐다.

- Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
- He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
- Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
- Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
- Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.

- 그때 그들이 그 고통 가운데서 여호와께 부르짖으므로 그가 위험에서 그들을 구해 내시고
- 광풍을 그치게 하여 물결을 잠잠하게 하셨다.
- 바다가 잔잔하므로 그들이 기뻐하였으니 여호와께서 그들을 고대하던 항구로 안전하게 인도하셨다.
- 그들은 여호와의 한결같은 사랑과 그가 행하신 놀라운 일에 대하여 감사하고
- 백성의 모임에서 그를 높이며 지도자들이 모인 자리에서 그를 찬양해야 하리라.
