로마서 6:1-6:23

 바울은 그리스도와 연합함으로써 이미 죄에 대하여 ‘죽은 자’는 이제 그리스도와 함께 다시 ‘산 자’라고 하면서, 이제 자신을 죽은 자 가운데서 다시 살리신 하나님께 의의 병기로 드리라고 하였다.
  
  성화의 원리(6:1-6:11)    
 
  1. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
  2. God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
  3. Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
  4. Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
  5. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
  1. 그러면 하나님의 은혜를 더 받으려고 계속 죄를 지어야 하겠습니까?
  2. 결코 그럴 수 없습니다. 이미 죄에 대하여 죽은 우리가 어떻게 죄 가운데 그대로 살 수 있겠습니까?
  3. 여러분은 그리스도 예수님과 연합하는 세례를 받은 우리가 그분과 함께 죽었다는 사실을 모르십니까?
  4. 우리는 그분의 죽으심과 연합하는 세례를 받음으로써 그분과 함께 묻힌 것입니다. 이것은 그리스도께서 죽은 사람 가운데서 아버지의 영광으로 살아나신 것처럼 우리도 새로운 생명 가운데서 살도록 하기 위한 것입니다.
  5. 그리스도의 죽으심으로 우리도 함께 죽었다면 그분의 부활하심과 함께 우리도 틀림없이 부활하게 될 것입니다.
  1. Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
  2. For he that is dead is freed from sin.
  3. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
  4. Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
  5. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
  1. 우리의 옛 자아가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못박힌 것은 죄에 매인 육체를 죽여서 다시는 죄의 종이 되지 않게 하려는 것인 줄 압니다.
  2. 죄에 대하여 이미 죽은 사람은 죄에서 해방된 것입니다.
  3. 만일 우리가 그리스도와 함께 죽었으면 또한 그분과 함께 살아날 것도 믿습니다.
  4. 우리는 그리스도께서 죽은 사람들 가운데서 살아나셨으므로 다시는 죽으실 수 없고 죽음이 더 이상 그분을 지배하지 못할 것으로 알고 있습니다.
  5. 그리스도께서는 죄에 대하여 단 한 번 죽으시고 하나님을 위해 영원히 살아 계십니다.
  1. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
  1. 이와같이 여러분도 죄에 대해서는 죽은 사람이지만 하나님을 위해서는 그리스도 예수님 안에서 살아 있다고 여기십시오.
 
  실천적 권면(6:12-6:23)    
 
  1. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
  2. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
  3. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
  4. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
  5. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
  1. 그러므로 죄가 여러분의 죽을 몸을 지배하지 못하게 하여 악한 욕망에 따르지 않도록 하십시오.
  2. 여러분은 몸의 어느 한 부분이라도 죄의 도구가 되게 해서는 안 됩니다. 오히려 죽은 사람 가운데서 다시 살아난 사람처럼 여러분 자신을 하나님께 바치고 여러분의 몸을 정의의 도구로 하나님께 드리십시오.
  3. 여러분은 율법 아래 있지 않고 은혜 아래 있기 때문에 죄가 여러분을 지배하지 못할 것입니다.
  4. 그러면 우리가 율법 아래 있지 않고 은혜 아래 있다고 해서 죄를 지어도 된다는 말입니까? 결코 그럴 수 없습니다.
  5. 여러분이 누구에게 자신을 바쳐 복종하면 그의 종이 된다는 것을 모르십니까? 죄의 종이 되면 죽음에 이르고 하나님께 순종하는 종이 되면 의롭게 될 것입니다.
  1. But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
  2. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
  3. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
  4. For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
  5. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
  1. 그러나 하나님께 감사드릴 것은 전에 죄의 종이었던 여러분이 하나님의 말씀을 온전히 순종하므로
  2. 죄에서 해방되어 의의 종이 된 것입니다.
  3. 여러분은 본래 자아가 연약하기 때문에 내가 이것을 쉬운 말로 설명합니다. 여러분이 전에 부정과 불법을 위해 여러분의 몸을 죄의 종으로 드린 것처럼 이제는 여러분의 몸을 의의 종으로 드려 거룩하게 살도록 하십시오.
  4. 여러분이 죄의 종이었을 때에는 의와는 아무 상관이 없었습니다.
  5. 그 결과 얻은 유익이 무엇입니까? 지금 여러분이 부끄러워하는 것밖에 더 있습니까? 그런 생활의 결과는 영원한 죽음입니다.
  1. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
  2. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
  1. 그러나 이제 여러분은 죄에서 해방되어 하나님의 종이 되었고 거룩한 생활을 하게 되었으니 그 결과는 영원한 생명입니다.
  2. 죄의 댓가는 죽음이지만 하나님께서 거저 주시는 선물은 우리 주 예수 그리스도 안에 있는 영원한 생명입니다.
