로마서 7:21-8:17

 바울은 성화의 과정 중에서 성도들이 반드시 겪게 되는 내적 갈등에 대하여 언급한 후, 이어 죄와 사망의 법에서 해방된 성도는 생명의 법 아래 있는 자임을 증거하였다. 그리고 성도는 하나님, 곧 그리스도의 후사이며, 그와 함께 영광을 받기 위해서는 고난도 함께 받아야 한다고 하였다.
  
  성화와 성령(7:21-8:17)    
 
  1. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
  2. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
  3. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
  4. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
  5. I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
  1. 여기서 나는 하나의 원리를 발견했는데 그것은 선한 일을 하려는 나에게 악이 함께 있다는 사실입니다.
  2. 나의 내적 존재는 하나님의 법을 좋아하지만
  3. 내 육체에는 또 다른 법이 있습니다. 그것이 내 마음과 싸워서 나를 아직도 내 안에 있는 죄의 종으로 만들고 있다는 것을 알았습니다.
  4. 아아, 나는 얼마나 비참한 사람인가요! 누가 이 죽음의 몸에서 나를 구해 내겠습니까?
  5. 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통해 나를 구원해 주신 하나님께 감사합니다. 아직도 내 마음은 하나님의 법을 따르고 육신은 죄의 법을 따르고 있습니다.
 
 
  1. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
  2. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
  3. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
  4. That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
  5. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
  1. 그러므로 이제 그리스도 예수님을 믿는 사람들에게는 유죄 판결이 없습니다.
  2. 이것은 그리스도 예수님을 통해서 생명을 주시는 성령님의 능력이 죄와 죽음의 굴레에서 여러분을 해방시켜 주셨기 때문입니다.
  3. 우리의 타락한 성품 때문에 율법이 연약하여 할 수 없는 그것을 하나님은 하셨습니다. 하나님께서는 죄의 문제를 해결하시기 위해 자기 아들을 죄 많은 인간의 모양으로 보내시고 우리의 죄값을 그에게 담당시키신 것입니다.
  4. 그것은 육신을 따라 살지 않고 성령님을 따라 사는 우리에게 율법의 요구를 이루기 위한 것입니다.
  5. 육신을 따라 사는 사람은 육신의 일을 생각하지만 성령님을 따라 사는 사람은 성령님의 일을 생각합니다.
  1. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
  2. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
  3. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
  4. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
  5. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
  1. 육적인 생각은 죽음을 뜻하고 영적인 생각은 생명과 평안을 뜻합니다.
  2. 육적인 사람은 하나님의 법에 복종하지도 않고 또 복종할 수도 없기 때문에 하나님과 원수가 되고 맙니다.
  3. 육신의 지배를 받는 사람은 하나님을 기쁘시게 할 수 없습니다.
  4. 그러나 성령님이 여러분 안에 계시면 여러분은 육신의 지배를 받는 것이 아니라 성령님의 지배를 받습니다. 누구든지 그리스도의 영이 없으면 그리스도의 사람이 아닙니다.
  5. 그러나 그리스도께서 여러분 안에 살아 계시면 비록 여러분의 몸은 죄로 죽어 있으나 영은 의로 인해서 살아 있는 것입니다.
  1. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
  2. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
  3. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
  4. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
  5. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
  1. 죽은 사람들 가운데서 예수님을 다시 살리신 분의 영이 여러분 안에 계시면 그리스도를 살리신 그분이 여러분 안에 계시는 성령님을 통해 여러분의 죽을 몸도 살리실 것입니다.
  2. 형제 여러분, 우리가 빚진 사람들이지만 육신의 빚을 지고 육신을 따라 살아서는 안 될 것입니다.
  3. 만일 여러분이 육신을 따라 살면 죽을 것이지만 성령님을 통해 육적인 악한 행위를 죽이면 살 것입니다.
  4. 성령님의 인도를 받는 사람은 다 하나님의 아들들입니다.
  5. 여러분은 다시 두려워해야 할 종의 영을 받은 것이 아니라 하나님의 아들이 되게 하는 성령을 받았습니다. 그래서 우리는 성령님을 통해 하나님을 '나의 아버지' 라고 부릅니다.
  1. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
  2. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
  1. 바로 그 성령님이 우리 영과 함께 우리가 하나님의 자녀라는 사실을 증거하십니다.
  2. 우리가 하나님의 자녀라면 하나님의 상속자로서 그리스도와 공동 상속인이 되는 것입니다. 그러므로 우리가 그리스도와 함께 영광을 받으려면 그분과 함께 고난도 받아야 합니다.
