- Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
- While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
- Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
- His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
- Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:

- 여호와를 찬양하라! 내 영혼아, 여호와를 찬양하라!
- 내가 살아 있는 동안 여호와를 찬양하며 내 평생에 하나님을 찬송하리라.
- 권력 있는 사람을 의지하지 말며 도울 힘이 없는 인간을 의지하지 말아라.
- 사람이 죽으면 흙으로 돌아가게 되는데 그 날로 모든 계획이 수포로 돌아갈 것이다.
- 야곱의 하나님을 의지하고 자기 하나님 여호와께 희망을 두는 자는 복이 있다.

- Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:
- The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:
- The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
- The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.

- 여호와는 천지와 바다와 그 가운데 있는 모든 것을 창조한 분이시며 언제나 약속을 지키는 분이시다.
- 그는 억눌린 자를 위해 공정할 판단을 내리시며 굶주린 자에게 먹을 것을 주시고 갇힌 자를 석방하신다.
- 그는 소경의 눈을 뜨게 하시고 넘어진 자를 일으키시며 의로운 자를 사랑하신다.
- 여호와는 나그네를 보호하시고 고아와 과부를 돌보시지만 악인의 계획은 좌절시키신다.
- 여호와는 영원한 왕이시다. 시온아, 네 하나님이 대대로 통치하시리라. 여호와를 찬양하라!
