이사야 44:1-45:25

 하나님께서는 자신을 이스라엘의 왕이시며, 구속자인 만군의 야웨라고 하면서 야웨밖에 다른 신이 없다고 하셨다. 우상 숭배자들을 향하여 수치를 당할 것이라고 하였다. 또한 하나님께서는 고레스를 야웨의 목자로 삼으셔서 그를 통하여 예루살렘이 중건되고 성전의 기초가 세워질 것이라고 하셨다.
  
  이스라엘의 구속(44:1-44:28)    
 
  1. Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:
  2. Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.
  3. For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
  4. And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.
  5. One shall say, I am the LORD's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
  1. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '내가 택한 나의 종 이스라엘아, 들어라.
  2. 나는 너를 만들었을 뿐만 아니라 앞으로 너를 도와 줄 여호와이다. 내가 택한 종 이스라엘아, 너는 두려워하지 말아라.
  3. 내가 목마른 자에게 물을 주고 마른 땅에 시내가 흐르게 하며 성령과 복을 네 후손들에게 부어 줄 것이니
  4. 그들은 무성하게 자라는 풀이나 시냇가의 버들처럼 번성할 것이다.
  5. 어떤 사람은 '나는 여호와의 백성이다.' 하고 자랑스럽게 말할 것이며 또 어떤 사람은 야곱의 이름을 부르고 또 다른 사람은 여호와의 백성이라는 말을 자기 팔에 새기며 이스라엘이란 이름을 자랑스럽게 부를 것이다.'
  1. Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
  2. And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.
  3. Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.
  4. They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.
  5. Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?
  1. 이스라엘의 왕이신 여호와, 이스라엘의 구원자가 되시는 전능하신 여호와가 말씀하신다. '나는 처음이요 마지막이니 나 외에는 다른 신이 없다.
  2. 내가 인류를 창조한 이후로 나처럼 외치고 말한 자가 있느냐? 만일 있으면 앞으로 있을 일과 장차 일어날 사건을 말하게 하라.
  3. 내 백성들아, 너희는 두려워하거나 겁내지 말아라. 내가 옛날부터 너희에게 말하지 않았느냐? 너희는 내 증인이다. 나 외에 다른 신이 있느냐? 내가 알지 못하는 다른 반석이 있느냐?'
  4. 우상을 만드는 자들은 다 어리석고 그들이 소중히 여기는 신들도 무익하니 우상을 만든 그들이 바로 이것에 대한 증인이다. 그러므로 우상을 섬기는 눈멀고 무식한 자들이 수치를 당할 것이다.
  5. 신으로 섬기겠다고 우상을 만들어 봐도 아무 소용이 없다.
  1. Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together.
  2. The smith with the tongs both worketh in the coals, and fashioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with the strength of his arms: yea, he is hungry, and his strength faileth: he drinketh no water, and is faint.
  3. The carpenter stretcheth out his rule; he marketh it out with a line; he fitteth it with planes, and he marketh it out with the compass, and maketh it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the house.
  4. He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the forest: he planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish it.
  5. Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.
  1. 우상을 섬기는 자들이 그것을 만든 자들과 함께 다 여호와 앞에 서서 두려워 떨며 수치를 당할 것이다.
  2. 철공은 연장을 만들기 위해 대장간에서 철을 불에 달구고 망치로 힘 있게 두들기므로 배고프고 목말라 지쳐 버리고 만다.
  3. 그리고 목공은 나무 치수를 재고 윤곽을 그려 사람의 아름다운 모습을 새겨서 그것을 자기 집에 둔다.
  4. 그런 우상을 만들기 위해서 그는 백향목을 자르고 잣나무나 상수리나무를 사용하기도 하며 어떤 때는 전나무를 심어 놓고 비에 자랄 때까지 기다리기도 한다.
  5. 그는 그 나무의 일부를 땔감으로 사용하여 불을 피워 자기 몸을 따뜻하게 하거나 떡을 구워 먹기도 하고 그 나머지 나무로 우상을 만들어 그 앞에 절하며 그것을 숭배한다.
  1. He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:
  2. And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.
  3. They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.
  4. And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?
  5. He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?
  1. 그는 그 나무 일부로 불을 피워 고기를 삶거나 구워서 배불리 먹고 몸을 따뜻하게 하며 '정말 따뜻하구나. 이 얼마나 좋은 불인가!' 하고 감탄을 금치 못한다.
  2. 그리고 그는 그 나머지 나무로 우상을 만들어 그 앞에 절하고 경배하며 '당신은 내 신입니다. 나를 구하소서.' 하고 빌기까지 한다.
  3. 그와 같은 사람들은 어리석고 무식하여 자기들이 하는 짓을 깨닫지 못하며 진리에 대한 눈과 마음이 어두워져 있다.
  4. 우상을 만들어 섬기는 사람은 생각할 능력이나 지식이 없으며 '내가 그 나무의 일부로 불을 피워 그 숯불 위에 떡과 고기를 구워 먹었는데 나머지 나무로 우상을 만들어 이 나무 토막 앞에 절을 하다니!' 하고 말할 수 있는 지각이 없다.
  5. 그는 거짓에 미혹되어 자신을 구할 수도 없고 자기 손에 들고 있는 우상이 신이 아니라고 말하지도 못한다.
  1. Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.
  2. I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.
  3. Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.
  4. Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
  5. That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;
  1. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '이스라엘아, 너는 이것을 기억하라. 너는 내 종이다. 내가 너를 창조하여 내 종으로 삼았으니 내가 결코 너를 잊지 않겠다.
  2. 구름이나 아침 안개가 사라지듯 내가 네 죄를 없애 버렸다. 너는 나에게 돌아오라. 내가 너를 구원하였다.'
  3. 하늘아, 기쁨으로 노래하라. 하나님께서 이 놀라운 일을 행하셨다. 땅아, 큰 소리로 외쳐라. 산과 숲속의 모든 나무들아, 큰 소리로 노래하라. 여호와께서 이스라엘을 구원하심으로 자기 영광을 나타내셨다.
  4. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '나는 너의 구원자, 여호와이며 너를 생기게 하고 만물을 창조한 여호와이다. 내가 혼자 하늘을 펴고 땅을 만들었다.
  5. 나는 거짓 예언자들과 점장이들의 예언이 틀리게 하여 그들을 어리석은 자로 만들고 지혜로운 자와 지식을 쓸모없게 하는 자이다.
  1. That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:
  2. That saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers:
  3. That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.
  1. 그러나 내 종들이 예언할 때나 내 사자를 보내 내 계획을 알릴 때에는 내가 그 계획과 예언을 성취시킨다. 나는 예루살렘에 대하여 거기 사람이 다시 살게 될 것이라고 말하며 유다 성들에 대해서는 그것이 재건될 것이라고 말하고 그들의 폐허에 대해서는 그것들이 복구될 것이라고 말하는 자이다.
  2. 나는 말 한 마디로 강과 바다를 말리며
  3. 키루스에 대하여 '그는 내 목자이므로 내가 원하는 일을 성취할 것이다. 그가 예루살렘의 재건과 성전 기초 공사를 명령할 것이다.' 하고 말하는 자이다.'
 
  구원자 고레스(45:1-45:25)    
 
  1. Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
  2. I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
  3. And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
  4. For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.
  5. I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
  1. 여호와께서는 키루스황제를 택하여 많은 나라를 정복하게 하고 왕들을 무력하게 하며 바빌론 성문들을 열어 다시는 그를 향해 닫지 못하게 하시고 키루스에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다.
  2. '내가 너보다 앞서 가서 험한 곳을 평탄하게 하고 놋문을 쳐서 부수며 쇠빗장을 꺾고
  3. 어둡고 은밀한 곳에 감추어진 재물과 보화를 너에게 주어서 너를 지명하여 부른 자가 이스라엘의 하나님 나 여호와임을 알게 하겠다.
  4. 내가 택한 내 종 이스라엘을 위하여 내가 너를 지명하여 불렀고 네가 비록 나를 알지 못하여도 내가 너에게 영광스러운 칭호를 주었다.
  5. 나는 여호와이며 나 외에는 다른 신이 없다. 네가 나를 알지 못하여도 나는 네가 필요로 하는 힘을 너에게 주어
  1. That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.
  2. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
  3. Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.
  4. Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
  5. Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?
  1. 세상 모든 사람들이 나는 여호와이며 나 외에는 다른 신이 없는 것을 알게 할 것이다.
  2. 나는 빛도 만들고 어둠도 만들며 축복도 하고 저주도 하여 이 모든 것을 다 행하는 여호와이다.
  3. 하늘아, 열려라. 창공아, 의를 비처럼 쏟아라. 땅에서 구원과 의가 함께 움이 돋아 열매를 맺을 것이다. 나 여호와가 이렇게 되도록 하였다.
  4. 깨어진 질그릇의 한 조각에 불과한 자가 자기 창조자와 다툰다면 화를 면치 못할 것이다. 진흙이 토기장이에게 '너는 무엇을 만드느냐?' 하고 말할 수 있느냐? 질그릇이 그것을 만든 자에게 '너는 기술이 없다.' 하고 말할 수 있느냐?
  5. 자기 아버지와 어머니에게 '어째서 나를 이렇게 만드셨습니까?' 하고 말하는 자에게 화가 있을 것이다.'
  1. Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.
  2. I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
  3. I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.
  4. Thus saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God.
  5. Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.
  1. 이스라엘의 거룩하신 하나님이시며 이스라엘을 세우신 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '너희가 무슨 권리로 내 자녀들에 대해서 앞으로 될 일을 물으며 너희가 누군데 내가 하는 일에 대하여 명령하느냐?
  2. 나는 땅을 만들고 그 위에 사람을 창조하였으며 내가 손으로 하늘을 펴고 하늘의 수많은 별들을 명령하여 생기게 하였다.
  3. 내가 나의 의로운 목적을 이루기 위해서 키루스를 일으켰다. 내가 그의 모든 길을 곧게 할 것이니 그가 내 성 예루살렘을 재건하고 포로로 잡혀 있는 내 백성을 아무런 값이나 댓가를 받지 않고 거저 놓아 줄 것이다. 이것은 전능한 나 여호와의 말이다.'
  4. 여호와께서 이스라엘에게 말씀하신다. '이집트와 이디오피아의 재물이 네 것이 될 것이며 키 큰 스바 사람들이 네 종이 되어 사슬에 묶인 채 너를 따를 것이다. 그들이 네 앞에 엎드려 '과연 하나님이 너와 함께 하시고 그분 외에는 다른 신이 없다.'고 고백할 것이다.'
  5. 구원자이신 이스라엘의 하나님이시여, 참으로 주는 자신을 숨기시는 하나님이십니다.
  1. They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that are makers of idols.
  2. But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
  3. For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
  4. I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
  5. Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
  1. 우상을 만드는 자는 다 부끄러움과 수치를 당할 것이지만
  2. 이스라엘은 영원히 여호와의 구원을 받아 수치나 부끄러움을 당하는 일이 없을 것이다.
  3. 여호와께서는 하늘을 창조하시고 땅을 창조하여 견고하게 하시되 황폐한 곳이 아니라 사람이 살 수 있는 곳으로 창조하시고 이렇게 말씀하셨다. '나는 여호와이며 나 외에는 다른 신이 없다.
  4. 나는 은밀한 곳이나 어두운 곳에서 말하지 않았으며 이스라엘 백성에게 나를 황폐한 곳에서 찾으라고 하지 않았다. 나는 진리를 말하고 옳은 일을 알리는 여호와이다.'
  5. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '키루스를 피해 살아 남은 민족들아, 함께 모여 가까이 나아오라. 나무 우상을 가지고 다니며 구원하지도 못하는 신에게 기도하는 자들은 다 무지한 자들이다.
  1. Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.
  2. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
  3. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
  4. Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
  5. In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.
  1. 너희는 앞으로 있을 일을 말하고 제시하라. 서로 의논해 보아라. 장차 일어날 일을 오래 전에 예언한 자가 누구냐? 자기 백성을 구원하는 의로운 하나님 나 여호와가 아니냐? 나 외에는 다른 신이 없다.
  2. 세상 모든 사람들아, 나를 바라보아라. 그러면 구원을 얻을 것이다. 나는 하나님이며 나 외에는 다른 신이 없다.
  3. 내가 맹세하지만 내 입에서 나간 의로운 말은 다시 돌아오지 않을 것이다. 세상 모든 사람이 내 앞에 무릎을 꿇을 것이며 나에게 충성할 것을 맹세할 것이다.
  4. 사람들은 나에 대하여 '여호와에게만 의와 힘이 있다.'고 말한다. 그러나 나를 미워하는 자들은 다 수치를 당할 것이다.
  5. 모든 이스라엘 자손들은 나 여호와에게 의롭다는 인정을 받고 자랑스럽게 여길 것이다.'
